Glass House: MSNBC Anchor Laments
´Dehumanization´ of Reporters

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by John Nolte

Original Article

NBC News Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd, who also anchors MSNBC´s "The Daily Rundown," sat down with MSNBC´s Andrea Mitchell Tuesday to lament "how we communicate in politics." Todd was commenting on Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY) threatening a reporter Tuesday night. “I’ve been fearing confrontations like this more often,” Todd said. "There is a dehumanization going on. There’s some opinion folks trying to dehumanize politicians and other reporters.” While Todd himself admirably refrains from the flamethrower rhetoric that drives much of the rest of MSNBC and hosts one of the rare information-driven hours on the network, just a few hours

Comments:
It really is laughable to see moronic statements like this. The statement that they live in their own little bubble is absolutely true. Unfortunately, too many people get their "news" from these idiots.

It is sad when a person has no idea that he/she is biased beyond belief and will do and say anything to reinforce that bias. The whole crew at NBC and MSNBC have drunk the koolaid for so long that it has distorted permanently the reality of what´s happening. They try so hard to make all of their wishes to come true when in fact their wishes are really just delusions. Chuck and Brian and Rachel are just the most recent examples of "faux humans" trying to convince everyone that they are "just reporting" the facts. The Peacock has now become a crow!!!

Marco Rubio Shakes Up Staff And

Fox News Latino, by Staff    Original Article

Marco Rubio is beefing up his political action committee, making significant high-level changes to it and his senatorial staff. The changes are intensifying speculation that Rubio – who many thought that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney would pick to be his vice president in 2102 – is preparing the terrain for the 2016 presidential race. Publicly, Rubio, a Florida Republican, has said he has not yet decided whether to aim for the White House in two years, or whether he’ll seek re-election to the Senate. His announcement, on his website, suggested he might be looking at running in 2016, but stopped short of

Survey shows ObamaCare sending

A recent survey of 148 insurance brokers shows that ObamaCare is sending premiums rising at the fastest clip in decades. "For the last, about, five years they´ve been doing this survey, so this was the largest percentage increase in any quarter since they´ve been doing (it)," says Scott Gottlieb of the American Enterprise Institute. "But at 12 percent, 11 percent increase on average across all the states -- that puts it at the upper end of any increase we´ve seen for decades." That is the national average in a survey done by Morgan Stanley. But in some states, it found rates are soaring. "There are specific states with exorbitant increases," says Gottlieb.

Bill O’Reilly invited Fox News contributor Brit Hume onto The O’Reilly Factor Monday night to expand on comments he made about Attorney General Eric Holder and race over the weekend. Hume said the reaction to his comments about Holder and President Barack Obama “benefitting enormously” because of their race was equal parts positive and negative, with about half of people on Twitter calling him “racist” because there were no African-Americans present for the debate on Fox News Sunday. “In other words, in order to discuss this, you have to have an African-American present,” Hume added. “But if you’re just white,

4 We told you a few weeks back that the Obama Administration was prepared to take an astonishing step of surrender, even for this crew, in giving up control of the Internet’s domain name system. That would threaten the Internet’s independence as it would create an opportunity for regimes far less friendly to freedom to step in and gain power and influence. Well, this idea was so horrendous that even Bill Clinton, in addition to 35 Republican senators, spoke up and told the administration not to do it, as well as a great many other voices. Guess what. You’ll be glad to know there is still some responsiveness in government,

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Service is prepared to rewrite a proposed rule regulating the political activities of non-profit groups to address complaints from the right and left that it goes too far, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said Monday. "In all likelihood we will re-propose a redefined rule and ask for more public comment," Koskinen told USA TODAY´s Capital Download. It´s a process he predicts will take "until the end of the year and beyond" to complete. The proposed regulation of groups known as 501(c)(4)s drew a record 150,000 comments before the deadline in late February. He said the new rule would

Google has acquired drone maker Titan Aerospace, the Wall Street Journal reports. Titan is a New Mexico-based company that makes high-flying solar powered drones. There´s no word on the price Google paid, but Facebook had been in talks to acquire the company earlier this year for a reported $60 million. Presumably, Google paid more than that to keep it away from Facebook. It sounds like Titan will work on a variety of projects for Google. Titan will be able to collect photos from around the planet from high up, which could help with Google Earth and Google Maps. It will also contribute to Google's Project Loon,

Glaring limits of the Civil Rights

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Several of the incidents featured multiple shootings with multiple victims. Many were gang related. Chicago´s murder rate had been down over last year´s rates and some have errantly pegged the drop in murder rates to the fact that

Attorney General Eric Holder spoke out last week on his treatment by Congress, with the implication that it may have to do with his race. However, Holder cleared up to The Huffington Post that his comments were not about race, they were meant to reflect the current level of partisan “incivility” in Washington. The media buzzed for days about whether Holder played the race card, but the attorney general explained HuffPost last Friday, “I didn’t say there was a racial component. I was very careful not to say that.” When he was talking about his unfair treatment to Al Sharpton‘s National Action

When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
