Security at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi continues to be a top concern for Americans traveling to Russia, though lawmakers and other public figures are trying not to cause a mass panic by urging people to stay home. (Snip) In particular, McCaul said al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has called for a global jihad against the Olympics. “There’s never been this connection between Pakistan, Afghanistan and Chechen rebels before. Although, some would argue there´s been support. But for the first time, Zawahiri coming out and endorsing, blessing and calling for this global jihad against the Olympics, wow, that gives

Detente and glasnost aside, I can´t imagine any scenario where Putin would happily show his honor and respect for the USA. The winter olympics is ALL about Putin (silly Obama thinks it´s all about Obama).

The world is afraid and Muslim terrorists know it. Obama will not answer an attack the way Bush did. God forbid, but if the worst happens, who will really go after them? The force it would be required to take them down for good, is unpalatable to the west. Therefore, we will learn to "deal" with the treats, and ultimately the death and destruction they are determined to deliver on us. We should have flattened Afghanistan and made it clear the same thing would happen after every attack. It may have been terribly harsh, but in the long run, it would have been effective. Now they are close to going nuclear and who in their right mind doubts their willingness to do the unthinkable.

For reasons I have never understood, the PC world of the left put these Muslim thugs right behind the American Blacks as people the USA should help, not hold accountable and ignore facts relating to their uncivil actions.

I understand the left/msm thinking on the American Black...the, vote, the vote. After fifty years of lefty programs they have all but destroyed the Black family but they have the vote locked down.

For over thirteen centuries the Muslims have been an existential threat to the West in their quest for a worldwide Caliphate. This is not a new threat, nor is the effective response unknown or untried. We have multiple examples of the West repelling the Mohammedan invaders from Charles Martel and the Battle of Tours in 732, to the victory at Granada in 1492, to the Battle of Lapanto in 1571, to Thomas Jefferson and the First Barbary War in 1801-05. Every time that the Muslims were met with a dedicated force firm in the defense of their territory they have been defeated and retreated. Every time the West has ignored or minimized Islamic aggression, such as the fall of Byzantium in 1453, they have been defeated.

Today the West mimics Byzantium with moribund bureaucracies complacent in their wealth and prosperity, arrogant about their secure place in world, and unable to arouse a robust self-defense. The post-modern West has abandoned its strong Judeo-Christian heritage in exchange for a mushy secular humanism that recoils from any recognition that we are in a religious war. This is why we have a War on Terror rather than the more appropriate War Against Islam. After decades of deconstruction of our language and philosophies we describe the modern Islamic threat in terms of tactics rather than openly define the enemy and its goals.

The radical Marxist students protesters of the 1960s and 70s marched to the slogan, “Hey, hey, ho, ho, Western Civ has got to go.” It appears that they will get their wish.

´McCaul said the U.S. has diplomatic security corps, FBI agents and other officials to help with security.´

I see, are these the same security organizations that protected our diplomatic personnel in Benghazi. Real security starts from the top down, and terrorists need to know that that retaliation for attacks will be swift and devastating. That isn´t going to happen with our present non government.

Since our leadership is pro Muslim, I don´t expect any interruption of the Islamic terrorist agenda. Our government is too involved in spying on us to protect to bother with real terrorists.

After all, wrecking our medical system, giving amnesty to illegal criminals and spending ourselves into financial oblivion is job one in DC, so live with the results of complete incompetence.

The IOC is as bad as the corrupt U.N. who see the world through rose colored glasses and ignore the real terror threats from Muslims all over the world. Sochi should never, ever been chosen as the site for the Olympics. How much did Putin bribe them? Even the NYT was critical of this choice. Now that´s surprising.

It´s time for the commies in our gummint to show Solidarity with Putin,
the crime boss of the former communist Soviet Union, now posing as "Russia."

So let´s have our "home-grown" Wannabe Kommie Dicktater and Moochelle,
plus those amazing diplomats on the world scene Hill-err-ee-ass Herself
and sidep.rick Billyboobboob Klintoon...
all go to Sochi ASAP for some selfies and pressers that will boost Vladimir, their Soviet Soulmate.

If the "wurst" should happen...
and no, I don´t mean a selfie sent from Sochi by Anthony Wiener
from the pole-vaulting venue, if ya know what I mean...
that´ll be trumpeted in the Wall Street Urinal, no doubt...

But... if a Benghazi-like "wurst" should happen to these intrepid
AmeriKan diplomats, at least we´ll know that they´ve made the ultimate sacrifice
for their nation by biting the dust amongst Komrades in arms on foreign soil.

It couldn´t happen to a better Krewe of Wannabe Kommie Dicktaters.
Putin can then fulfill the age-old promise of his prescient predecessor,
Nikita Khruschev... who so wisely observed...

"We will bury you... !!"

Ahhhh, if only it were so...
So many promises, so few kept...

“On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist

´8THEIST´ license plate in NJ: Why

If you can get a New Jersey vanity license plate that reads “BAPTIST,” why not one that reads “8THEIST”? That’s the question Shannon Morgan, a self-describe atheist, is asking in a lawsuit after the New Jersey department of motor vehicles denied her vanity plate application. Her main complaint is a bureaucracy deeming that “8THEIST” has connotations that offend “good taste and decency,” the bar which the state uses to judge the suitability of personalized plate messages. She also wants the state to adopt a more “viewpoint-neutral” vanity plate approval policy, since when she typed “BAPTIST” into the DMV application it

It had been scheduled for a vote Wednesday evening in the Senate, where the party holds a slim one-seat majority. The move came after Sen.
