Woody Allen: Sex Abuse Claims
Are ‘Untrue and Disgraceful’

Time Magazine, by Sam Frizell

Original Article

Woody Allen responded Sunday to the accusations of his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow, who claimed that Allen sexually assaulted her when she was seven years old. “Mr. Allen has read the article and found it untrue and disgraceful. He will be responding very soon,” a rep for Allen told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. Farrow published a letter yesterday detailing her suffering from alleged sexual assault by Woody Allen as a child. The director was never convicted of any crime relating to the allegations. Allen’s attorneys responded Sunday in a statement:“It is tragic that after 20 years a story

It wasn´t ´abuse´ abuse.

Not like the kind that is committed by poor people or non-famous people.

That kind is criminal but the Hollywood kind is very different.

It´s hard to explain.

Artists are different.

Particularly really rich ones.

Regarding implanted memories: the children who were victims of implanted memories suffered the psychological traumas and dysfunctions in later life that "real" abuse is known to cause. In other words, their personal history came to be that of horribly abused children.

As adults many of them maintain the belief that abuses took place exactly as they had been programmed to believe. Tabloids, quack "therapists," and unqualified judges have been outrageously complicit in that ongoing validation and reinforcement of the lies! They have been the real abusers!

For facts specific to the Woody Allen case:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/01/27/the-woody-allen-allegations-not-so-fast.html

Dylan is an adult who HAS suffered the full experience of abuse, but it was from brainwashing her mother subjected her to, for "revenge" against Woody, for abandoning her in order to romance and marry her (adult) adopted daughter, Miss Previn.

The author quotes Mia´s son, Moses Farrow, who WAS in that household and who asserts brainwashing by Mia. Moses Farrow is now estranged from Mia, and has restored his relationship with Mr. and Mrs. Allen.

Additionally the police investigators who investigated when the case was first brought have concluded that the asserted molestation did NOT happen. They didn´t say the evidence was "inconclusive." They said it didn´t happen.

They looked at evidence, considered contradictions in Dylan´s diverse accounts, heard the Farrow employee who said the little girl was not out of her sight for even five minutes that day, etc., etc.

Woody Allen took and passed a lie detector test. Guess who refused to take a lie detector test!

That´s right. Mia Farrow!!

I know someone will try to correct me without reading the article I mentioned above. Don´t bother. The article refutes you.

Thanks #3,
An astonishing example of false memories is that of Elizabeth Loftus. As an adult, her uncle told her that she was the one who discovered her mother floating dead in the swimming pool. She had no memories of this, but soon memories started to arise in her mind, and eventually she was totally convinced of the reality of her "recovered memory." Later, another family member told her that the uncle was mistaken.
Why is this important? Elizabeth Loftus is probably the leading national expert on false memory as it affects eyewitness identification in court testimony.

I seem to remember that Woody was caught with a bunch of naked pictures years ago of his adopted daughter. He blamed that on his parental rights to take and have this "porn´ of her growing up.

As someone with some insight into the subject, the moms have a terrible line to walk. If you act as crazy-mad as you actually feel when someone terrorizes your child this way, you know a certain portion of people will take that to mean you are putting your child up to this as revenge for the lying scum leaving you. In reality, you are doing everything--EVERY thing--in your power to support and protect your child, first and foremost, and also protect other unknown children in the future.

I know there are women who have falsely blamed men and I think they deserve the deepest, darkest corner of hell because it taints all victims of real abuse.

I don´t care if Mia Farrow is a basket case or why she is a basket case. If it comes down to believing Dylan or Woody, always and forever I´m going to support the child.

As for having a default position of believing the child over the adult, EVERY case of parental brainwashing by one parent to punish the other is a case where it would be absolutely HATEFUL towards the child to believe him or her.

Validating the lies of a malicious parent turns the child against the GOOD parent. Sometimes forever!!

The default position must NEVER be to favor EITHER the adult OR the child. ONLY the investigation for THE TRUTH can EVER be a default!!

#9 -- Soon-Yi is not his adopted daughter. She is the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and Andre Previn. Neither is she his step-daughter as he and Farrow were never married, and they maintained separate households. Soon-Yi was of legal age when they became attached, and the photos were of an adult Soon-Yi, not a minor or while growing up.

The article also refutes the many misconceptions regarding Soon-Yi, for those quick to jump on the bandwagon based on that.

Not sure which is worse - being sexually abused as a child, or brainwashed and manipulated from childhood on up by one´s mother.

While I sympathize with Ms. Farrow here, she has no business trying to slime and implicate Cate Blanchett and the other actors who worked on his latest film.

Those actors had nothing to do with what may or may not have happened to her.
That garbage totally undercuts the case she is making for herself with her letter here.

As for prosecution of Mr. Allen, the prosecutor felt she was to fragile and iffy a witness to take to court back in 1993, so the case was dropped. If she wants justice, take him to court, at least civil court. I am not defending Allen here. But in this Country, our system is based on innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. He has not been found guilty there yet, and the public lynching is not the same thing.

The girl´s therapist testified that Allen had an intense interest in her. The abuse was reported and documented when it happened.

Mr. Allen will always have this cloud hanging over him. I´m not sure either way.

But thank you, #3, for the information about implanted memories. I remember there was a famous case of a pre-school, the name escapes me, where the operators of the school went to jail, despite there being no physical evidence of abuse. It was later determined that questioners had subtly guided the tiny tots to make outrageous accusations that had no basis in fact.

The Senate Intelligence Committee voted Thursday to make public a long-awaited report that concludes that the CIA’s use of brutal interrogation measures did not produce valuable intelligence and that the agency repeatedly misled government officials about the severity and success of the program. Japan recently turned over to the United States enough weapons-grade nuclear material to make dozens of nuclear bombs. This was one of President Barack Obama’s few foreign policy “successes,” as part of his nuclear-disarmament initiative. But his foreign-policy successes may be more dangerous than his “failures.” Back in 2005, Senator Barack Obama urged the Ukrainians to drastically reduce their conventional weapons, including anti-aircraft missiles and tons of ammunition.
