GOP Reps Grill Boehner On Amnesty
Breitbart´s Big Government, by Matthew Boyle

Original Article

Posted By:mikkins2, 2/15/2014 7:52:11 AM

Other than the basic fact that he dearly wants a bill, Speaker John Boehner´s specific plans on immigration have remained shrouded in mystery since the 2012 elections. Now two key immigration hawks are pressing him for answers in a letter you might mistake as coming from Darrell Issa to Kathleen Sebelius. Reps. Walter Jones (R-NC) and Mo Brooks (R-AL) sent Boehner, House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, and the rest of the House GOP leadership team a letter asking ten detailed questions about Boehner´s immigration policies. The questions include requests for greater detail about some of the planks in the immigration

Comments:
To take a page out of the anti-Cruz playbook...

Whats the plan Mr.Boehner?!

Why is Mr. Boehner hiding the details?
Why should we trust Mr. Boehner and the Republican Establishment to enforce the laws anymore than we should trust Mr.Obama?

Got Tea?

P.S. Cruz´s plan is simple and he said it often; Cut spending and reduce the debt, not ignore debt limits or vote to override them. If you are confused by this, either are a simpleton or just support people not interested in reducing spending or debt.

IF for any reason any one of you GOPERS bother to read this post......I´ll hit you between the eyes with this truth. IF AMNESTY is pushed through.....YOU......GOP will no longer be needed .....not ever again! So go ahead, be a DAMN FOOL and sell out. Maybe then you can take your billions and retire somewhere while the Communists and Islam takes over this nation. But IF any one of you has any kind of intellect and self-preservation, then you might get some guts and stand up and fight against this until you get control of the House and Senate and take our country back from the Communists and Islam and all who hate USA...and build this country up again and at that time, we can all take care of the Illegals and immigration ONCE you are in Control for good not evil. (I hope).

It´s just beyond me why any Republican thinks giving amnesty to millions and millions of illegals would give them those votes. The only way that could happen is to ´out freebie´ the Rats. And guess who gets to pay for all of that? Hey GOP, WE´RE out here too, you know!

The GOP has provided the votes to pass and fund all of of Obama´s legislation. The GOP could have stopped it. John Roberts could have stopped it. The GOP needs to be held accountable, starting with a purge of the GOP leadership.

First, based on his skin tone, I´d say Boehner is already pretty grilled. Second, those who thought this issue would work to the advantage of the Republicans were hopelessly naive. To take a page from OP´s playbook:

What were Boehner and Ryan thinking? What was their end game? Everyone knows the base will never support legalizing what is plainly and clearly illegal; yet Boehner and Ryan were willing to disrupt party unity over this one issue. This will cost Republicans crucial votes in the upcoming elections and may jeopardize our efforts to retake the Senate. This kind of irresponsible adolescent behavior on the part of the GOP establishment and it´s supporters only helps the Democrats. Boehner and Ryan are only in it for themselves, and anyone who supports them is helping Obama.

Did I get all the anti-Cruz talking points worked in there, ladies?

Instead of grilling him the GOP reps should have asked for his resignation. Let him sing Zippy Dee Doo Dah when he is sent packing! I don´t care if the door hits his backside on the way out. He needs to be replaced now not next year. He´s a disgrace as Speaker of the House!

Don´t the republicans realize that if they pass any immigration bill, no matter what is in it, it will be touted by the Democrats as, in effect, an amnesty bill? The Dems know that if that charge has the slightest ring of truth to it, it will kill the conservative vote for the Republicans in the November elections. If the Republicans pass any immigration bill they will put themselves in the position of having to explain it away for the next 10 months while they should be highlighting the inequities of Obamacare. If they pass any immigration bill they are truly idiots.

When you govern w/o principle you tout amnesty masquerading as ´immigration reform´. Since Mexico, a thoroughly racist country, wants no part of their exploding brown populace; they encourage them to emigrate. And what added value do they create for the USA. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! The vast majority are illiterate, uneducated and have nothing but the menial skills of an agrarian labor intensive economy. As such they are prime
candidates for welfare. The GOP is in the mortal grip of a death spiral as long as it is led by a manifest clown like Boehner.

Cliven Bundy marched into my life one Friday morning in January 1992 in a protest bound for a federal courthouse in Las Vegas. He held up one side of a street-width banner that asked, “Has the West been won or has the fight just begun?” To my great relief, just as Bundy promised, nearly 200 ranchers from all over the state marched behind him, yelling “Property rights!” Nearly a mile later, the marchers fell silent and filed into the courtroom where Wayne Hage of Pine Creek Ranch faced arraignment for the felony of cleaning brush out of his ditches without a

The Republican challenger to Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., thinks nobody should spend 47 years in Washington. Dr. Milton Wolf, a diagnostic radiologist from the Kansas City area, on Wednesday released a television ad criticizing Roberts for his nearly five decades in the nation´s capital. "After 47 years in Washington, Kansas is a distant memory for Pat Roberts," the ad opens, before pivoting to Wolf´s daily routine as a Kansas doctor. The ad goes on to mention Wolf´s plan to "repeal and replace Obamacare," "fight wasteful spending" and pass congressional term limits. After his tenure, Wolf´s ad promises, he´ll return home to Kansas.

I love that picture from the Bundy Ranch. You know the one that I’m talking about: I’m talking about all of them. I love the horn-handed Cowboys, with real, honest trail dirt on them; I love the American flags; I love the sagebrush; and I love the rebellion-- as in civil, non-violent disobedience. And the question now is, where does this go? Rebellion typically starts after a period of lassitude and hopelessness in the face of overwhelming power. Populations spend years, even decades muttering under their breath about abuses of power, but feel ineffectual to enact real reform. Then one bright day, a fruit stand

There is a culture of sleaze in Washington that´s worse than ever. Too-big, all-powerful government not only cripples the freedoms of the regular people who have to live under it, it also creates a whole shadow infrastructure dedicated to working it to the advantage of the elite and the connected. Three recent stories illustrate the point: Matt Continetti´s piece about the divorce of lobbyists Tony and Heather Podesta shows how connected insiders can make out like bandits in Obama´s Washington. By now most people are familiar with the potentially deadly situation emerging at the Bundy ranch in Nevada. Right now, the back-story is not nearly as important as the immediate necessity to de-escalate this life-and liberty threatening situation, although it does play an important role and must be addressed. The fact that this situation could have been pulled from the script of the 1974 movie Chinatown or any of the Godfather movies is well known and must be exposed, but not before immediate action is taken to assure the preservation of life and liberty. Two of Nevada’s top elected leaders are riding to the rescue of a rancher whose decades-long range war with the federal government has reached a boiling point in recent days. The federal Bureau of Land Management has surrounded the Clark County ranch of Cliven Bundy with armed officers, helicopters and four-wheel drive vehicles. Last week, they began seizing cattle found grazing on adjacent federal lands in violation of a law meant to protect an endangered desert tortoise. “No cow justifies the atmosphere of intimidation which currently exists nor the limitation of constitutional rights that are sacred to all Nevadans.”

In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
