Way more than a smidgen:

Fox News, by Chris Stirewalt

Vulnerable Democrats facing an onslaught of conservative cash this cycle are calling for the IRS to crack down on nonprofit groups expressing political views. The Senate Democrats seeking the crackdown were quick to say that the heavy hand of the tax agency should fall on “either side,” but they pretty clearly are thinking about the conservative groups currently pummeling them for passing and preserving ObamaCare. And if the new rules sought by Obama Democrats were to work anything like the non-codified targeting that went on at the agency in the last two election cycles, liberal groups would have little to

The protests are meaningless until we start denying them our money. Without tax dollars, the entire government is helpless.

The pallid face of Lois Lerner will be the image of the first two decades of the 21st century the way Flagg´s Uncle Sam represented WWI and Rosie the Riveter in WWII.

She is the bloodless embodiment of the ideologically-driven technocrat, steeped in leftist doctrine and freely, even eagerly, using the power of her agency and office to persecute those designated as enemies of the state. Her system of reinforcement - friends, family, colleagues - is so pervasive and complete that even today she believes she has done nothing wrong. In fact, she still believes her cause is just and that the reaction of the public and Congress is just for show.

But Lerner, as an individual or an avatar, is but one snake in the Great Dismal DC Swamp. Every Prius-driving, rainbow-stickered, Ready For Hillary, swipe-carding, comfort-waisted waddling bureaucrat (think the IRS line dancing video) shares her worldview and endorses her tactics. They may lack the individual clout to fire the big guns but that doesn´t mean they aren´t happy to supply the ammo.

Wouldn´t it be delicious to not file your taxes this year? After all, they can´t arrest all of us who are working. On second thought, I forgot about the FEMA camps they say they don´t have.

The Federal Government is a criminal enterprise.

No private sector company or organization would survive operating in the manner in which they do. Even "insider trading" is considered, "OK," for Congressmembers and staffers, whereas it is a Federal crime for private citizens, which they will enforce cases in point - Martha Stewart and Mark Cuban.

The Federal Government is entirely corrupt, incompetent, and overweight, and will never "reform" itself. The 50 States need to gang up and retake control of the Federal government. Afterall, it exists because of them, not the other way around.

It is true that the government cannot function without ´our´ money. If we all with held our taxes they couldn´t put us all in camps! Then all future money would be gone as well. It just might work!

#6, unfortunately, the majority of the population has their taxes automatically withheld for the government to use "interest free". Hence, we subservient peons must submit a plea for any refunds owed us. To truly deny the government money we should all become self-employed or unemployed as major companies WILL withhold those funds of their employees.

Push for a Fair Tax or a Flat tax..abolish the IRS. A Fair Tax strips the Federal gov´t of power, and there will no longer be a need for lobbyists either..how´s that for a plus?
Time for Article V, a convention of States to take back their power from the Feds.
State Legislatures will control it. DC is OUT of the picture.

Key members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform expressed outrage at revelations made in newly released emails showing ex-IRS official Lois Lerner coordinating with the Department of Justice on prosecuting nonprofit groups. One committee member said the emails prove why the IRS is “scared to give up the rest of Lois Lerner’s emails.” IRS commissioner John Koskinen was recently threatened with contempt for stonewalling the committee’s investigation. Koskinen claimed in a hearing that it could take years to provide the documents requested by Oversight.

Firewall One. The open (or mostly open, until the Walsh appointment) seats in Romney states: Montana, West Virginia, and South Dakota. Firewall Two. The remaining Romney state seats where Republicans must face Democrat incumbents: Arkansas, North Carolina, Louisiana, Alaska. Firewall Three. Ukraine doesn’t seem like the kind of place that world powers would want to tussle over. It’s as poor as Paraguay and as corrupt as Iran. During the 20th century it was home to a deadly famine under Stalin (the Holomodor, 1933), a historic massacre of Jews (Babi Yar, 1941), and one of the world’s worst nuclear disasters (Chernobyl, 1986). Now, with former President Viktor Yanukovych in hiding, it’s struggling to form a government, its credit rating is down to CCC, a recession looms, and foreign reserves are running low. The economic news from Tehran is good—good, that is, if you are a state sponsor of terror moving toward a nuclear weapons program. If on the other hand you were hoping that sanctions might persuade the Iranians to cease and desist, the news is disastrous. Since the Obama administration relaxed sanctions on Iran, oil sales are up 25 percent, from 1.06 million barrels per day to 1.32 million, and the White House reportedly has no intention of preventing the rise in sales and consequent swelling of Revolutionary Guard bank accounts. And that’s not all. The leading economic indicators show an

Many local police departments already use license-plate readers that track every car as it passes traffic signals or pole-mounted cameras. Soros Fund Management has doubled up a bet that the S&P 500 SPX is headed for a fall. Within Friday’s 13F filings news was the revelation that the firm, founded by legendary investor George Soros, increased a put position on the S&P 500 ETF SPY +0.10% by a whopping 154% in the fourth quarter, compared with the third. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. Climate change’s latest casualty appears to be fish — or more specifically, fish brains — as researchers say the carbon dioxide that’s being absorbed into the ocean is causing the scaly creatures to lose their survival instincts. In other words, the fish are losing their minds, The Daily Mail reported. The acid from atmospheric carbon dioxide seeps into sea waters, dissolves and ultimately lowers the pH balance, researchers said. The acidic waters then hamper the fishes’ sensory systems, so they’re not able to distinguish between smells any longer, the scientists went on. When the acid levels get really high, the fish lose their
