First on CNN: Conservative group pushes

Washington - A conservative group is launching a new campaign which calls on "the GOP leadership in both the House and the Senate to step aside." ForAmerica told CNN that it´s putting six figures behind its "Dump the Leadership" campaign between now and November´s leadership elections. The group says that its digital ads will target House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, as well as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Whip John Cornyn, and the group adds that the first paid spots are now up online. "Time and again, year after year, the Republican leadership in the

Well I guess Boehner and the leadership are getting the internal Party Civil War they have been pushing for. Last week´s Immigration push and secret meetings between Ryan and Schumer must have been the last straw.

There goes 2014.

Thanks Establishment.

"No accomplishments for years"??? There has been no conservative accomplishments since 1856, as the GOP leadership has always been progressive left and its POTUS nominees are testament to that. In simple terms, the GOP is just a corporatist entity, in the Mussolini mold, but w/o the anti-semitism and war mongering. It has been nothing more than a broker between expansive bureaucratic governance and big business; in it for their subsidies and tax breaks. Period!!!

For decades whenever the conservative base complained about the "plantation treatment" we received from the GOP leadership (despite our money, time and votes) we were told we had to support them because "the democrats would be worse."

When we complained about the constant offerings of milquetoast candidates we were lectured that we had to support the nominee and that the primaries were the place to fight over policy if we could field our own candidates.

In 2010 we did field our own conservative candidates and won the House for the GOP. That scared them so that in 2012 our own party, who conveniently threw the “support the nominee” directive out the window, shunned conservative candidates and then they blamed us for the poor showing of their anointed ones.

Now, for 2014 they have wisely chosen that it is the time to alienate their base with open warfare so they can finally rid themselves of the troglodyte conservatives who embarrass them in front of their fellows in the Cartel Party. The Whigs could not have been more suicidal.

Thanks for the memories, GOP. See you in November.

Congress approval ratings are in the single digits, so this group probably will have higher approval ratings than Boehner, Ryan, Cantor & McConnell combined. One big reason the TP has lost ground is a person by the name of Lois Lerner.

A top Republican campaigning for immigration reform is warning that America needs at least 1 million more immigrants every year just for basic farming and construction jobs, not ban like some in the party are advocating. Carlos Gutierrez, Commerce secretary under former President George W. Bush, said that without more immigrants, businesses won´t be able to grow because there aren´t enough workers available. In his analysis of Florida Republican David Jolly´s special election win over Democrat Alex Sink on Tuesday, Republican establishment strategist Karl Rove failed to fully acknowledge the importance of both mobilizing the Republican base for this fall´s midterm elections and opposing amnesty. In an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal on Thursday, Rove wrote that Jolly´s win showed that "ObamaCare is a potent issue that hurts Democrats badly but isn´t sufficient by itself." Actions speak louder than words, and Congress’ actions over 113th session demonstrate a bipartisan unwillingness to get runaway federal spending under control. An early indication was Congress’s actions on the Hurricane Sandy bill, a bloated, $50 billion pork-barrel spending bill that was ostensibly intended to help northeastern states recover from the storm. Due to its dubious emergency designation, spending in the bill didn’t count against the spending caps put in place by the 2010 Budget Control Act. Consequently, opportunistic Members of Congress from both political parties seized the chance to attach tens of billions

Black children represent about 18 percent of children in preschool programs in schools, but they make up almost half of the preschoolers who are suspended more than once, the report said.
