NFL´s first openly gay player?
Missouri draft prospect comes out

Los Angeles Times, by Matt Pearce

Three months before the NFL draft, star Missouri football player Michael Sam has publicly come out as gay, raising the possibility that the league may soon have its first openly gay player. In interviews published Sunday, Sam -- the 2013 SEC defensive player of the year -- said he came out to University of Missouri teammates last year and decided to go public now so he could tell his story his own way. "I am an openly, proud, gay man," Sam, 24, told ESPN, adding: "I understand how big this is. It´s a big deal. No one has done this before. And it's kind of a nervous process, but I know what I want to be ... I want to be a football player in the

The LA Times really should have a Gay Section. I swear they must have a dozen writers whose sole job is to scour/find/write gay articles every dang day.

Look, we don´t care what you do with your poopyhole. Get it? Just shut up and leave the rest of us alone.

Most of us don´t "hate" gays. We are trying REALLY hard not to care, but they won´t let us. Gay NFL player? OK, so? Should be a blip. A side note. MAYbe it would register a little higher than "meh" on the give a dang scale. But no, Mr Sam has to make it a Big Deal. Really BIG. First one (bet he´s not), nervous but proud and we should all be Proud and listen to his Story. And he can hardly wait for a hard tackle so he can make a big deal about that too, and say it´s just because he´s Openly Gay. And the NFL will hurry to send all the players to re-education sensitivity training and make sure nobody ever body slams another player or hurts their feeeeeeelings, because that would be wrong.

And if he doesn´t get drafted - will the NFL Draft be invalidated?
Enough already.
If an openly gay man is in the showers with straight men- is that a violation of the straight mens´ right of privacy?
Should there be separate facilities?
Why can´t people keep their sex lives private-whether the very heterosexual Kardashians or gay athletes?
Some things ARE personal and should be kept that way.
What´s next Affirmative Action for Gays? How about demanding ethnic quotas for the NFL?
Caucasians, Mexicans and Asians need to be as a percentage of the population -no more 70-80 black NFL or NBA.
Blacks Demand AA for jobs and schools and POTUS -why not NFL and NBA? Let everything be based upon performance, not pigment, gender and ethnicity.
Enough identity politics - we are Americans.

We can only hope that one day soon, inspired by examples of "coming out of the closet" like this, that Barack Obama will take the brave step of admitting in public that he is in fact an anti-American Marxist. The accolades given by the MSM to anyone who admits they are gay should surely extend to any leading Democrat who admits their true ideology...?

How long before the liberal media starts to praise those who come out about their beastiallity fetish?

Will they refuse to play on teams that don´t have animal nicknames? (Proud to be with the Rams or the Broncos).

Will the liberal media then insist that all team nicknames be animals?

Living in a politically-correct society is really starting to get overly complex.

Heartbleed Bug: Here Are the
Passwords You Should Change
Time Magazine, by Doug Aamoth    Original Article

When it comes to changing your passwords, the Heartbleed Bug is a better-safe-than-sorry bug. This is not a case of hackers breaking into a bunch of sites and stealing all the sites’ usernames and passwords; this is a vulnerability that allowed hackers to grab relatively small chunks of data as they flowed through sites. If you happened to be entering your username, password or credit card number as someone was making a grab, it’s probably out there now. You’re playing the odds, in other words — and we don’t exactly know what the odds are. This bug has existed for a couple years but was just recently publicly disclosed,

New York - The Internet bug Heartbleed doesn´t just affect websites. It also has shown up in the gadgets we use to connect to the Internet. Tech giants Cisco and Juniper have identified about two dozen networking devices affected by Heartbleed, including servers, routers, switches, phones and video cameras used by small and large businesses everywhere. (Snip) That means for two years now, someone could have been able to tap your phone calls and voicemails at work, all your emails and entire sessions at your computer or iPhone. You also could have been compromised if you logged into work from home remotely.

The NSA is disavowing its knowledge of the Heartbleed security vulnerability after a Bloomberg report suggested that the spy agency had exploited it for at least two years. “NSA was not aware of the recently identified vulnerability in OpenSSL, the so-called Heartbleed vulnerability, until it was made public in a private-sector cybersecurity report," NSA spokesperson Vanee Vines told The Post. "Reports that say otherwise are wrong.” The White House and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence echoed that statement Friday, saying neither the NSA nor any other part of the U.S. government knew about Heartbleed

The U.S. National Security Agency knew for at least two years about a flaw in the way that many websites send sensitive information, now dubbed the Heartbleed bug, and regularly used it to gather critical intelligence, two people familiar with the matter said. The NSA’s decision to keep the bug secret in pursuit of national security interests threatens to renew the rancorous debate over the role of the government’s top computer experts. Heartbleed appears to be one of the biggest glitches in the Internet’s history, a flaw in the basic security of as many as two-thirds of the world’s websites. Its discovery and the creation of a fix

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators.
