Obama´s Fate
American Thinker, by J.R. Dunn

Original Article

Posted By:thudlike, 2/12/2014 4:50:16 AM

It´s no surprise that Barack Obama´s authoritarian streak is revealing itself at last. It was always there; clearly apparent in his rhetoric (e.g., his envy of Chinese president Xi Jin-ping´s powers), his abuse of executive orders, his threats against Congress, his sultan with fly-whisk attitudes toward his opposition, and even his vacations, which reek more of third-world trash gamboling on the Riviera than any American leader (George W. Bush settled his mind by clearing brush in Texas, Reagan at his ranch in Santa Barbara. Obama unfortunately finds the brush already cleared in Martha´s Vineyard and Hawaii.)

Only the administration knows the terrible truth about Obamacare. I am worried that it is so bad that the only hope that Obama has of securing a 2014 democratic house is to entice them to try to impeach him.

I suspect that this is the real game that Obama is playing. He is angling to get a diversion from Obamacare (his own impeachment) and get the lo-fo´s stirred up to turn out in 2014.

No, #2, He is just that arrogant !!!

I expect him to actually not want to leave in 2016, and try to pull something to become Dictator !!!

Look at all the behind the scenes stuff going on, the Govt agencies are all heavily buying ammo, the National Guard is training for use against 2nd amendment protestors.

HE thinks he is KING !!!! And acting like one.

Allowing a Muslim Caliphate in the US is on his list of things to do !!!

Don´t expect him to leave the palace !!!!

I´m not quite so optimistic as Mr. Dunn. He wrote this:

Many on the right insist that they know the answer to that: that it will go all the way, that the jackboots will begin stomping, the barbed wire will go up, the Constitution will vanish and the commonwealth, under the thumb of President-for-Life Obama the First, will subside into third-world lassitude, violence, and corruption.

The "jackboots" and "barbed wire" have already come to pass: the IRS preventing conservatives from forming 401C3´s, the EPA´s onerous regulations, the NSA´s intrusiveness, the confiscatory taxes that have led to the highest number of Americans giving up their US citizenship in our history.

As for the Constitution, it may as well not exist; Obama does ends runs around Congress, then ignores the laws they pass. His is thoroughly lawless.

"...the commonwealth, under the thumb of President-for-Life Obama the First, will subside into third-world lassitude," -- have you noticed that the number of people on welfare is (deliberately) the highest it has ever been? That looks like "third-word lassitude" to these eyes.

"...violence, and corruption" -- have you noticed that crimes are not punished in certain neighborhoods and ignored in other more wealthy strata, and that corruption is rampant from precincts to the White House?

The only thing Dunn mentioned in the quote above that has not yet happened is that Obama isn´t "President for Life". Yet. But how many of his original promises have been kept?

...continued

Promises Obama has kept or plans to:
How about "fundamentally transforming" America? He kept that one.
How about "spreading the wealth"? He kept that one.
How about "rewarding your friends and punishing your enemies"? He kept that one.
How about, "I can do anything I want." He hasn´t yet been stopped.
How about "In a conflict, I will side with Muslims"?
How about "I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money."
How about "I am not in favor of concealed weapons."
How about "But I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. "
How about "We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times."
How about "I don’t believe it is possible to transcend race in this country."
How about "I can no more disown (Jeremiah Wright) than I can disown the black community."

Every one of those quotes follows the same worldview: "I am king. You will do as I say or you will suffer for it."

Dunn´s AT article is a great synopsis of our current plight. He left out all of the ammunition HSA has and now the IRS. What about all of the military personnel who have been removed.

Something bad is in the wind that is under the radar of America. When O makes his move, it will be swift and violent.

We are still a nation of laws. But for how much longer. The 2014 election is vital. We have to take back the Senate. There is no mulligan here and of course keep the house. When that happens, there is a much better chance to freeze this nonsense and start dismantling it. But it is up to Americans to flex their muscles at the polls.

If we don´t, we are going to get the government we ALL deserve because those who could make a difference sat back and refused to do so.

For those who laughed their way through Article II, the Twenty Second Amendment is no barrier. All those planning their politics on the assumption that the Kenyan will vacate office in Jan ´16 without a murmur are in for a rude surprise. The drumbeat will likely start on Wed morning after the ´14 election.

He just spent 10 paragraphs telling us 0 wants to be a third-world strongman dictator, and NOW we´re protected by a piece of paper?!

Beautifully-written piece.

It seems like a stretch to me, though, to assert that the political ethos of Indonesia somehow seeped into Obama´s subconscious before he was old enough to even begin paying attention to it(much less to have any idea what he was seeing or hearing).

I´m more inclined to look to his adolescent and collegiate influences as the primary formative factors.

I disagree with the author. Obama learned his despise the USA, corrupt, power-mad thinking right here in the USA, at the knees of the liberals. His formal education (really, does anyone think he attended class or did the work?)in the idiot zones of ivy league colleges, paid for by the saudis, added to his contempt for my country and the idea to transform it into a banana republic..
As for staying longer than this reign? He doesn´t have to. It is evident we have people of the same caliber on both sides of the aisles. And THAT was caused by the really bad suggestion to hold our nose and vote for a liberal republican.

I´m with #14. It was Westerners who shaped Obama and carried his so called career -- his family, Frank Marshall Davis, whoever identified his gifts early on and cleared his path in education and politics, Rev. Wright, Ayers.

Beyond sticking out like a sore thumb in Indonesia and playing with friends like the family´s tranny help, Obama wasn´t observing and learning the local politics.

The wonder of our current situation with Obama is that the Supreme Court hasn´t weighed in. It isn´t because valiant attorneys haven´t tried to get the Justices to hear about Obama´s abuse of his power. Even those Justices appointed by Democrat Presidents should be outraged by Obama´s crossing the line of Executive power. Do the Justices still believe in the U.S Constitution - the document they were sworn to uphold above all else? What am I missing?

Excellent article by J.R. Dunn - I would expect nothing less.

It has to be westerners who taught Obama, because most of the rest of the world already tried left-wing radical socialism / communism and KNOWS it does not work. In fact, communism leads to mass deaths and financial ruin. Poverty for all (but the Great Leader).

Obama isn´t going anywhere if a Dem (Hillary!) isn´t elected in 2016. All these unilateral actions via executive orders, the cheap and nasty attacks on his legitimate political opposition (and the silence of a response by Republican leadership)is just Obama seeing how far he can go. And right now, he can do whatever he wants. As Mark Levin says, we are experiencing a silent coup.

And the problem for us, We The People, is that we have come to expect our elected representatives to represent us - instead we should be manning the barricades in the streets, but too much work, I guess.

Obama is strictly a creation of the Republican political class. This isn´t anything new. They gave us Obama to begin with, paved the way for him. The GOP political class has brutally attacked their voting base for over a decade. The Bush people running the party are focused on a new and different voting base, ie the democrat voting base. They´re focused on a voting base of people who like big gov. and are dependent on it. They want Obama voters. They had no intention of winning in 2006, 2008, 2010, or 2012. We finally figured this out and fooled them in 2010. They´re still enraged about all those people we gave them in Nov. 2010. Top Boehner ally LaTourette has said, that´s when all the trouble started. I´m not interested in Obama. I´m interested in the inside story of the Republicans.

I´ll climb aboard the #12, 14, 16 bandwagon. I suspect the likes of "Pops" his parents and a quest for an authentic identity as one of the cool kids defines him.

I think he´s in love more with his celebrity cool persona than ideology and that he is just a pawn in the globalist totalitarian coup. I do not expect him to pull a blatant stunt in 2016 but we’re more likely to see “the movement” to do whatever it takes. I also expect them to continue to be treading lightly to avoid waking us up until such time that they have a perceived irreversible level of power they need not fear an awakening. Or possibly we do wake up in time and the pendulum swings gently back to sanity look out! They have a taste of victory are very close to that critical mass point, I don’t expect them to go away lightly.

I am a big fan of Alan Furst, Phillip Kerr and David Downing authors who write historical fiction centering on Europe, Germany and Hitler during the lead up to WWII.

How so many Germans and Jews complained about the Gestapo, SD, etc. but never thought that Hitler was that dangerous because, after all, he was democratically elected.

Sadly (and eerily) we know how it turned out.

The ugly truth is that Obama fully intends to leave the White House ... after he hands the baton to Hillary or someone willing to continue his work and retain many of his minions in positions of power. By then he should have 5 votes on the Supreme Court and his work will be almost done, namely making us look like Europe. He will then stay in Washington and become a power broker, a henchman lobbyist. I honestly believe he is only interested in destroying the wealthy and punishing America. He´s way too lazy to be a dictator.

I believe zero was mentored and groomed his whole life for this opportunity. My theory is that all that was required of him was to prepare for the role, and do as they say and let others handle his biography and provide him cover.

The radical left has embedded itself in all the government agencies, the education system, the courts, the media, and now, even the military command structure.

Even the entertainment industry has provided the useful idiots plenty of distractions so our loss of liberties goes, for most of us, unnoticed.

Maybe I have a shiny tin foil hat on, but I don´t think the NSA needs all of our communications to chase terrorists, too many trees hide the forest. I am of the theory that the NSA has the information needed to keep their people in line as well as to arm twist opponents at crucial times.

We may still have a majority of honest people in our service, but the control is in the wrong hands. Their only concern now is more Snowden-like leaks that expose their matrix. A knife is a tool for a chef and a weapon for a terrorist.

I was unaware of 0bama´s envy of Chinese president Xi Jin-ping´s powers until I read this. It´s certainly not surprising. 0bama´s behavior is not at all surprising because of his history. A young child absorbs information like a sponge, whether he is conscientiously aware of it or not. He was molded by his Communist mother as a child and by his surroundings in Indonesia, his anti-American father and was further shaped by his exposure to Davis and the rest of the Communists he associated with while living with his grandparents. I truly hope Mr. Dunn is correct that "the collapse will come, like a sudden clash of cymbals" and the furies will be unleashed. It is not idle talk to say the upcoming election is critical to our survival as a nation. I feel so helpless, angry and frustrated that there is little I can do other than call my reps and vote which I have done.

I think what the author means by implying we are protected by the constitution is that at some point he will go too far and that after some incident everyone simultaneously will realize he has to be stopped because he is invalidating the constitution (the font of our freedoms) and at that point they will become activist. Frankly I think Obama believes that will happen too and that´s the reason why he has been buying up tons and tons of weapons and ammunition . . . to deprive his potential opposition, the people, from arming themselves and to arm his potential defenders. I don´t think he´ll push for that point to be reached (after all he is aware of the inevitable fate of those third world dictators) but he´s treading a path along the precipice and he´s preparing for that possibility.

It seems inconceivable, especially on the anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln’s birth, that America has descended to the level of whale dung in the contrasting transition to its present Executive Branch.

J.R. Dunn’s excellently crafted wakeup call attracted my attention primarily with these five words: “…a terrified and obedient opposition…” Is that what we are? I know I’m not; and I dare say the vast (silent as well as vocal) majority of us are not either.

One possibility that has not been mentioned in the article or the comments is that of a major terrorist act created by the government that results in a declaration of martial law and a demand by the lo-fos to be Protected.

In Venezuela the Congress voted for the President to have "temporarily" expanded law making powers. Once given he never relinquished them. Does anyone think a Democrat majority wouldn´t make the same mistake?

Obama had hoped to take the House and keep the Senate. Without massive fraud, that will probably fail. Since he will not be given the power he will look for other ways. Exploiting a national emergency would be a logical choice. As we all know, he has been co-opting government bureaus (IRS, DHS, FBI, et al) and building infrastructure under the radar.

I hope those on our side have a plan.

Despite the censored brainwashing of news actors Brian

Tea Party strength, class action suits, whistleblowing, leaks, conservative libertarian best sellers are all beginning to blast out in 2014 ! The world is turning against communism, socialism and fascism and moving
Into a new era of freedom and voluntary exchange
And creative citizens are individually uniquely, leading the way.

No. 12, don´t forget the Muslim education Barry got in an Indonesian elementary school. It wasn´t a madrassah, but it was a school under Mohammed Suharto´s government, and he was listed as a Muslim pupil. Several years of Muslim prayers five times a day and fervent praise of General Suharto without doubt had their effect.

Pretty good article. Yet another analogy is Caligula. Obama is just ignorant, lazy, and rude. He hasn´t the foggiest idea what his job duties are, and when he occassionally tries to fulfill one he doesn´t know where to begin. His actions in no way match his words.

And yet, to be fair, none of this is pointed out by the MSM, and none is pointed out by any leading Republicans. Who are all terrified by the fact that he is black, or half-black, or blacker than they are, or something.

FTA: It will not be by revolution, or uprising, or a walkout by Congress, or a blazing speech by an opponent. It will come by way of something minor -- a curse overheard on the golf course, an insult thrown at a helpless citizen, a sick child denied treatment under ObamaCare. Then the collapse will come, like a sudden clash of cymbals.

Obama cannot for long keep under wraps his essential authoritarian nature. He´s been overheard unburdening himself of dozens of revealing inanities, sometimes couched in the shoot from the lip rhetoric of hip hop, which appears to be his default musical entertainment. It figures. The Legacy Media has done all it could, fair and unfair, to hide or disguise his essentially ugly nature from ordinary American, most of whom are none the wiser, as they prefer to be.

The only caveat I have after reading Dunn´s latest excellent essay is that the Fourth Estate still endeavors to protect the Fifth Column (e.g., the Democrats), for if the latter loses its cachet, the former, sliding rapidly toward obsolescence, might move with it into irrelevance. At least we can hope.

So the "must reads" on these pages have gone from the ridiculously sublime" e.g. "Obama can´t win re-election and he knows it" and the ever popular "Obamacare is dead" to the sublimely ridiculous- Obama will be king forever through a military coup after suspending elections". At least these articles may keep the "martial law" hysterics in one thread.

Already happened, already happened several times, and already happened a few times, And the results? Crickets. Sorry J.R. but you´re using logic and assuming that the Free S*** Army will care about anything other than the monthly SNAP card fillup. They never will. It´s not Obama´s fault that he is the president. It´s the voter´s and they only get worse even with the disasters happening all around them, even with the leftists losing their health insurance and actually buying the solution of earning less to get subsidized insurance. J.R., you´re in a different America, the one I wish actually existed but has long since vanished.

Look, right now Obama could take an innocent five year old girl of a Tea Party mom onto the White House lawn in shackles, put a hood over her head, shoot her in the head at point blank range, turn to the live video cameras and say, "Let me be clear, this is why we need tougher gun laws." And not one thing would happen to Obama, nothing whatsoever. The story would instantly become why Boehner is such a racist for sending Obama a letter of concern. That´s real JR and that is exactly where we are and will continue to head no matter what he and his tyranny continues to do.

All this is supposed to happen when Obama does two things: calls off any new elections and declares martial law. The kindest thing we can say about this thesis is that it was worked out in ignorance of the actual political and legal mechanics ... We must not take counsel of our fears."

Never mind Zippy´s fate. How about the fate of this country. Next year, March 2015, the federal debt will be close to $18.5 Trillion, and by Inauguration Day 2017, will be right at $22+ Trillion dollars because it will continue to grow exponentially as Zero Hero Care kicks in. At 5% interest per year, that comes out to $1 Trillion a year in interest only on that money. What about the fate of your kids´ future. The fate of your mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, your savings account, 401k, stocks. The debasing of the value of the Dollar. Hmmmm??? What about that? Never mind, because Johnny Boehner and Mitch McConnell participated in a bipartisan way to avoid a pesky debt ceiling increase battle and inevitable government shutdown at the hands of those hater Republicans, and now they are happy smiling faces, glad handing each other on how good it feels to Rodney King it up with the Imperialistocrats. So the destruction of this country is happening in front of our eyes, in a bipartisan manner of course. Wonderful, just effin wonderful. Zippy´s fate is just fine. In 3 years he will be spending even more time on the beach in Hawaii, collecting his Presidential retirement benefits, landing multizillion dollar speaking gigs, TV shows, book deals, and living large. No worries, he´s got this.

We have to reach a tipping point before the peasants rise up and effect real change, and we are not there yet. And until we get there, best we can do is be vigilant, carry the banner while working the grass roots, and take names so that we can effect swift justice when the time comes. This article somewhat validates why a lot of people think Snowden is a hero for exposing what NSA is doing in their multi billion dollar compounds. They are watching you and they are leaning on you.

The rest of the government is merely falling in line through oppressive leadership and the Marxist type of government that is being established now.

The very fact that State National Guard units are being trained right now in citizen oppression tactics is a dead giveaway on what oppressive governments do to hold power over people they were once supposed to be subservient to, and serve. That is why they are they are buying all of that ammunition and going after your legally and constitutionally owned firearms.

Those who wish to change this country by oppression of its freedom loving citizens should consider some history. I don´t think National Guard units or the American armed forces will go after mom and dad or their neighbors.

I think that the American people and their armed forces would go after those who would violate our constitution and try to oppress people who value freedom. That has always meant the people at the top, those who violated our lives, our history and our trust. We all are watching you.

They have other illegal actions planed that will be hard for free people to swallow, and that is why they are buying up all of the ammo they can. Not very smart or forward thinking.

A longtime California politician who was praised for his efforts to make government more transparent and authored gun control legislation was arrested Wednesday, accused of conspiracy to deal firearms and wire fraud. The allegations against State Sen. Leland Yee were outlined in an FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint against him and 25 other people. The affidavit was unsealed on Wednesday, as Yee was scheduled to appear in court. Yee performed "official acts" in exchange for donations from undercover FBI agents, as he sought to dig himself out of a $70,000 debt incurred during a failed San Francisco mayoral bid,

IT experts are starting to weigh in on the spectacular fail of the ObamaCare launch, and explain what happened: political imperatives trumped everything else. The debut of ObamaCare is a perfect demonstration of why government should not be trusted with our health care. People with common sense and reality-based principles -- in a word, conservatives -- understand that government programs are by definition political. Politicians and bureaucrats are not personally accountable for failure, as in the private sector, so failure is acceptable to them. Cost overruns, fraud, and poor service are the norm in government programs for a reason.

Creeping totalitarianism is silently supplanting normal human thoughts and beliefs with an omnipresent and soul-destroying moral pathology. Although many wish to find another name for totalitarianism -- something that suggests that it has a purpose beyond power -- that is a mistake. "Socialism" for example, is a dull, empty word. Orwell´s horrific 1984 described a state based upon "Ingsoc" -- English Socialism -- but the Inner Party did not believe in redistributing wealth or helping the poor.
