Horror story in the making

“What’s your favorite Woody Allen movie? Before you answer, you should know: When I was 7 years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house. He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother’s electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me.” When I read those words from Allen’s grown adopted daughter Dylan Farrow on Sunday, I felt sick to my stomach. My favorite Woody Allen movie? So many. “Annie Hall.” “Husbands and Wives.” Watching “Hannah and Her Sisters” is a Thanksgiving tradition. “Blue

I´m sorry...I just don´t feel either sympathy or empathy towards anyone in this train wreck of a story. If it´s indeed true, and not just some fabricated episode of "Repressed Memory Syndrome" as concocted by unscrupulous psychiatrists, then it´s all the more reason not to like Allen. Until then, I´ll find my horror at Netflix.

Woody Allan is personally a creep (though "Blue Jasmine" is genius, mostly because of Cate Blanchette) but Mia Farrow is a nutcase, not to be trusted. The two of them were made for each other, and the coached memories of a 6 year old are not to be trusted, even when the woman is in her late 20´s.

This is a guy who married his step daughter. That in itself is pretty strange. His "boundaries" are pretty unusual. It is easy to believe he would do what he is accused of doing. It´s all pretty sick.

I believe her.How did Mia adopt this child when she and he weren´t married? Why didn´t they marry?Because they make their own rules without regard for the children. They are above that. They have money.
If they cannot care enough about the children to marry then perhaps they can do pretty much what they want. And Woody wasn´t related to this girl. And would you tell this story knowing you will be slimed by his Hollywood friends? In my view ,no one would want to think about this happening much less tell it out loud.Disgusting......

So the author "disliked" Woody Allen after he married his stepdaughter. But all is forgiven after they adopted two little girls. Will she still adore him after he divorces the present Mrs. Allen, and remarries another young thing, but hopefully NOT one of his adopted daughters again.

I´m no psychiatrist, but I do know that when a child is traumatized, mentally or physically, that person stays at that emotional level long into adulthood, especially when the pain (memory) is evoked, every time it´s evoked.

In her letter as published by Kristoff, she says that when she heard Allen would be up for yet another award, she went to her bedroom, curled up into a ball, and cried her eyes out.

That´s what a 7-year-old would do. She may be fully adult in every other aspect of her life, but she is still that 7-year-old when it comes to Woody Allen.

Now, whether the originating trauma was physical caused by Woody Allen, or mental/emotional by Mia Farrow, only Mia can tell us.

I feel for the 7-year-old Dylan, much as I still feel empathy for 12-year-old Michael Jackson, who I believe was also tormented and traumatized in a similar manner as a talented child.

My theory is that most actors are immature, selfish, and self-indulgent. It´s largely WHY they become paid professional pretenders.... they just don´t deal with Reality (capital R) all that well, IF at all. Life to them is a play, and everyone in their orbit a player. Ergo, all scenes must be properly staged for maximum effect.

And applause.

I don´t believe it. Mia acted like a nut case many years ago during the break up. She was constantly on a rant in the press against Woody. That she would tell her children things she claimed he did in order to damage him in their eyes and implant memories is not far fetched.

When I was six my father told me I could see Santa Claus on the roof. "Look, do you see him? Do you see him? I see him. Do you? Look." and I ran outside and "saw him" as his sleigh took off into the night. I still have that memory which is just as real in my mind as any other memory of that time.

Then one day a man came up to me and said he could prove to me that Santa Claus was in fact not real. I figured, what the heck, I was home from college that weekend anyhow.

BUNKERVILLE, NEVADA—The Bundy Ranch roundup has understandably stirred thin-stretched emotions as the federal government seizes cattle belonging to the Bundy family. The family settled in the late 1800’s and has ranched in the area since. The federal government allowed Nevada ranchers to graze their cattle on federal tracts of land adjacent to their private properties for generations. The federal government later created the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to administer and “protect” the vast swaths of federal land—including the land the Bundy family’s livelihood was—and still is—dependent upon. The BLM began restricting ranchers’ usage of federal lands to protect various

A huge wave of public testimony, reports and documents on what happened in Benghazi now floods Washington, and little of it focuses on the role of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton before, on, or after Sept. 11, 2012. Over the past 18 months, there have been at least seven public congressional hearings and three fact-finding reports on the terrorist attack. If not invisible, Mrs. Clinton is certainly portrayed as being only in the background during Benghazi, unaware of key events. Judging by the horse he gave Defense Secretary Chuckie Hagel a couple of days ago, Mongolian Defense Minister Dashdemberel must be a very diligent student of the defense budget that Congress is now trying to craft. A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
