Chuck Schumer Calls For The

Investor´s Business Daily, by Editorial

Free Speech: The IRS scandal is not only not over but is getting worse, with a call by New York´s senior senator for the already-politicized agency to use its power to tax to destroy the conservative grass-roots movement. Arguing that the Supreme Court´s 2010 Citizens United decision allowed Tea Party groups to "funnel millions of undisclosed dollars into campaigns with ads that distort the truth and attack government," Charles Schumer wants the IRS and other government agencies to take on the Tea Party through their administrative powers. "It is clear that we will not pass anything legislatively as long as the House

They may be able to muzzle the organized groups, but they will only strengthen the people who consider themselves members.

I don´t belong to any group, but I am a staunch member of the TEA Party.

Why should we grovel to the IRS for tax-exempt status? While it is a financial handicap to operate in a tax-paying fashion, it would not be impossible for TEA party groups to do so. In fact they should wear this as a badge of honor and feature this persecution heavily in their advertising. Make public the ridiculous demands of the IRS and proudly announce that your group will not compromise your principles and are operating at a handicap due to persecution. Believe me many individuals feel the heat from the same persecution and will identify with the situation. Yeah, TEA party groups will have to unfairly pay taxes, but they can still get the word out and support the candidate of their choice. The heck with dancing the Fed´s tune.

The real scandal here is that the GOP is still allowing Dear Leader and his partisan IRS goons to harass and intimidate the opposition (with 100% complicit media approval, of course) which, because the opposition is allowing this, cannot really be called an opposition anymore.

Far worse and more impeachable than Watergate, yet Dear Leader sits securely, babbling on about "income inequality" with Beyonce and Jay-Z. Somewhere, Richard Nixon has disowned the GOP.

I fully expect the IRS to send the obamas a tax bill for millions of dollars for all of the free vacation trips we have provided them. Their tax dodging beats anything that the mafia has done and they both belong behind bars.

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

The departure of Kathleen Sebelius from President Barack Obama’s cabinet removes a focal point for criticism over Obamacare’s troubled rollout, right at a moment when the White House can blunt attacks with enrollment numbers that exceeded targets. Senate confirmation hearings on the president’s choice to succeed Sebelius as Health and Human Services secretary, budget director Sylvia Mathews Burwell, will give Republicans days of media exposure for their criticism of a program that remains unpopular. Those hearings will now be held months ahead of midterm congressional elections, helping diminish the impact on voters. Sebelius’s departure also addresses demands from some Democrats for a change
