Girl Scout CEO Makes YouTube
Plea Against Cookiecott

Breitbart's Big Government, by Austin Ruse

There is now little doubt that the Girl Scout cookie boycott is having an effect on cookie sales this year. Girl Scout spokesman Kelly Parisi went on The O’Reilly Factor this week to try and defuse the mounting controversy, and Girl Scout executives have sent threatening letters to their critics. Girl Scout CEO Anna Marie Chavez took to YouTube on Thursday to deny all charges leveled by the boycotters and to deny at least one charge they haven’t even made. “Recently, various individuals and organizations announced their intention to boycott GS cookies this year, based on mistaken beliefs about our

I never bought the cookies because they´re grossly overpriced and almost none of the money goes to the scout troops selling them, but I would have stopped along time ago because of their support of causes that have nothing to do with scouting. As the article points out, prior CEOs openly boasted about their relationship with PP. The boycott must be working if they´re resorting to tactics like this. You´d think people would learn: Everything that´s taken over by liberals collapses.

For those who like the Thin Mints: Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips with a tablespoon of shortening. Stir in 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract. Coat Ritz crackers with this mixture. It´s an excellent homemade version.

The little girls become like indentured servants of the Executives at Girl Scouts Inc. They bring in millions of dollars in compensation and bonuses for the upper management, while the Troops get almost nothing in return. The Troops would be better off sitting on the intersection with a sign that says, "Will Scout for Donations."

What makes me sick is that the Girl Scout organization at the top is infiltrated with leftist lesbian-leaning women who want to indoctrinate young girls with "alternative lifestyle" propoganda.

Continue the boycott. When they stop squealing you´ll know it´s safe to release the death grip.

When organizations I support come by selling whatever, I just give a donation to the local organization. It costs me less and the supplier of the "stuff" does not profit from my support.

I haven´t bought GS cookies for many years.
About 20 years ago, my daughter was a scout. Her leader was VERY nice. She took them to some national GS camp above NYC. The camp overbooked. My daughter and her small troop stayed in the ´adult´ building. So the girls get the low-grade facilities and the adult scouts get the nice place with linens etc provided.

I was a girl scout about 100 years ago.
It was super fun. NOTHING political.
The focus was on reading the book, doing good deeds and earning those buttons (which I still have in a jar--most having fallen off my little vest---I never could earn a button for sewing).
The worst thing we had to worry about was leaders that smoked.
Sad the org has fallen so far.

When my daughter, now 23, was a Girl Scout, she went to camp every summer (especially for the horses). They weren´t supposed to bring Bibles, but she did anyway. At night she´d organize a small group, sneak out of the tents and conduct a Bible study. Today...She´s beginning to make a name for herself as a C.S. Lewis scholar.

All they need to do to make up for lost sales is do what one girl scout did set up outside a marijuana shop. If they did that on the left coast and in Colorado I´m sure they would get rid of any leftover cookies. It would be a good life experience for the girl scouts to interact with the drug addled./s

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. The Right Rev. Gene Robinson said in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of Mr. Obama behind a podium at the event: “POTUS ‘preaches’ at the Easter prayer breakfast. Then, out of the blue, asks ME to close with prayer. OMG!” Newsmax said he also emphasized that the words he chose to close the breakfast

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.

With Easter soon approaching, the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday drew parallels between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of President Obama’s political career. Joining the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Mr. Sharpton said that his message for this Easter is that “no matter what the world may do to you unfairly, no matter how you’re crucified — nailed to the cross at home, or in your personal relationships, or on the job — that you can rise if you don’t lose yourself during the hard times and the challenges.” The reverend went on to say that Christ endured so much humiliation and unearned suffering leading up to his death,
