Justin Bieber´s Panamanian getaway appears to be the perfect setting for an intervention.Usher, who discovered the 19-year-old pop star in 2009, has reportedly flown down to Nitro City, a resort in Punta Chame, Panama, to be with his prodigy. He was joined by Bieber´s manager Scooter Braun and childhood friend Ryan Butler, TMZ reports.Several excited "Beliebers" tweeted sightings of the singer´s "original crew" in Panama, which apparently refers to the people who surrounded the pop star in the beginnings of his career. Before his arrest Thursday, rumors that Bieber´s drinking and drug abuse had gotten out of control began to surface

Better yet, get the kid some help. More than likely his visa will be pulled and he will have to go back to Canada anyways. Don´t understand the hatred that comes out here by some posters when certain articles are posted.

Look at it this way, a healthy and productive Beiber creates lots of jobs and revenue. If ya don´t like his music, don´t listen.

The father who left him as a child is back with a vengeance to destroy him.
Seems 38 year old deserter has returned for the "good times"and is leading Justin to a downward spiral.
Get him some help.
As OP said, a healthy and productive Bieber creates a lot of jobs.

He would have to be charged with and found guilty of a serious felony before his work visa would be pulled.

Why wasn´t the father arrested? That´s what I would like to know.

If there is anyone around him who truly cares about him, they will get him under lock and key, detox him and get him into some serious psychotherapy.

Unfortunately, it´s the people "around him" who seem to be doing the damage. Usher and Scooter need a whip and a chair to run the hangers-on away and get the child the help he needs. Whether he ever sings another note in his life, he´s a human being and not to be thrown away if he will accept the fact that he´s got a serious problem and accept help.

When in trouble, travel. Head off to Panama where there are no limits to how much you can drink or how much weed you can smoke or how many drugs you can do. Better yet get all of your enabling friends to come along that will party with you and not guilt trip you into rehab. This kid will not stop until some maid discovers his dead body in a hotel room. Alcoholism and drug addiction is progressive and fatal. This kid has one foot in a coffin and the other on a greased banana peel.

The pre-teen and teen idols of the 1950´s were seemingly of a different breed, whether they actually had any talent or not. Fabian couldn´t sing, but was signed because he looked like a cross between Elvis and Ricky Nelson. Pretty faces do not equal talent.

Bieber´s under-age. If his father is present while Justin is imbibing, or committing other crimes, dear old dad should be charged too.

He wasn´t around to raise the kid, but now he wants a piece of the action. Disgusting.

Former Pope Benedict, in one of the few times he has broken his silence since stepping down nearly a year ago, has branded as "absurd" fresh media speculation that he was forced to quit.Church law says a pope´s resignation is valid only if he takes the decision in full freedom and without pressure from others. "There is absolutely no doubt regarding the validity of my resignation from the Petrine ministry," Benedict, 86, who now has the title "pope emeritus," said in a letter to the Italian website Vatican Insider published on Wednesday. Super Bowl-bound Justin Bieber arrived at a New Jersey airport Friday on a charted jet that reeked of marijuana — and he spent hours in federal custody while the aircraft was searched, law-enforcement sources said. But the pint-sized pothead, who according to reports burns through $8,000 a week of weed, was released from custody at Teterboro Airport when drug-sniffing canine cops came up empty. As part of its plan to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, the Obama administration is targeting the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in their operations. This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas. Some of these methane emissions come from

U.S. President Barack Obama and Pope Francis met Thursday for the first time at Vatican City, offering a chance for a reset of sorts between the administration and Catholic leadership following years of strained relations. The two world leaders greeted each other with a smile and a handshake, and posed for pictures before sitting down across a table from each other. The goal of the meeting: Focus on areas where two of the world´s most influential men agree and gently tread ground where they differ. One by one, the myths of the Affordable Care Act have been revealed. When the curtain on open enrollment falls on March 31, the last remaining big myth of ObamaCare will be fully exposed: The individual mandate has failed. After a last-ditch effort with President Obama himself encouraging "young invincibles" to sign up before the deadline, the administration is scrambling to boost enrollment. On Tuesday, the White House announced that people who applied for coverage on the federal health-insurance exchange will have until mid-April to finish the paperwork. When Jorge Mario Bergoglio became Pope Francis a little more than a year ago, the first thing that struck those who knew him well was his unexpected, beatific smile. “In Argentina, he didn’t smile like that,” Sergio Rubin, the pope’s biographer, said this week at a conference sponsored by the Ethics and Public Policy Center. “That was the big surprise.” Since then, the pope has mostly kept on smiling — in homilies, in audiences, in meetings with the homeless and the poor. If you look at the pictures from Francis’ meeting with President Obama on Thursday, though, the smile is there only some of the time.
