Early signs of spring may not be good

Warm temperatures, colorful wildflowers. What´s not to like, about early signs of spring? Climate scientists at NASA say these early signs could be tied to global warming, and the consequences are troubling. 9NEWS talked to NASA scientist Dr. Compton Tucker at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. He said that on average, the last frost of the year is happening about five days earlier than it did just five decades ago. Tucker said his conclusions are drawn from a fleet of Earth-observing satellites that have been monitoring our planet for more than 40 years. That satellite data combined with

Oh but the "polar vortices" were NOT evidence of a cooling trend?

You gotta laugh at people who think science works only one way - their way.

Global warming is caused by changing our clocks.. Every spring we turn them forward, it gets warmer. We turn them back and it cools. Proof positive!!

So #7, if I´m reading that right, if we get the clock manufacturers to only allow clocks to be set back and not forward, that that will eliminate global warming? Actually from now on I´m advocating for all clocks to be advanced one hour a month until it gets hot enough for wheat to be grown all the way up to the Arctic Circle. In case I´m not being clear, I like warm weather but just can´t afford to move to Hawaii....

Why does NASA not analyze just the data that comes from the satellites? They know that the standard meteorological data from ground stations has been compromised by heat sources that have been placed near sensors. So why do they keep using the ground data? They are cherry picking data to get the results they want.

It is hard to calculate just how full of BS these people are! If we have bad news - i.e. hurricanes, record snow storms, etc., it´s all the fault of man-made "global warming" or "climate change." Then when we have really good news such as warm weather, flowers, blue skies, it turns out it´s really bad news.

What life must be like for these people! They wake up thinking of the coming horrors, they go through their day expecting catastrophe, and then they go to bed at night worried about the next day.

Not satisfied to live alone in their own misery, they must try and force us all to live in their fear and pessimism. How pathetic!

There´s another possible explanation, if -- IF -- the latest frost is happening progressively earlier in the year: contrails.

There has been a long-term increase in cirrus cloud cover over the past 50 years, and the cause is jet contrails. This high cloud cover doesn´t make the average temperature higher or lower, but it does make the days cooler (by blocking sunlight) and the nights warmer (by acting as a blanket and retarding loss of heat at night).

Is it climate change? In a sense yes, because it can make growing seasons a little longer (a good thing). Is it human-caused? Yes -- no other species builds airplanes. Does it mean the climate is getting warmer? No. It makes the hottest days less hot and the coldest nights less cold.

Simple earth science isn´t taught so the lemmings are left to form their own childlike answers.
Is it possible to teach them another concept such as the system revolving around the polar star and seasons on earth over time move in retro fahion with spring arriving earlier as a new arc begins.
