Obama´s IRS ´Confusion´
Wall Street Journal, by Editorial

House committees are still digging into the IRS political targeting scandal, and based on a hearing Wednesday there´s more to learn. The day produced more evidence blowing apart President Obama´s claims that there was "not even a smidgen of corruption" or political motivation in the IRS handling of groups applying for tax-exempt status. Mr. Obama wants Americans to believe that the targeting resulted from the confusing tax law governing nonprofits, which he says was "difficult" to interpret and resulted in mere "bureaucratic" mistakes. This is also the Administration´s justification for issuing new regulations governing

By preventing conservative and TEA party groups the ability to raise funds tax free, as democrat groups do, Obama and his merry band of thieves stole an election. Money is the mother´s milk in politics.

The trouble with Eddy Haskell was not just that he was a liar....but that he oozed a creepy confidence that suggested that even Beaver´s Mother (June Cleaver, as played by Lindsey Graham) couldn´t quite summon up the courage to call bullsnit on him.

Zippy is the Eddy Haskell President.

I wish he had come back to the "not a smidgen" comment with "What are we to make of the spectacle of a senior IRS official refusing to tell us what she did, on the job, on the public payroll, for fear of criminal prosecution if we find out???"

At a risk that I sound like a broken record here I go again. Without a honest, impartial media...most corruption is distorted so it appears to be true, not reported, put on page 19 or blamed on the other party yelling partisan politics...then forgotten.

I will give an Attaboy to the House for at least keeping the Benghazi and IRA scandals alive. They have done so against huge odds that they wouldn´t and couldn´t.

We need the equivalent of the Frank Church Hearings of the 1970´s which targeted and neutered the CIA. The left loved taking apart our Intelligence Community. Now its our turn, Open to the Public the long abuses taking place by IRS. For many years they have had no oversite, and carried out the bullying of the American people. Open the books and put it on TV. Reform is long overdue. Sunshine can kill a lot of germs. Then push for a flat tax.

So we finally have Obama on the record for something. The tax code is too confusing! Since this confusing tax code cannot be fairly administered it must be simplified. The progressive income tax should be abolished and replaced with a sales tax. Be very careful in writing this law that you don´t end up with BOTH. See how easy it is when you are not devoted to marxist goals!

3. Nearly Pure as the Driven Snow
4. Virtually Pure as the Driven Snow
5. Practically Pure as the Driven Snow
6. Just About Pure as the Driven Snow

Now, on to income inequality and back to another scandal. The march to Marxism. If you want to know Obama´s priorities for 2014, here they are...(if it sounds like the Democrat platform, you´re right)

I believe Obama was channeling his inner Clinton when he stated that there wasn’t a smidgen of corruption in the IRS scandal. As Clinton looked us straight in the eye and said, “It depends on what the meaning of is is,” it depends on what the meaning of corruption is. It appears that targeting your political opponents for harassment so that they cannot be heard is not corruption, it is just good old Chicago-style politics as usual.

This article does not begin to enlighten anyone on the drama that is being played out in this hearing. There are several heroes for our side. First, the great lawyer who heads the ACLU, a Jew who is a great defender of the rights of Christians. Second, Rep. Gowdy, who also is a very experienced lawyer. Next, yes, folks, Lindsley Graham who is nothing like Eddie Haskell in this hearing. Like him or not, when he´s right, he´s right.

Sekelow particularly has Obama and his Democrats on the run. I have contributed to the ACLU pretty heavily (for little me) and I consider every penny well spent. God bless Jay Sekelow.

The question of the hour is now that we know that the rules that govern the 501(c4) applications have been change, what is going to be done about it? Can the Congress have the rules returned to the previous state? Who makes the decisions to change the rules?
And are the new rules going to apply to liberal organizations too? And if so, are the ones that are currently tax exempt going to be allowed to continue so? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Alert shoppers are accustomed to watching food prices go up and down. But a string of forces—from droughts to diseases—is raising the cost of a trip to the grocery store at a rapid clip. And it looks like it will be a while before the price pressure eases. Some of that pressure is coming from California—the source of roughly half the nation´s fruits and vegetables—where a long-running drought is forcing farmers and ranchers to cut production. After the driest year on record, large sections of farmland are expected to lay fallow this year as the Golden State copes with an ongoing water

Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.) on Friday called for a Senate hearing into the dispute between Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) over cattle grazing. Heller described as "patriots" the people who came armed to Bundy’s ranch after the BLM began to seize his cattle for refusing to pay grazing fees and fines that now total more than $1 million. Heller debated the ranch standoff on a Nevada television station with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who has called the armed Bundy supporters “domestic terrorists.” "What senator Reid may call domestic terrorists, I call patriots," Heller said.

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. The bushy-tailed visitor

I began reading the entirety of the first section of the New York Times at nine years old, and continued that practice, more or less, for decades.(snip) ...the power of reverence, intrinsic to what I call the “cascade” of The Times: the near avalanche-like flow and distribution of information through electronic and print networks: through like-minded network newscasts, magazines, local newspaper s, blogs, daytime talk TV, late-night entertainment, statements at media award ceremonies, the celebrity Twitterverse, etc. The cascade rolls through Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart, The New Yorker, the mouths of third-grade teachers, Elmo, Madonna and Susan Sarandon …through

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
