Obama to pitch $1B climate

President Obama will pitch a new $1 billion climate change resilience fund during a visit Friday to California. The fund, which would need to be approved by Congress, is intended to help communities dealing with negative weather that´s the result of climate change. Obama is touting the fund during a trip to California, which has been devastated by a drought that is threatening the Central Valley´s agriculture production and has led Gov. Jerry Brown (D) to call on Californians to conserve water. During a call with reporters on Thursday evening, the assistant to the president on science and technology, John Holdren, said, without

Climate change, my big BUTT!

I spent 4 hours today with a 13 HP snowblower, just trying to get out to the road, etc.

The GW extremists need to be rounded up. Can´t afford to live with these crazies any more. They will kill us all.

Let the Sierra Club pay for it. Meanwhile, all Californians should stop drinking water, bathing and filling swimming pools.

It´s only my money being take as taxes.

And now CBS is reporting that all the adverse weather across the US is being caused by excessive heat elsewhere in the world.

Well, no, because:
´"Weather practically everywhere is being caused by climate change," Holdren said.´
So it´s always the result of climate change.

Progressives blew up all the dams intentionally sending the water out to sea... to create this crisis & force humans off all rural & suburban land. They need the $1B to build the Sustainable Living high rise Human Ant Farms, along the BART stations.

On Youtube, there are videos of Progressives aka Greenies in the SF Bay area, notifying rural community dwellers that they will be taking their land & moving them to Ant Farms.
Residents seem to be in shock.

Needs another slush fund to payoff supporters who will then turn some of the tax money back in campaign contributions to the Dem party. Just another money laundering scheme to purchase votes. He learned it all in Chicago where the winner of elections gets the spoils of tax revenue to spread around thereby keeping a political machine going.

O´bumbler is short on his scientific studies. He did not do too well in science either, got a D-. So now he wants to change Global Warming to Climate Change.

And I agree, the climate changes daily, the stupid fool. However if you look at the weather patterns for the last 100 years, you see no significant change at all.

NASA, the JPL, The scholars form Cambridge and the man who invented the internet, Al Gore, had to falsify the numbers to fit their story.

Now they want us to believe that Climate Change is happening and will doom us if we do not participate in their Carbon Credit scheme.

But we all know that the Global climate changes daily. But the actual cummulative change for the last 100 - 200 years is statistically insignificant.

So the Climate Changeologist are frauds, simpletons selling snake oil. What a bunch of maroons.

Last week the rain and snow raised the water level in Lake Tahoe 5". The snow in the Western Sierras melts in the spring and summer, and most of that water goes into the Sacramento River, then to San Francisco Bay. Some of it used to get diverted into the California Aqueduct, irrigating the Central Valley.

That was before the Smelt complained. Well, maybe not the smelt themselves, but the greenie lawyers. So tell the smelt they are going to have to fend for themselves and send that water to the Central Valley. Taxpayers paid for the California Aqueduct, not the smelt.

Problem solved.

#12 – ”Last week the rain and snow raised the water level in Lake Tahoe 5 inches” --

Sadly, that’s not the case. Our chief deputy water master, Chad Blanchard, said yesterday that the rain and sleet that interspersed the heavy snowfalls did not affect the lake greatly. "If there´s a little bit of rain it absorbs in the snow... There was not enough to run through the snow; you would need a lot of rain to melt the snow on the ground."

The elevation of the lake’s natural surface is 6,223 feet, and after fluctuating during the last ten days of rain and snow and whatnot, on Tuesday this week it settled at 6,223.05 feet – or 1/20th of a foot above normal, which however is below average for January and February. Although the recent storms nearly doubled the water content of the regional snowpack (bringing it up to 117% of normal), we’re still 50% below what we need in order to make up for the last three dry years.

Raising the lake level 5 inches would require 10 miles x 22 miles x 5 inches of water, or about 58,670 acre-feet (just over 19 billion gallons, or 72 million cubic meters – that is, about 2.5 times the volume of water released in the Johnstown Flood).

Fish are losing their survival instinct as the world´s oceans become more acidic because of climate change, researchers have claimed. The study confirms laboratory experiments showing that the behavior of reef fishes can be seriously affected by increased carbon dioxide concentrations in the ocean. Carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere is absorbed into ocean waters, where it dissolves and lowers the pH of the water. The new study is the first to analyze the sensory impairment of fish from CO2 seeps, where pH is similar to what climate models forecast for surface waters by the turn of the century. ´These results verify our laboratory

WASHINGTON - Americans increasingly think Democrats have a better plan for healthcare than Republicans, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted after the White House announced that more people than expected had signed up for the "Obamacare" health plan. Nearly one-third of respondents in the online survey released on Tuesday said they prefer Democrats´ plan, policy or approach to healthcare, compared to just 18 percent for Republicans. This marks both an uptick in support for Democrats and a slide for Republicans since a similar poll in February. Big Government: The Congressional Budget Office warns of a terrifying, unprecedented level of national debt in the coming decade. That fits nicely with Democrats´ objectives, but not with our nation´s founding principles. Andrew Jackson, who in 1835 succeeded in paying off the national debt, was famous for considering debt slavery. The current fiscal path the U.S. is on does indeed lead to slavery, but the slave masters of the future will be well-heeled politicians and federal bureaucrats, not plantation owners. How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.
