7 Seconds: Lawmaker´s Benghazi
Question Stumps Top US Officials

ABC News, by Mike Levine

Seven seconds of total silence. The nation´s top intelligence officials have answered the question countless times over the past year and a half, but they seemed stumped during a House hearing Tuesday when a Florida congressman asked them one more time: "Can anybody at the table tell us when somebody will be held responsible for the murders in Benghazi?" For seven seconds, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, CIA director John Brennan, Defense Intelligence Agency director Michael Flynn, National Counterterrorism Center director Matt Olsen and FBI director James Comey sat quietly – each one seemingly waiting for one of the others to

And since when do we need the cooperation of the Libyan govt to go after the perps? The gigantic whitewash continues. If this were any other time, aside from the age of Obama, the President would have been impeached, those responsible would have been ´dealt with´ and the officials who sat on their arses and did nothing would have been perp-walked out of their cushy offices and throw into the hole.

Personally, i don´t believe a word any of these clowns say. They´re covering up a gun-running scheme that went awry, and the American people are told to basically shut up and sit down. We´re no longer the land of the free. We had a good, long run. But in the end, our Founders could not have envisioned the pompous ass in the WH, the cheerleading press, and the dumbed-down public looking for their next handout.

BOR did his best to stick with the slimy goo that emanated from that interview. Had he pushed any harder, he might never get another interview with the LIC - that is, liar in chief.

What is amazing is that anyone still puts up with his nonsense. America has sunk to the lowest of lows because of this redistributionist.

There simply is no initiative within the Administration to pursue the Benghazi terrorists. Pretending otherwise is a scam designed to trick the Lo-info types. Same with the IRS scandal. There is no circumstantial evidence that any investigation into either matter is underway. If there were actual, bona fide investigations, there would be plenty of activity. This administration strictly adheres to the principle observed by PT Barnham. No one ever lost a penny underestimating the intelligence of the American public. It´s served them well.

Although I am very anxious to see justice done on behalf of these men, it is much more important to me that our government officials be held accountable. Terrorist do what terrorist do. It is the government´s involvement in something very despicable that cuts to the heart of this matter. The dirty wheeling and dealing of this administration must be exposed. Once that is accomplished, hunting down the bad guys will then naturally follow. The government can´t be let off the hook. These men´s lives mattered and they deserve to be honored with the truth.

Benghazi is like the Kennedy assassination...we will never truly identify the gunman, their connections and power players in the stands....had we sent in some support, then at least the investigation could start with the dead members of the lynch mob, but our administration made sure that couldn´t happen.

It took 7 seconds to say that they are not at liberty to discuss the alleged investigation? That is an outrage, not an embarrassment.

The press is actively engaging in a cover up for the administration. Poor Nixon! If only he had been a Democrat, the American people would never have known about Watergate.

And here are Washington´ as "leading" bureaucrats, all
fearing for their lives, the lives of their families, AND their fat pay checks, fearing to tell the truth.
Washington is running on fear.
The fear to tell the truth of all the imbedded lies, fraud, theft, crimes is overwhelming, and by their collective silence, covering up the truth, America knows it´s time to finish the book, whistleblow, escape to Hong Kong, do something to break this grand deception out in the open.

Perhaps James Comey could appoint his close, personal friend and godfather of Comey´s children, Patrick Fitzgerald, to investigate the Benghazi fiasco. Of course Fitzgerald and Comey would insure only Obama opponents would be charged with a crime and Obama and Clinton would walk away without being required to answer real questions. Even Clapper and Brennan would get off scot free.

Every time the lid on Benghazi is pried open just a hair, the administration slams it shut again. It must NEVER be opened to the air. That alone is the biggest indictment of this administration´s involvement and guilt. And every time one of these hirelings lies they add their name and reputation to the cover-up.
But the truth ALWAYS comes out, and it will, and heads will roll. Will they go all the way to the top? Please God, let it be so.

#26 is correct, the wrong questions are being asked. They seem to focus on the stupid lie about the video (bad enough), but shy away from the why the lie.

What did Secretary of State Hillary! do that night? What did the pResident do that night? Why was competent security removed just weeks prior to the 11th anniversary of 9-11? Why were requests for more security from Ambassador Stevens ignored? What was so important in Benghazi that the Ambassador was in such an insecure compound on the anniversary of 9-11? What was he talking about with the Turkish emissary?

1) I originally thought Rep. Miller´s question about someone being held accountable was about the current Regime rather than the terrorists themselves.

2) If they know who these people are, why not use the drones zero loves so much. Is he worried about offending his buddies in Libya??

I recall Hillary´s 2008 "3 a.m. phone call ad" & how prophetic that turned out to be in the case of Benghazi, except for the fact that it showed that she was just as incompetent as the candidate Obama.

A nice 2016 ad would be to show that 2008 ad again but with a voiceover saying, "When our people called for help, she wasn´t there either".

Can I use logic? This fiasco crosses party lines. I´ve said before that to get to the bottom of it we would interrogate John McCain. He was pushing for arming the Syrian Rebels. He visited their camps at about the same time.

Obama didn´t even bother to attend his security briefings. Both parties want this to go away. Maybe that is the best thing to do as sick as it sounds.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will leave Tuesday for a four-nation trip to Asia, looking to recharge a focus on the region, an ambitious initiative that’s been sidetracked by domestic politics and international conflicts elsewhere. Yet even as Obama attempts to boost his effort to emphasize U.S. interest in Asia, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intervention in Ukraine is complicating efforts to reassure Asian nations _ which share the region with an increasingly assertive China - that the U.S. is committed to their security. The administration’s efforts to refocus U.S. policy toward Asia were already being questioned in the region with the

One of the Obama administration’s favorite themes is the idea that Republicans have been waging a “war on women.” Though Democrats may overestimate the appeal of this canard, the notion that troglodyte conservatives seek to send American women back to the 19th century has become a form of conventional wisdom, especially in the liberal mainstream media. But though that war is a piece of fakery rooted in the confusion between political liberalism and gender equality, there is little doubt about the reality of another war on women: the one that is being waged by left-wing ideologues against any female Republican

Turning the tables remains the first refuge of liars called on their mendacity. “I was hurt,” Elizabeth Warren relays in her new autobiography, “and I was angry.” The second-year senator speaks of her 2012 political opponent using her claims of Native American ancestry against her during the campaign. Elizabeth Warren could pass for Bull Connor’s sister. She couldn’t pass for Sitting Bull’s second cousin five times removed. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. The bushy-tailed visitor

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

I began reading the entirety of the first section of the New York Times at nine years old, and continued that practice, more or less, for decades.(snip) ...the power of reverence, intrinsic to what I call the “cascade” of The Times: the near avalanche-like flow and distribution of information through electronic and print networks: through like-minded network newscasts, magazines, local newspaper s, blogs, daytime talk TV, late-night entertainment, statements at media award ceremonies, the celebrity Twitterverse, etc. The cascade rolls through Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart, The New Yorker, the mouths of third-grade teachers, Elmo, Madonna and Susan Sarandon …through

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. And no, it’s not just the fact that having a grandchild could be personally fulfilling to Hillary and Bill (mazel tov, by the way), or that a cute baby would be a sweet cherry on top of Hillary’s already
