Did you ever wonder why there is no mirror image comedian of Stephen Colbert who parodies the way liberals think, talk, and act?

It´s because they are already the ultimate parodies of themselves. There is no need to change a single word or inflection of what they say in order to mock them.

Guess I should not assume Cantor sold us out for a White House dinner? I mean he should at least get a round of golf with the group = Obama, Beohner etc.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has said the grassroots revolution sweeping across the country today mirrors the one that propelled Ronald Reagan to the White House, and the conservative stalwart said that Breitbart.com represents the democratization of the news that was once controlled by just a few elites in the legacy press. Appearing on the inaugural edition of Breitbart News Saturday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Cruz said that "what Breitbart does is so important" because it helps conservatives bypass those in the legacy media who once were the sole gatekeepers. Cruz was speaking to Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen

In what’s become a recurring theme, the weekly addresses of President Obama and congressional Republicans offered a preview of the two sides’ political strategies heading into this fall’s midterm elections. Mr. Obama and his fellow Democrats are pushing an income-equality agenda that includes a hike in the nation’s minimum wage and more federal investment into manufacturing, infrastructure, education, and other areas. The GOP, on the other hand, continues to zero in on the president’s health-care reform law and its negative consequences, a tack the party is sure to continue heading toward the November contests. In his weekly speech, the president

Baghdad -More than 700 people died in violence in Iraq in February, not including nearly 300 reported deaths in western Anbar province, where security forces have been battling Sunni Muslim rebels since January, the United Nations said on Saturday. The world body said local authorities had recorded 298 civilian deaths in Anbar, but that it could not confirm the figures independently due to the chaos in the desert region. Outside Anbar, the bloodshed was worst in Baghdad, where 239 civilians were killed, followed by Salahuddin province to the north with 121 dead. A total of 1,381 people were wounded.

Workers said they heard a loud noise moments before “Motown the Musical” began. “Everybody heard a thump. They thought it was an explosion. It shook the chandelier,” a worker said. “They jumped up, it scared them,” a second worker said. The play started at 7:30 p.m. “The box office workers heard it and [they] were waiting for everybody to start running out,” the worker said. But no

The creators of Northern Kentucky’s controversial Creation Museum say enough money has been raised to proceed with a new biblical theme park built around a 510-foot replica of Noah’s Ark. Ken Ham, the president of Answers in Genesis who gained national attention earlier this month after a debate with Bill Nye the Science Guy, said that after a recent bond offering “the funding is in place” to start building the “Ark Encounter” park on an 800-acre site in Grant County, Ky. Senate Democrats will not write a budget for the next fiscal year. One year after writing and passing the first Senate Democratic budget resolution in four years, Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray (D-Wash.) said her conference will not make an effort in the 2014 midterm election year. In a statement, Murray said there was no reason to do a fiscal 2015 budget after the two-year deal struck in December with House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.). That deal set budget ceilings for the 2014 and 2015 fiscal years. The 2015 fiscal year begins on Oct. 1. “Fiscal Year

Putin says the move is needed to protect ethnic Russians and the personnel of a Russian military base in Ukraine´s strategic region of Crimea. The request comes a day after President Obama warned Moscow that "there will be costs" if it intervenes militarily in Ukraine. "I´m submitting a request for using the armed forces of the Russian

Americans take justifiable pride in the freedoms given to them by nature or God and enshrined in the Constitution’s Bill of Rights. As we seem to be finding out day after day, however, those rights are no longer of any real value; they are, as James Madison suspected they would be, “parchment barriers” against the encroachment of government and a population conditioned to believe that rights originate with that government, not from a higher power. Founding philosophy believed that the legitimacy of government sprang from defending rights inherent to human beings; if the government were to violate those rights, it

A federal court has ruled that an American school student has a right to free expression -- unless that American might be threatened for that expression by others, in which case state officials have the right to quash the offending expression to appease potential aggressors. Which, ipso facto, means Americans have no right to free expression at all. For if it’s not the government’s role to protect expression that is thought to be offensive by a vicious mob, what purpose does the First Amendment have? “Safe” expression needs no protection, after all. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled upon the constitutionality of a decision

Kennedy — who had faced up to a year in jail if convicted — hugged both her lawyers as the verdict was read, and then began clapping after the jurors left the courtroom. But it´s unclear whether those moves will have any impact on Russia´s calculus in Ukraine, which is at the center of what many see as a tug of war between East and West.
