Archbishop: ´The More That Gov´t
Mandates Evil Actions, The More
Likely Civil Disobedience Becomes´

Cybercast News Service, by Barbara Hollingsworth

Calling the Obama administration “the most tone deaf to religious liberty issues in recent memory,” Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput warned that religious freedom in the U.S. is “at risk,” and that “the more government mandates evil action, the more likely civil disobedience becomes.” Last February, Chaput urged his fellow prelates to take the “right action…whatever the cost” regarding the Health and Human Services’ contraceptive mandate, which requires nearly all insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act to pay for sterilization, contraceptives, and abortion-inducing drugs.

The very last lines of the Manhattan Declaration read "We will fully and ungrudgingly render to Caesar what is Caesar’s. But under no circumstances will we render to Caesar what is God’s." I think that is the way Christians must think and act. By the way, the few sentences before that are "Because we honor justice and the common good, we will not comply with any edict that purports to compel our institutions to participate in abortions, embryo-destructive research, assisted suicide and euthanasia, or any other anti-life act; nor will we bend to any rule purporting to force us to bless immoral sexual partnerships, treat them as marriages or the equivalent, or refrain from proclaiming the truth, as we know it, about morality and immorality and marriage and the family." If you haven´t read and signed the Manhattan Declaration I urge you to do so.

That´s what the statists forget: trash the Constitution, and the people will resort to other measures, starting with civil disobedience.

The mood of the people has certainly reached a level that can erupt at any moment in acts of civil disobedience. The question is, what will that last straw be?

As a general rule, we conservatives are the ones who follow rules. We watched the leftists break laws and commit acts of civil disobedience or worse and thought we could never stoop to that. But here we are. We know it has to be done. We know the current regime and its enablers will not relinquish the power and the illegal gains they´ve made. And we know our representatives are too cowardly and too complicit to help us.

So, yes, the time has come. The only question is when and where that spark will finally ignite.

Do not count on the Supreme Court to rule in favor of true religious freedom. Recall this was the crew who turned the medical bill into a tax so it could go forward. Church officials better prepare to shut Catholic schools and hospitals if they truly wish to retain their faith.

Civil disobedience is about to begin and the gov´t knows it.
One must ask:
1. Why is the gov´t buying billions of bullets and urban warfare vehicles?
2. Why is the gov´t implementing cameras and tracking nationwide?
3. Why is the gov´t conducting secret courts?
4. Why is the gov´t monitoring every communication?
5. Why is the gov´t conducting political operations against conservative organizations?
6. Why is the gov´t lying and covering up everything?
7. Why is the gov´t trying to control the internet?
8. Why is the gov´t assaulting and harassing individuals?
9. Why is the gov´t threatening our every action?
10. Why is the gov´t training the National Guard to combat 2nd amendment supporters?
11. Why is the gov´t establishing a ready reserve military force?
12. Why is the gov´t colluding with foreign military for operations within the US borders?

In Romans 13, Christians are commanded to be obedient to rulers and laws; however, there is the matter of a believer’s conscience (Verse 5). In Acts 5:29, the high priest demands that Peter and the apostles not teach in the name of Jesus. Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.”

Although Christians are commanded to be obedient to rulers and laws in things lawful and honorable, depending on consideration of circumstances, Christians are commanded to resist when authorities “…walk contrary to the divine counsels or commandments.”

#5 -- A substantial fraction of U.S. hospitals are owned and/or operated by the Catholic Church. Closing them plays into this Godless administration’s hands, forcing patients to seek care and treatment elsewhere – worst case, think the V.A., writ punitively large – or to languish and die for lack of care and treatment.

Bill Ayers proudly proclaimed his willingness to kill 25 million U.S. citizens in order to ensure the ideological purity of a post-Alinsky America. He was, comparatively speaking, thinking far too small.

Yet the church continues to support government growth and its taking over responsibilities formerly left to the church and its followers. One wonders why church leaders do not get that the more powerful government becomes the more government will use that power against anyone that stands in its way-including the church. It´s difficult to watch this all playing out in slow motion.

In a new study, researchers found an increased risk of multiple sclerosis (MS) among women who have taken oral contraceptives. However, the findings do not mean women should stop using birth control, the researchers say. Utilizing membership data from Kaiser Permanente Southern California, researchers analyzed the health records of 305 women aged 14 to 48 who were diagnosed with MS or its precursor, clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), between 2008 and 2011. They looked at the women’s birth control use up to three years prior to the onset of MS symptoms. Overall, researchers found a 30 percent increased risk of developing

Previous administrations had done the same thing with complicated new laws, they said, and the slow-motion rollout of the sprawling health care law was sure to encounter more problems

Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either.
