Obama calls homosexuality one

statement slamming Ugandan bill

LifeSite News, by Ben Johnson

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 17, 2014 – President Barack Obama has elevated the right to have sex with a member of the same sex to the level of universal “fundamental freedoms” in a new presidential statement criticizing Uganda. But critics say his promotion of homosexuality in a continent that overwhelmingly opposes that behavior amounts to a form of liberal “cultural imperialism.” Obama wrote on Sunday that he opposed a proposed bill in Uganda that would criminalize same-sex “marriages” and impose life imprisonment for repeated homosexual acts, among other provisions, because “as a country and a people, the United States has consistently

Obama finally found a red line he can stick with:

Kill all the babies, Christians, and citizens you want. But don´t you dare besmirch one of my favorite protected classes!

If barry had taken advantage of the free opportunity for an education he was given because of affirmative action instead of ditching his classes to snort coke, he would know what´s in the Constitution.

This is just bizarre.

He´s the President for goodness sake. He needs to keep this kind of rambling in stoned late night bull sessions as some kind of punch line. I can see everyone falling to floor in side splitting laughter while Obama pleads his point with, "No, really!" Pass the pipe.

Americans are fundamentally free right now. Leaving morality aside: each of us has the freedom to be as perverse in our sexual practices as one can be, just as long as one is not a danger to self or others.
The lobbyists who are addicted to homosexual behavior, however, want ALL of us to tell ourselves the lie that homosexual behavior is normal.

In 1941, President Roosevelt outlined the Four Freedoms everyone in the world should enjoy:

Freedom of Speech
Freedom of Worship
Freedom of Want
Freedom of Fear

I wonder what FDR would have said when he found out that one of his disciples has just added the fifth freedom, the right to join Rahm Emanuel in a night of frolic in one (or all) of Chicago´s bathhouses.

Just think: Three more years of smartly-reasoned, statesman-like arguments like this.

This has nothing to do with foreign policy and a lot to do with attacking the Catholic Church (a fascist recurring theme). Obambi is setting the stage for eliminating the Catholic Church by proclaim that the church´s rule for priesthood requires people to give up a fundamental right by vowing to never have any (including homosexual) sex. Obambi and his fascist regime would love nothing more than to drag the church up in front of the SCOTUS with its loaded anti-first amendment judges and have the church defend its position that demands people give up their ‘fundamental rights’.

Is it a basic right to be able to marry your sister? Why not? How about a father marrying his adult daughter? Why not? How about a mother marrying her adult son? Why not?

All these are examples of deviant marriages. Why do homosexuals escape this group and why do the examples fall into a group that is banned? Who gets to exempt some practices and accept others?

The reason is because homosexuality is a political constituancy of Democrats. There is nothing that is too immoral, too illegal, too deviant, too anything that will be rejected by Democrats if it has a significant political constituancy.

One rainy morning this month, the man who thought he would be president boarded a train near his beach house in San Diego. ROME - Pope Francis washed the feet of 12 disabled and elderly people Thursday - women and non-Catholics among them - in a pre-Easter ritual designed to show his willingness to serve others like a "slave." Francis´ decision in 2013 to perform the Holy Thursday ritual on women and Muslim inmates at a juvenile detention center helped define his rule-breaking papacy just two weeks after his election. It riled traditionalist Catholics, who pointed to the Vatican´s own regulations that the ritual be performed only on men since Jesus´ 12 apostles were men.

In Detroit´s unfolding saga, the only innocent victims are city residents. So if there is any case for a Motown bailout, it is to make the city more livable for them. However, that seems to be the main goal of neither the Democratic White House nor the state´s Republican governor -- both of whom have come up with nifty new schemes to shovel taxpayer largesse to city retirees. Just two weeks ago, Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr had been threatening to put a buzzsaw to the city´s $3.5 billion unfunded pension liabilities to lop off savings to “invest” in city services. Most voters think the White House is trying to cover-up what happened in Benghazi and want Congress to continue to investigate the administration’s handling of the attack on the U.S. consulate there that killed four Americans. That’s according to a Fox News poll released Thursday. Sixty percent of voters want lawmakers to keep investigating what happened in Benghazi. A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.
