Impeach President Obama?
Power Line, by Paul Mirengoff

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/12/2014 1:42:09 PM

As Steve has just argued, if Mitt Romney had been elected president and then proceeded to rewrite Obamacare on his alleged executive authority, Democrats would probably be screaming for his impeachment. So should Republicans be screaming for President Obama’s impeachment? John says no: Technically, President Obama’s misuse of executive agencies to harass his political opponents and his usurpation of Congress’s powers by purporting to rewrite statutes by executive decree–the Obamacare changes are not the only instances–are grounds for impeachment. These are, in fact, precisely the sorts of abuses for which the impeachment remedy was intended, and for which no other remedy is

His answer is not impeaching 0bama now, but not ruling it out. He is looking to he Supreme Court to punish 0bama. It´s so disturbing what 0bama is getting away with.

His actions betray that he is begging to be impeached. This is just about the only thing that would energize his base.

I ask you, what would be Obama´s preference if he had a choice, impeachment or being a lame duck? I submit he would prefer impeachment if it gave him power (ie, democrat control of Congress).

#2, Dingy Harry does not have any say in impeachment. The House impeaches and the Senate decides the outcome. The House impeached Slick Willie and the Senate let him off.

That said, let´s keep talk of impeachment until it has a chance of success. The chance of winning control of the Senate would vanish in a heartbeat with the media in zero´s corner. Now is not the time, justified or not.

I don´t think the lo info voters understand that as easily as obama is changing the law for his buddies he can just as easily change the gov supplements for obamacare. Once it´s fully implemented he can drop the supplements. Then what will the folks do, they aren´t important enough to get any breaks .

A group of 195 Democratic members of Congress on Tuesday sent a letter to President Obama urging him to sign an executive order banning federal contractors from discriminating based on sexual orientation. The group, which includes 47 senators and 148 House members, wrote that Obama should fulfill his State of the Union address promise by making this a “year of action.” Spearheaded by Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.), the letter said the order would be another step in furthering his "legacy as a champion for [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] equality." President Obama came under mounting pressure on Tuesday to take tougher steps against Moscow amid criticism that the U.S. response to Russia’s intervention in Ukraine has been too weak. Calls for more muscular actions, from expelling Russia from the Group of Eight to offering military support to Ukraine, came as Russia’s stock market rallied and the ruble gained value a day after Obama authorized an initial round of sanctions meant to punish the Russian economy. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) called on Obama to “reassess” his entire approach to Russia, while 2012 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney criticized Obama’s foreign policy

Just another reminder that Obama really has no opposition to the left. Their only disagreement is the speed at which terrorists are enabled and national security is dismantled. Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson met with leaders of the terrorist support group Code Pink at Homeland Security headquarters in Washington, D.C. on Monday. Code Pink’s allies since the group’s founding in 2002 have included Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, the Taliban, al Qaeda (various branches) and members of the Weather Underground. Code Pink has also allied itself with the terrorist governments of Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Code

Eighty-three senators banded together today to demand that President Obama meet core principles, including clear consequences, in any final nuclear agreement with Iran. The letter was spearheaded by Sens. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.). The sheer number of senators on board serves as a warning call to the administration that they have the support to override a presidential veto on tougher Iran sanctions. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who held up a sanctions vote at the request of the White House, was not among the signatories.

She and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have been on the national stage for more than two decades -- traveling from Arkansas to the White House to the Senate to the 2008 campaign trail and finally to the State Department. During that time, every look and utterance from Hillary has been examined, then examined again, then analyzed, then overanalyzed.
