´I´m sure she´s beatable´: Mitt Romney opens

Mitt Romney came on the Today Show this morning to weigh in on the security threats facing the Winter Olympics but added his two cents about the prospect of a Republican beating the likely Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, should she decide to run. Asked by Savannah Guthrie on Today whether or not Mrs Clinton is beatable, Romney said: ‘I´m sure she is, because people recognize the country is just not doing what it needs to be doing’. He vehemently denied that he would ever run again after his failed 2012 bit, and then gave off a quick list of possible GOP

Comments:
Willard is correct that Cankles P.I.A.P.S. can effectively be beaten, BUT it MUST be a Social and Fiscal Constitutional Conservative Candidate. NOT someone from the R.I.N.O. herd he cited. Willard´s advise should be taken with a BLOCK of Licking Salt. He claimed that he was the ONLY candidate who could beat Hussein in 2012 and Tokyo Roves resident Screeching Harridan Harpies Also Screeched the same message. Despite garnering nearly 1,000,000 more Votes than McCain in 2008. Willard was too Wimpy to deliver.

Strong, proven Conservatives for me from now on...not an Eastern-Liberal Republican who plays a conservative on TV.

I weep when I think of the path that this country could be on right now. I especially weep for our troops, who have to serve under a leader who has no moral guidance, no competence and little respect for them. I am glad the Gov. Romney makes public appearances so that foolish Obama voters can see and hear this man of competence and sense and contrast him with the moron that they re-elected. May some of them learn to not trust the MSM and seek alternative news sources before the ´14 elections.

Good thinking, #4. The silly hysterics of some posters when describing Mitt Romney should be ignored. Just showing up, looking and speaking like a president is such a contrast to the current squatter in our Oval Office that maybe even the all-caps posters might pay attention.

I´m with #s 4 and 7.

I am much more conservative than Romney, but I think the vitriol aimed and him is counterproductive and, quite childish.

Romney is a decent man who would have made a very good president. He understands business and has a moral compass.

The current occupant of the White House has neither.

Suddenly Romney seems to be all over the news as the wise one who can direct the party in its selection of the next moderate Republican standard-bearer that will be hailed as “the only one who can beat Hillary!”. I’m not impressed with the opinions on who can win by someone who had no confidence in his ability to do the same.

I voted for Mitt because he was obviously more qualified to hold the highest executive office in our country, but he needs (and needed) to do more than just show up, looking and speaking like a president. It would be refreshing if he would articulate the dangers presented to our nation by the lawless regime of the Naked Emperor.

#11, if Romney wasn´t the person to nominate in 2012, who was? And why would that person have been more electable. It´s easy to fling around accusations, but what would you have done differently?

I still believe Mitt Romney was the best of that great big field. He should have won. He didn´t. So, now I will look to 2016 and see if we can improve on our 2012 performance at the polls. How about you?

Do believe the entire point of this article was to show Romney in the light of truth ....what the hell...´he would absolutely send his family to Sochi´ If nothing else tells you anything about the man, this line should open a number of eyes. He would absolutely place his family in certain danger just to show what a ´man´ he is. By ´sending´ them, it suggests he won´t be going. Is this true, Mitt? You would put your family in danger but stay away yourself? Perhaps something has been missed here and just gone over head. Have all our males been turned into alley cats? meow

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey. "Has this changed your view of the mainstream media?" she asked. "No, I´ve always had the same view," Christie said, pointing out that anyone can be the "flavor of the month" in the media. "But I´ve always said to my folks in the party, we don´t get anywhere complaining about it either,"
