MSNBC Accuses ´Rightwing´
of Hating Biracial Family in
Super Bowl Cheerios Ad

Breitbart.com, by Jeffrey Poor

Original Article

Posted By:CarrotFarmer87, 1/29/2014 10:34:54 PM

On Wednesday night, the official MSNBC Twitter account posted a tweet celebrating General Mills’ decision to air a biracial commercial touting Cheerios during this Sunday’s Super Bowl. However, that tweet came at the expense of suggesting “the rightwing” was racist. Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new#Cheerios ad w/ biracial family. http://on.msnbc.com/1dPgQEU The commercial titled “Gracie” is part two of last year’s popular “Just Checking” commercial for Cheerios, with the father this time using Cheerios to explain to “Gracie” she will soon have a younger sibling.

Comments:
The lunatics at MSNBC must intentionally try to rile up the right. It doesn´t make any sense to spew this sort of stuff for any other reason.

How can MSNBC impugn "the right wing" with no basis? Who has ever complained about these commercials, which are aired quite often? No matter; MSNBC needs to merely suggest and it must be so.

Cheerios have been favorites since sponsoring The Lone Ranger on the radio!!! There is nothing wrong with Cheerios nor their commercial. The hate speech, ´flame-throing,´ by the twits at msnbc are responsible for themselves. ...Their low ratings reflect the public´s reaction to such continuing irrational rants.

Don´t they look like America today ?

Cheerios has been running a coy television ad, at least in Southern California, with an interracial family of three. Whether I agree with the social message or not is immaterial---- I resent being hit over the head with it at breakfast. Cheerios needs to stick with ads touting the wonders of the cereal. Cheerios was heretofore one of my two cold cereals of choice. No more.

The Right, in my opinion, doesn´t have a problem with biracial families.

But the people that put this ad together had to purposely get a black man, white woman, and a girl that is bi-racial.

For what reason? It´s a breakfast cereal. It´s like they are trying to say look, the family is CHANGING!!!!

Wow. Perhaps they should just let families be families, whatever color they are, and stop trying to socialize ideas on their commercials.

We get it, there are biracial kids. Now sell the cereal.

Replace the family with a gay couple, the company making sure it goes on during the Super Bowl, and then get back to us.

I must have seen that commercial a couple dozen times before I realized it was "controversial."

I´m in the "Who Cares" camp...though I get those who are tired of the left thinking they´re poking us with sticks, expecting some reaction only neanderthals have.

(Personally, I wish we´d finally get the races all mixed up so the left would stop TALKING about it!)

#13, try a reading comprehension course.

If you question the PC aspect of this, I said, simply substitute the bi-racial couple with a gay couple and see it promoted during the biggest viewership event and then it should be obvious.

Do I have a problem with biracial couples? I could care less. But if you can´t see the smarmy PC social engineering aspect of this, I can´t help you with your eye sight.

Let me make it easy for you. Why would a cereal company inject race in an ad? Isn´t it about cereal?

While Black folks make up about 12% of the population of the USA, these days almost every commercial on TV routinely features black people. Chances are the liberal advocacy groups and the Obama crew are pushing the corporations to feature black people in their commercials. One thing is for sure, black folks have no claim that they are not getting their share of face time on TV these days.

They are also featuring a lot of Hispanics in commercials, and to ensure that the viewing public realizes that the actors are Hispanics, somewhere in the commercial they will usually make mention of the actor´s Spanish name and/or the character will speak with either a Spanish accent or with a Southwestern Latino dialict. Just yesterday for the first time I heard a completely Spanish language commercial on what before that was a English language radio station, no doubt those Spanish language commercials will start showing up on the English language TV networks pretty soon. All that is just part of the liberals mission to transform America.

Back wen I was a kid it he early 60´s I had a liberal uncle who would let loose after about 12 "American" brand beers. It always made his diatribe that the only way to get rid of racism is intermintermgling couples by race...

I also saw a liberal say on a CSPAN forum on race in America, that the biracial kid inherits the civility gene from the mom of course and tones down his negro features, making them less threatening..

I´m very much in favor of decent white couples adopting black kids. But I´m not so hot on the marriages because the kid will be taunted in school about it and the kid could also wind up in a single mom household.

The little girl is adorable, button cute, and when dad wakes up from his nap and the Cheerios go flying, it´s a smiley-face moment.

#25 hits the nail on the head. In nearly every instance where a bi-racial family is shown it is a black man with a white wife. Ask a black woman who is married to a white man what kind of flak she gets from the left and in the black community. Some people just don´t see the manipulation by the media, no matter how obvious. I´m always amazed by the number of people who don´t recognize the bias in the Kneepad Media.

Regarding the Cheerios commercial, no one cares, except, of course, the moonbat left. They are decendants of the original Democrat Ku Klux Klan and love the racial strife.

Conservatives and Tea Party types are not opposed to mixed race marriages. Get over it, moonbats.

Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.

With Easter soon approaching, the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday drew parallels between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of President Obama’s political career. Joining the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Mr. Sharpton said that his message for this Easter is that “no matter what the world may do to you unfairly, no matter how you’re crucified — nailed to the cross at home, or in your personal relationships, or on the job — that you can rise if you don’t lose yourself during the hard times and the challenges.” The reverend went on to say that Christ endured so much humiliation and unearned suffering leading up to his death,
