Local Psychologist A Former Skeptic,
Now Trains Priests In Exorcisms

CBS PITTSBURGH (KDKA), by Andy Sheehan

Original Article

So, exorcism might seem like fiction. But did you know that the Vatican has actually encouraged every Catholic diocese to have a trained exorcist on staff? A local psychologist is an expert who is traveling around the world to train those priests. Once he was a skeptic, but he tells KDKA’s Andy Sheehan, after assisting in nearly 100 exorcisms, his experiences have made him a believer. For the past 10 years Adam Blai has been on the front line. “Basically, it’s a war between heaven and hell,” says Blai. “That’s been going on since Creation started, and it’s a war

“When you interact with somebody possessed by a demon, their heart is so completely and totally black and devoid of any hesitation or compassion that you know in your heart that they would tear you apart and be smiling the entire time,” Blai said.

I mentioned in another thread yesterday ... there´s an article I read on online at Patheos entitled "The Devil in Ordinary."

We know that the demon possessed are not always frightening raving monsters. The demons more often hide within the person.

In my life, which has been a bit over a half a century (oh my!), I never heard so many people remark that we are close to the the Revelation. Yes, I´ve also heard that every generation feels that at some point. But, when in previous generations have countries had such destructive weapons? Evil intentions, yes, but who would have ever thought another country would DARE to tempt retribution by closing in on our maritime borders?

I just pray for all peoples in these very scary days, and we´re being held hostage by evil forces. God help us.

Starting many decades ago the Left--in order to destroy the source of the strongest resistance to their plans and viewpoint, to their Marxist, Gramscian “long march through the culture/institutions” has worked very, very hard, using every tool at its disposal, to denigrate, subvert, water-down, and to push Judeo-Christian religion out of our families, out of our schools, out of many churches, out of our daily life, out of our government and public institutions, out of the Public square.

For it was this Judeo-Christian religion that was the bedrock upon which our country was founded, the keystone holding everything together that provided the principles out of which our country and our Constitution were formed, our shield and guiding light, and once nearly every citizen’s fundamental world-view and viewpoint, familiar to all and as omnipresent as the air we breathe that, in the past--did we remember and know it--permeated, informed, and directed virtually every facet of our families, institutions, and daily life.

As a major part of this effort by the Left they have tried to convince us that a religious/theological view of this world is naïve, old fashioned, nonsense, that there is no Heaven or Hell, that we do not have a natural, instinctive sense of Right and Wrong, that Good and Evil are merely arbitrary constructs, designed to give oppressors control over the oppressed, and that they do not really exist. Tried to convince us that this world should not be looked at as the battleground between Good and Evil, between Heaven and Hell, with each individual responsible for his own soul and his decisions as to which side he is on, telling us that, of course, Evil being illusory, people can never actually be “possessed” by it.

However, what if those on the Left are the ones who are wrong?

Once Satan´s greatest weapon was convincing people that good isn´t real. Then his greatest weapon became convincing people that evil isn´t real. Now his greatest weapon is convincing the world that it doesn´t matter.

The collective heart of mankind is in need of a cleansing.

P.S.--As part and parcel of the Left’s sustained, all out attacks against Judeo-Christian religion, they have also pressed—and very successfully so--a parallel and supporting attack against Academe and Philosophy.

The beauty of the Left’s position and its pushing of its “Postmodern thought” that says that we live in a Universe created by random processes that has no God, no sentient creating or guiding force in it, and no particular point or destination--that we are the helpless victims of a cruel fate--that Religion and the Ten Commandments therefore mean nothing, and are merely the invented and convenient instruments of social control, and that all standards are fraudulent, that all attempts to measure, rank, and judge statements, things, and actions against Judeo-Christian morality or the traditional standards of “the true, the good, and the beautiful” are the deceptive games by which the rich and powerful keep the poor and powerless in their place, is that it deprives us of any way to asses and judge them, and absolves them of any responsibility for or guilt about their ideas, statements, and actions.

If there are no standards, there are no restraints or boundaries, and they are free to do anything, and not feel guilty about it.

“I live in the Managerial Age, in a world of "Admin." The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid "dens of crime" that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voices. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern.

In a new study, researchers found an increased risk of multiple sclerosis (MS) among women who have taken oral contraceptives. However, the findings do not mean women should stop using birth control, the researchers say. Utilizing membership data from Kaiser Permanente Southern California, researchers analyzed the health records of 305 women aged 14 to 48 who were diagnosed with MS or its precursor, clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), between 2008 and 2011. They looked at the women’s birth control use up to three years prior to the onset of MS symptoms. Overall, researchers found a 30 percent increased risk of developing

Previous administrations had done the same thing with complicated new laws, they said, and the slow-motion rollout of the sprawling health care law was sure to encounter more problems
