What a Governor Davis Would Really Mean
Fort Worth Star-Telegram, by Richard Greene

Original Article

How about we get back to the big picture of what’s at stake with a Wendy Davis victory in November? The revelation of Wendy’s departure from truth in the accounts of her early life has spread across the country. Does that mean she has lost the media’s adoring obsession with her? Absolutely not. Watch now as they adopt her campaign strategy to cry foul, blame her opponent and accuse others of dirty tricks. They aren’t about to give up the best chance they’ve had to turn the state blue since Jimmy Carter.

The national lib media out to save Abortion Barbie with their millions of dollars of out of state donations.

In Donk World, each new star must be better and more exciting than their predecessors. Which means more mysterious, more devious and more "troubled."

So the question is, does this nasty person now have more Dem Creds than Obama, with all his mysterious secrets, anti-Americanism and troubling affiliations, as well as 666 with her head count of dead crackers both now and when she was in the WH last time as well as her other dark "accomplishments?"

This article is correct it is all about the 38 electoral votes in Texas. If the liberal Democrats could swing Texas into the permanent Democrat column like they did with California, the Republicans would have absolutely no chance of ever winning future presidential elections.

The Democrats know that there are a huge number of illegal aliens now in Texas, and that if they could legalize them by way of an amnesty, that in the years ahead about 85% of those legalized aliens who will go on to attain US voting rights would eventually become Democrat voters just as has happened in the past. Once that happens the Democrats could easily use all those foreign born and largely socialist oriented voters to cancel out the votes of a lot of Republican and conservative voters.

Those of you who aren´t familiar with the Startle-gram should know that it´s not the newspaper I grew up with. When the Carter family owned it, we all loved the Star-Telegram because it reflected our neighbors, our town, our hopes, and most importantly, our political views. When the Carters sold out several years ago, everything went halfway to h**l. Since then, it has sold again and things went the rest of the way. Between the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram these days, there is not an inch of political difference. I subscribe to them both, because my husband likes the Morning News sports pages and I still read the S-T because I grew up with it. I do a lot of letter to the editor writing, however.

Pay no attention to what they think of Wendy Davis. After she sued the paper for hurting her feelings and her case was giggled out of three courts, the Star-Telegram endorsed her in her next race.

Thanks or the memories, #7--grew up in (well, around) FW, my folks still live there. Exactly spot-on re the Startlegram, but I have to say, the paper was always in love with Jim Wright (big feather in FW´s cap, you know, being the home district of the Speaker of the House), I think that even included the days of Carter family ownership. Can´t bear to read the thing now when I go visit my mom and folks there.

Getting caught out in a self-serving, banal lie has long been a resume-enhancer on the liberal Left. Lying is in their genes. It´s what they do.

At the genetic level it´s the creative part of the DNA which, at the whole human level, is supposed to be reined to fit reality. But liberals have always had such a hard time with reality. It´s more fun, and a lot easier, just to rearrange the facts to suit your fancy, than to adapt to reality like a real person.

Hence liberals hang out in fantasy-person land as caricatures rather than real people. Then they accuse conservatives of doing that to try to cover their tracks. But reality won´t cooperate. Reality has this annoying tendency to expose bullscheise.

Three days after the bloody 9/11 siege on our consulate in Benghazi, the Taliban waged an intricately coordinated, brutal attack on Camp Bastion in Afghanistan. The murderous jihadists released video exactly one month ago this week showing off their training exercises in preparation for the assault. Where are the questions? Where’s the accountability? Where’s the Obama administration? Where’s the press? Where’s the outrage?

Barack Obama will forever be a historic, as well as historical, figure in American life. Candidate Obama, an orator of great skill and cadence, might have overcome everything and put the U.S. on a brighter path. President Obama, unfortunately, fell short of the challenge. We see evidence of Obama’s shortcomings in his re-election campaign, a relentlessly negative push to disqualify his opponent instead of standing on his accomplishments.

Many Americans have been watching with great consternation the ongoing struggle between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Marshals against Cliven Bundy and his family. There are no signs of either side relinquishing their position. Many onlookers have been informed that this dispute is over protecting the desert tortoise. But it is nothing of the sort. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. Hillary Clinton was the planned keynote speaker at the 17th Annual Western Healthcare Leadership Academy in San Diego on April 11 - but she´s cancelled her visit in the midst of planned protests from San Diego locals and military families. Protestors organized by "The Difference Matters" do not want the former U.S. Secretary of State to come because of Clinton´s role in the Benghazi scandal. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the

Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Barack quickly stepped in and grabbed the First Lady´s billowing skirt to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction and embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moment. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!

Recently elected Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is warning that global warming could raise sea levels high enough to flood the Hampton Roads region, home to the world´s largest naval base, without immediate and “smart decisions.” Addressing an environmental summit this week at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va., McAuliffe embraced climate change, blamed humans for causing it, and said action is needed now to protect Virginia´s coast from rising ocean levels that will result from global warming. “The first big decision of course is to accept that climate change is real,” he told the group. “I happen to believe in

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

Nearly a year into the IRS scandal, we still don´t know exactly what happened—though we are finally getting an inkling. That´s thanks to the letter House Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp sent this week to the Justice Department recommending a criminal probe of Lois Lerner. The average citizen might be dizzied by the torrent of confusing terms—BOLO lists, Tigta, 501(c)(4)—and the array of accusations that have made up this IRS investigation. Mr. Camp´s letter takes a step back to remind us why this matters, even as it provides compelling new information that goes to motive and method—and clarifies some of

STAMFORD, Conn. — Jeb Bush defended his controversial comments about immigration reform, insisting they were nothing new for him and urging “sensitivity to the immigrant experience.” At a Connecticut Republican party dinner Thursday night, the former Republican governor of Florida did not repeat his remarks from last weekend at his father’s presidential library, when he said that people who come to the United States illegally in search of a better life for their children “broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love.” This time the potential 2016 candidate put it differently. “To be young and

Coming clearly through the throbbing of helicopters and the roar of the SUVS of the feds harassing the Cliven Bundy Ranch, patriots there for Bundy should “tell it to the judge”. There is mainstream media-suppressed case history in Nevada the feds are desperately trying to keep under wraps. Chief Judge Robert C. President Obama labeled complaints about voter fraud “bogus” and accused Republicans of cynically trying to prevent Americans from accessing the polls in a fiery speech Friday at a civil rights forum hosted by Al Sharpton. Obama argued that attempts in some states to impose new voter identification restrictions were actually efforts by Republicans to make “it harder, not easier to vote.” And the president said that while voter fraud should be prevented, it rarely occurred. “So let´s be clear, the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud,” Obama said.
