Missing jet, Iranian threats,
prompt Israel to tighten air security

Fox News, by Paul Alster

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 3/17/2014 10:26:05 PM

Haifa, Israel - Top Israeli defense officials have hurriedly put in place a confidential list of secret security measures in light of the baffling disappearance of a Malaysia Airlines jumbo jet that experts fear could become a weapon of mass destruction if in the wrong hands. (Snip) “My guess is based upon the stolen passports, and I believe Iran was involved [in the disappearance of the plane],” Issac Yeffet, formerly a global security expert for Israel’s national airline El Al told today’s Times of Israel. “They hijacked the aircraft and they landed it in a place that nobody can see or find it.”

Comments:
The Mossad knows something Malaysia isn´t telling the world? I would listen to their intel and speculation any day, especially over ours currently.

No one has taken responsibility for this, yet, because they are not done. As always, Israel knows what´s what.

FTA: “Tehran would not want to jeopardize the easing of international sanctions and other gains made recently at the Geneva negotiations with the US and the P5+1.”

I don’t think Iran is afraid of doing anything, directly or indirectly, that would jeopardize the easing of the international sanctions. They see the weak response to Putin and know there is nothing to fear from Zero or the EU. Russian and Iran are allies, is the Crimea Crisis the cover for Iran?

The Israelis know...they are the target. They also know now that the surrogate attackers have likely come into possession of a nuclear device, and this plane has been commandeered as the delivery system.

The reason for the surrogate attackers is so Iran itself can escape blame, and thus prevent Israel from having a valid reason for a devastating counter-attack. The reason for the likelihood of a nuclear device is the size of the plane, namely, big enough to carry a very big, crude device. It´s probably being retrofitted for its ultimate mission as we speak.

The question for the Israelis is not simply how to stop the plane. They can, and they will. But not knowing the exact nature of the nuclear device, the issue now is how far away they must intercept the plane to minimize the damage. Thus the immediate protocol change to identify incoming planes farther out than previously required.

God help the Israelis. Heaven knows Obama won´t.

No idea if the Mossad knows where the plane is or what the highjackers actually intend (but I wouldn´t doubt that they know something). But they sure know who they are dealing with. When you know that in the past few weeks, forget about over the years, we´ve had problems with 60-plus rockets (yes, I know the international coverage isn´t to good )falling on our heads, we´ve intercepted a ship full of better rockets(and have to assume that others got through) and that Hizballah has more and simply hasn´t elected to shoot them at us yet, when a plane like disappears it is NOT paranoia to assume that there is a high probability that you are the destination for a converted missile and take appropriate precautions.

State governors from both parties have reacted cooly to efforts by the Obama administration to gain their support for placing thousands of unaccompanied Central American children with friends or family members. Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Matthews Burwell met privately with dozens of governors Sunday at the National Governors Association summer meeting in Nashville. According to those who attended the meeting, the governors expressed particular concerns about the costs to states, including that of providing public education for the children. Burwell left the meeting through a side door without talking to

Not even a week after it was offered, President Obama’s $3.7 billion plan to deal with the growing crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border appears all but dead, with Republican lawmakers Sunday decrying the administration’s “blank check” proposal and instead calling for a more targeted response centered on greater border security. Even Texas Gov. Rick Perry, personally recruited by the president to persuade Republicans to support the measure, threw cold water on the idea. He said the president doesn’t need that much money and instead should send National Guard troops to secure the border. The apparent defeat caps a whirlwind several days

Amid ongoing controversy over its scrutiny of non-profits, the Internal Revenue Service has decided it will no longer screen approximately 80% of the organizations seeking tax-exempt charitable status each year, a change that will ease the creation of small charities while doing away with a review intended to counter fraud and prevent political and other non-charitable groups from misusing the tax code. Hartford, Conn. - Child protection officials say a transgender Connecticut girl who was moved from a women´s prison to a psychiatric center for children has now been relocated to a center for delinquent boys after an assault. Officials said there is no "suitable place" in the juvenile psychiatric center and placed her in the Juvenile Training School in Middletown, Connecticut´s only secure facility for delinquent boys. She is in a single room separated from the boys. The Department of Children and Families said Sunday that the girl assaulted another youth and a staffer and destroyed property the previous night.

Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff got an ‘F’ after the nation’s soccer team lost to Germany. The Pentagon is laying off thousands of military officers, including those serving or who have recently served in Afghanistan. Defense Department officials said the reductions are the result of mandatory spending cuts imposed by sequestration and are part of their larger plan to reduce the number of U.S. soldiers from 520,000 to 450,000. Roughly 2,600 captains and other officers have or will be laid off, with more expected, Fox News learned Friday. The decision to send pink slips to soldiers overseas on active duty is dangerous and bad for morale, says retired Major Gen. Early trials of two different techniques show that a key biomarker for the disease can be identified in the retina and lens of the eye. Both methods were able to distinguish between healthy volunteers and those likely to be suffering from Alzheimer´s patients with a high level of accuracy. Experts said the findings could be a “game changer” in treatment of the condition. So far attempts to find drugs to halt progression of Alzheimer’s disease have failed because patients receiving treatment already suffered too much damage to
