Snatching Defeat From The Jaws
Of Victory ... Again?

The Republican Party is set to reap a virtual bumper crop of votes from the “Obamasick” electorate in November increasing their numbers in the US House of Representatives and securing control of the US Senate ... unless ... they push through an Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill known as Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Look. You can slice it and dice it, twist it and turn it, and it STILL means amnesty. I have no degree from the ivy covered ivory towers of academia, but I have enough smarts to know that for the GOP to go after the Hispanic vote is a lost

They say you cannot save someone who doesn´t want to be saved. If they are hell bent on ending their life, they will find a way to end it.

That apparently is true about political parties.

I blame the leadership, Boehner and McConnell. Not to mention Eric Cantor, and others at the top tier of so-called Leadership.

Throw them all out if we want to survive as a Representative Republic.

Move the center of power out of Boomtown. The richest counties in the country are also the most vile and corrupt.

Even though that´s all he does, Obama isn´t good at campaigning; his speeches are emotional and have no substance. They are effective with the lo-fos because they hear what they want to hear.

He IS good at lying, corruption, political paybacks and threatening people who don´t go along with his idiocy. He has the economic prowess of a 3-year-old who figured out how to break his brother´s piggy bank.

As for the Republican Party, things aren´t bad enough yet to prompt us to throw out all the fossils and convince the voters that conservative values are the only thing that will save this country now. This year could be the turning point .

I saw my first propaganda advertisement, a pro GOP Immigration plan this morning while watching Fox News. It was paid for by a group called Americans for a Conservative Direction.
I went to their website to see who was involved. Board members are: Haley Barbour; Sally Bradshaw, former chief of staff to Jeb Bush; Joel Kaplan, former deputy chief of staff to President GW Bush; Dan Señor, former chief advisor to Paul Ryan; Rob Jesmer, former Director @ the NRSC 2008-2012. Small world isn´t it?
They are selling this plan as a way "to strengthen our economy." Look for more spots on TV today. The GOP is going all out.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee is mad as hell, and it’s not going to take it anymore. This is the third election cycle in a row where incumbent Republicans and the NRSC’s hand-picked candidates have faced stiff primary challenges funded by Tea Party groups. No less than Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell is being primaried, and he’s made it clear what he plans to do to groups going after the national GOP. “I think we are going to crush them everywhere,” McConnell told the New York Times on March 8. “I don’t think they are going to have a single

A top Republican campaigning for immigration reform is warning that America needs at least 1 million more immigrants every year just for basic farming and construction jobs, not ban like some in the party are advocating. Carlos Gutierrez, Commerce secretary under former President George W. Bush, said that without more immigrants, businesses won´t be able to grow because there aren´t enough workers available. And helping them could boost the Republican Party, added the former Kellogg Co. executive. Speaking at a Republican confab, he said that comprehensive immigration reform passed in the Senate and rejected by

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), who has been a staunch supporter of American workers and against amnesty, argued that Republicans can frame Democrats as the party that favors elites at the expense of working Americans only if they make a clean break from amnesty legislation that lowers Americans´ wages and threatens their jobs. In an op-ed at National Review, Sessions wrote that after Mitt Romney "lost lower and middle-income voters by an astonishing margin," the GOP´s "brilliant consultant class" decided they would promote an amnesty agenda that would hurt these voters even more. In his analysis of Florida Republican David Jolly´s special election win over Democrat Alex Sink on Tuesday, Republican establishment strategist Karl Rove failed to fully acknowledge the importance of both mobilizing the Republican base for this fall´s midterm elections and opposing amnesty. In an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal on Thursday, Rove wrote that Jolly´s win showed that "ObamaCare is a potent issue that hurts Democrats badly but isn´t sufficient by itself." Actions speak louder than words, and Congress’ actions over 113th session demonstrate a bipartisan unwillingness to get runaway federal spending under control. An early indication was Congress’s actions on the Hurricane Sandy bill, a bloated, $50 billion pork-barrel spending bill that was ostensibly intended to help northeastern states recover from the storm. Due to its dubious emergency designation, spending in the bill didn’t count against the spending caps put in place by the 2010 Budget Control Act. Consequently, opportunistic Members of Congress from both political parties seized the chance to attach tens of billions

Hours after an on-air meltdown over immigration, Rep. Ellmers, under fire on amnesty from calm but insistent questioning from Ingraham, called her host “small minded,” “ignorant,” and claimed to be the author of a ubiquitious immigration talking point, adopting the third person to say “Renee Ellmers thinks for herself.”

If you ever wanted to know why pro-amnesty Republicans failed to get immigration reform passed, Thursday´s immigration panel at CPAC was a great place to start. Not that the panel itself was against immigration reform. It was definitely for it. Including moderator-lobbyist Mercy Viana, the panel consisted of four pro-amnesty speakers (Viana, Helen Krieble of the Krieble Foundation, Alfonso Aguilar of Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, and the Rev. Luis Cortes), while featuring only one anti-amnesty voice (The Heritage Foundation´s Derrick Morgan). The pro-amnesty slant of the speakers, however, was not a surprise. One of our planes is missing. That’s basically all we know for certain right now, but more than a week after losing contact with flight MH370, there are a lot of other suggestive bits of information. Unfortunately, a lot of it is, as usual, being reported by news readers who barely understand that you don’t want to keep the pointy end aimed at the ground for an extended time. Here’s some things we do know now. The first indication of trouble was when the transponder stopped responding to radar. This is the point where newspeople are saying it “dropped off the radar,”
