Hillary Clinton drives down memory

New Orleans — Hillary Rodham Clinton’s history with cars is nearly as colorful as her political background. The former secretary of state, first lady and U.S. senator revealed Monday in a speech at the National Automobile Dealers Association conference that her first car was an Oldsmobile Cutlass, she has not driven since 1996 — and that husband Bill Clinton’s 1970 Opel was “one of the ugliest cars ever built.” Clinton said she paid $220 for a 1963 Olds Cutlass to get around at Yale law school. But the car quickly developed problems. “I concluded it was cold and the battery would get cold,

Article provides much more detail than the one posted earlier today.

The woman can´t help but lie. Does anyone believe (for even a second) that she knew how to remove and install a car battery, or that she was strong enough to lug it back and forth to her dorm? Those big V8s used enormous batteries.

She does mention Bill´s Astroturf-carpeted El Camino, omitting the part where he´d brag about the knee burns he´d get while sporting with random floozies.

She may get to be proud of Bill someday.

Hillary Clinton can´t recall any of the reasons she was frantically searching Vince Foster´s safe in the hours after he was found dead in Fort Marcy Park.

Hillary Clinton can´t recall exactly what deals she made with Webb Hubbel.

But Hillary can easily remember her first car....

I´m with the Orig. Poster. No way did Hillary take the car battery out, ever, and bring it inside.

I´ve done that with farm tractors a few times in depths of winter. Very heavy beast, dirty too. And if she really did it, she would have mentioned the battery post cleaner (wire brush for the connections), which you do before you start carrying the thing inside.

They just can´t stop lying.

Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican.
