With Anger Building, Boehner
Puts the Brakes on Amnesty

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Matthew Boyle & Jonathan Strong

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/6/2014 1:23:14 PM

In an abrupt switch from his months of work to bring immigration reform back from life support, Speaker John Boehner told reporters today that the issue cannot move forward until President Obama proves he can be a trustworthy partner to implement the law as written. “There´s widespread doubt about whether this administration can be trusted to enforce our laws. And it´s going to be difficult to move any immigration legislation until that changes,” Boehner said. The change in tack comes after rank-and-file members pushed hard against action on the issue this year when immigration “principles” when unveiled at a retreat last week

Comments:
He won´t move forward until 0bama proves trustworthy?? Using those standards then it will never move forward. And that would assume he was "trustworthy" to begin with. We all know that´s certainly not the case.

There is never going to be any "trust in Obama", so brake all Obama legislation.

Methinks this whole posturing on immigration was planned this way all along. Quite possibly the leadup to this was all posturing to benefit special interests such as the Chamber of Commerce.

In spite of what they say, I believe they will try to bring this up in late May or June when the primaries are over.

I do not trust that Boehner is giving up on Amnesty/Legalization/Comprehensive Immigration Reform. I truly believe it is a trick to make certain that he and his B-ttBuddies don´t get primaried. He is that mendacious.

They will never be able to trust Obama on immigration matters, Obama knows that is a big issue with especially conservative Republicans, so what does he do, unilaterally changes a portion of the immigration laws relating to mostly foreign Muslims who have had past contacts with Muslim terrorists that in essence will make it more easy for those Muslims to enter the USA based upon asylum claims no doubt many of them bogus and as refugees.

This is exactly like Obama believing for 6 years that he can stop the Iranian nuclear program at the negotiating table. When they fire their first nuke at Israel we will be certain that was Obama´s plan all along.

If Boehner negotiates with the Dems to give amnesty to 12 million illegals already in the country and then an addition 30 million over the next decade, then we will be certain that was his plan all along. Until Harry Reid is gone as majority leader of the Senate, there is zero reason to negotiate.

Perhaps Mr Speaker should trouble himself to investigate why such fraud is permitted, before trying to undermine out culture and labor markets with even more foreigners?

This is done on purpose to keep each side thinking there is hope so more campaign cash to grease the skids keeps rolling in. I believe he got his butt handed to him by the conservative members and most of the other GOP reps that aren’t part of his RINO leadership cabal at the retreat last week.

Boehner is only Conservative when he is forced to be. Lately, he and other establishment Republicans decided to push back against the Tea Party Conservatives. The result is that fundraising for establishment Republicans dried up and shifted to the Tea Party. Boehner and Co. just got their financial heads handed to them. He cannot afford to be uppity. It broke the impasse and seven more Republicans soon voted as well to end the filibuster. Iranian oil exports soared in January, hitting new highs just months after the United States consented to billions of dollars in economic sanctions relief under the interim nuclear deal. Exports of Iranian crude oil jumped to 1.32 million barrels, up from December’s high of 1.06 million barrels, according to data from the International Energy Agency. The spike in exports—mainly to Japan, China, and India—has helped Iran’s once-ailing economy stabilize and decrease inflation. Iranian oil exports have steadily risen since negotiations with the West restored confidence in Tehran’s economy.
