MSNBC Slimes ´Right Wing´ as Racist

Forced to Apologize

Less than a month after Melissa Harris-Perry´s tear-drenched apology for a panel discussion on her MSNBC program which mocked Mitt Romney´s adopted black grandson, the cable network again had to apologize on Wednesday, this time for an online post (now deleted) that unjustly accused conservatives of being against interracial marriage and reproduction. An anonymous writer on MSNBC´s official Twitter account wrote: "Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family." Conservative commentator Michelle Malkin led the charge against the inflammatory Tweet, encouraging her followers to post photos of their

The leftwing would react very differently to this ad if the mom was a black American woman and the father was a white American man. Black woman are not allowed to date much less marry white men.

I´m no marketing expert, but why would you use a mythical creature to market cereal? I refer of course to the dedicated, african-american father in a nuclear family.

The marketing firm must not be from Chicago.

I haven´t seen the second commercial, but isn´t this the same family in the commercial where the little girl pours the Cheerios on her sleeping dad?

If so, isn´t the mother in the commercial White and the dad Black?

The true crime is the subjugation of the black race by Democrats all over the country. The Democrats (the true Klansmen) once again found a way to enslave blacks, all it took was a few lousy bucks and no dad in the home to protect his family.

Agreed #12. No, #11, it isn´t but it could be considered racist to claim that a father figure is a mythical creature in the household. Folks, we need to stop generalizing like the left does. Yes, there is a problem and it needs acknowledging. Yes, the Demonrats and leftists destroyed the black nuclear family but we shouldn´t assume that all black families are now dysfunctional either. Generalizing, grouping, categorizing, labeling, etc...these are what prejudiced leftists and Democrats do. Let´s go back to looking at people as individuals and NOT making assumptions based on generalizations. Let´s also acknowledge the problems that DO exist in the general groups, however, and address them so we can get past the issues that the bigots created and stop the divisiveness.

#13 articulated my point better than I could have. Apologies to #6, the klan remark was a cheap shot. I don´t deny that there is a problem in the black community in regards to absent fathers. But, the comment you made doesn´t help, it only gives ammo to the left to point and say "see, them lucianne´ers are racist".

I don´t give a hoot if your married to a black, white, yellow, or green, that there is a mother AND a father is whats important for kids.

US autism estimate

The government’s estimate of autism has moved up again to 1 in 68 U.S. children, a 30 percent increase in two years. But health officials say the new number may not mean autism is more common. Much of the increase is believed to be from a cultural and medical shift, with doctors diagnosing autism more frequently, especially in children with milder problems. “We can’t dismiss the numbers. But we can’t interpret it to mean more people are getting the disorder,” said Marisela Huerta, a psychologist at the New York-Presbyterian Center for Autism and the Developing Brain in suburban White Plains, N.Y.

The state with the most segregated public schools is New York. Other states with exceptionally segregated schools include California, Illinois and Michigan. These findings come from a longitudinal study of enrollment figures conducted by the Civil Rights Project at the University of California at Los Angeles, The Associated Press reports. The period studied was 1998 through 2010. New York, California, Illinois and Michigan are traditionally among the most reliably Democratic states in the union, as an interactive 2012 map created by Slate shows.

A law firm hired by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Thursday that the governor was not involved in a plot to create gridlock near a major bridge as part of a political retribution scheme. Russian forces completed their take over of the Ukrainian navy’s assets in Crimea with the storming of the minesweeper Cherkessy. The Ukrainian navy has been reduced to only 10 vessels, with the other 51 it held at the beginning of this month, including its only submarine, now flying the Russian flag. But of all the Ukrainian military assets Russia has seized during the annexation, none is quite as unusual as the combat dolphin program. The photographs show American users of cocaine, heroin, oxy-codone and crystal meth in various stages of addiction. The before shots all show healthy-looking individuals prior to their becoming involved in substance abuse. Late on Tuesday night, the White House “decided to give extra time” to prospective Affordable Care Act enrollees. At least, that’s how The Washington Post put it, though it is unlikely that the changes they made to the ACA’s online infrastructure was the result of a spur–of–the–moment decision. Administration officials maintain that they are simply giving consumers who may be interested in insurance, but have not yet selected or paid for coverage, an extra two weeks to complete the arduous enrollment process. They add that this extension is only available to those who have begun the process of enrollment by March

As part of its plan to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, the Obama administration is targeting the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in their operations. This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas. When atheist director and co-writer Darren Aronofsky promised that his epic "Noah" would be "the least biblical film ever made," that was not hyperbole. "Noah" is a brilliant, compelling, beautifully-mounted, beautifully-acted piece of storytelling conceived for the sinister purpose of leading people to believe that Christianity and Judaism are something they are not.
