She was supposedly spending the night "under observation". They didn´t observe her very well. People do crazy things after general anesthesia and they do need to be monitored. It´s absurd that she made it off the floor the clinic is on.

The Plastic surgeon and anesthesiologist are responsible for this woman´s post op care.
People do crazy things post op which is why the doctor is supposed to monitor her.
Tragic.
Husband is a PS. What are this doctors credentials?

Sounds like the A-listers need to do better vetting.

McGill University is good and it has a plastic surgery division:

http://www.medicine.mcgill.ca/plasticsurgery/

But this guy is purportedly 59 and he has purportedly 34 years of experience in plastic surgery. That does not compute.

After basic med school, the specialization in plastic surgery is relatively long. His self-posted data shows that he specializes in faces. Not body work.

I wonder.

I fear that the "A-Listers" do their vetting by word-of-mouth. They admire a friend´s "looking rested" and find out that a skilled surgeon did a great (virtually undetectable) surgical procedure on their face.

That said, many prominent American doctors have McGill medical school educations.

This is what happens when staff is cut. Post op meds make people do strange things some times. Anyone who has a loved one needing surgery should make arrangements to have a family member present for the first 24 hours after the surgery, or hire a private duty nurse. DO NOT count on hospital staff.

Seriously, so many people who undergo plastic surgery already have such serious mental health issues, it´s often difficult to determine cause and effect (e.g. Michael "perderast" Jackson)

The drug company and the Dr´s know this but still they prescribe them I´ve known three people that was given Ambien and all three went bonkers. Two could have ended in deaths, it was that bad. The family of this woman needs to get their hands on her hospital records and do it quick because they will be changed.
