Climate change brings more crime
Los Angeles Times, by Louis Sahagun

Original Article

Posted By:Ribicon, 2/19/2014 8:02:41 PM

A new study broadens a notion held by the earliest criminologists: Periods of higher temperatures -- on an hour-by-hour or week-to-week basis -- are likely to produce more crime. The study by Matthew Ranson of Abt Associates, a research and consulting firm in Cambridge, Mass., suggests global warming will trigger more crimes including murders and rapes over the next century, with social costs estimated to run as high as $115 billion. Between 2010 and 2099, climate change can be expected to cause an additional 22,000 murders, 180,000 cases of rape, 1.2 million aggravated assaults, 2.3 million simple assaults,

Comments:
Global Warming; it slices, dices, removes embarrassing underarm stains, provides excuses for rising crime levels, weakness in the housing and labor markets, you name it! Act now and receive rising sea levels and widespread famine absolutely free!

More apocalyptic prophesies intended to spook the herd and rally declining support for UN devised cures for deadly climate change. These people are just getting warmed up- so to speak. Stand by for a flood of predictions of catastrophe in every venue of human, plant, animal and insect existence.

There is way too much money at stake, too many political agendas at work, too many careers on the line for this cult to fold its tents and steal away in the night. If they don´t succeed in scaring the daylights out of us, it won´t be for lack of trying.

The more and louder they talk, the less I believe them. I don´t believe them at all now. That could be a mistake. They may turn out to be right. But they have destroyed their credibility such propaganda and advocacy politics. Normal people understand that science doesn´t work that way, that something else altogether is going on.

The best thing the cultists could do would be to shut up for a while. Nobody is listening to them but those who already share the faith. They are preaching to their choir - and they are turning the rest of us off every time they open their mouths.

The main crime problem is the theft of tax money by Global Luke Warming researchers. But I´d have to concede that when it´s snowing and colder than Hillary´s thighs most criminals want to stay someplace warm and so the crime rate drops.

These leftists are all doom and gloom.

Global warming:
- Cuts heating bills and reduces power consumption.
- Makes more crops grow in Siberia and Canada.
- Reduces back injuries from shoveling snow.
- Creates jobs in the HVAC and ice making industries.

It´s just a shame that global warming isn´t real, with all of the great things it produces.

As awful as Jimmy Carter´s years were - unaffordable energy for your home, lines at the gas station on the days you were allowed to buy it, neighbors who ate breakfast food for dinner because they couldn´t afford "dinner food" at the grocery, inflation which drove home mortgages into the 20% range, etc.

Malaise simply does not describe how depressed I have become about our We the People situation today. IMHO - we have almost become the twin of the USSR of the ´60´s in terms of our personal freedoms. No real science required. Just proclamations from the elite that rule us.

Fredon — The U.S. Supreme Court will decide on Friday whether it will hear a Sussex County man’s challenge to New Jersey’s handgun carry laws. The lawsuit, brought by John Drake, challenges the “justifiable need” requirement the state asks for carrying a handgun. It has drawn the support of the National Rifle Association and 19 other states, who see the case as a possible watershed moment for reevaluating how the Second Amendment and state regulations interact. The nation’s highest court now has scheduled a conference for Friday morning on whether to decide to hear the case in its entirety, according

Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.
