Wendy Davis has no future in politics
New York Post, by Naomi Schaefer Riley

Original Article

Want to know why Wendy Davis will have trouble winning higher office in Texas or anywhere else in America? It’s not because she stretched the truth in her “from mobile-home-living single mom to Harvard Law grad” campaign biography, nor because her husband paid for her education, nor even because she placed a lot of value on her career. Nope: It’s because Davis, the Lone Star State senator who became famous for her filibuster of an abortion-limiting bill in Texas, lost custody of her children to her ex-husband. This revelation about Davis’ past, which came to light thanks to reporting by Wayne Slater

Didn´t the older child choose to live with Jeff Davis and her younger sibling rather than with her mother, Wendy? That´s telling, that she would choose her stepfather instead of her mother.

One can only hope that Naomi is correct on this.
No doubt, Wendy wishes that she had exercised her "choice" when she was 19, and disposed of her inconvenient daughter.

Texas has a long history of awarding the children in a divorce to the mother, unless the mother is so negligent, the judge is FORCED to award the children to the husband. Wendy is a media flash in the pan.

I hope she has no future but we´re talking about the Democratic party. She will undoubtedly lose the election but that doesn´t mean she won´t find some high profile position in the party or with the msm. She´s a woman without the usual ugly factor of most Democratic women in politics, she can lie with ease, loves abortions, not big on family, knows how to get publicity and I´m sure she will become a BFF of Bill Clinton in the near future. She is everything I loath about Democrats.

No wonder the diaper toting Wendy is all for abortion. She wishes she could have aborted her kids so they wouldn´t screw up her political career. The husband probably put his foot down on that one. She is nothing more than a power hungry gold digger.

I´ve only met one woman who had had two kids, but the judge awarded sole custody to her ex. She was slightly "not-quite-right" in the head, in my untrained opinion.

I think #7 nailed it; she wanted to terminate the pregnancy, but Jeff was having none of it. I like the way she jettisoned him and the kinder as soon as she graduated. Sadly, many men do that to women, and that is also a crappy thing for them to do.

Why is her political career over?

No one will know of any of this unless they watch FNC or listen to conservative talk radio. The rest of the media will not cover it.

Sadly, women (a majority) will support her simply because she is a woman. And neutered guilt-ridden men will also support her. Then throw in vote totals of more than 125 percent for blacks and she is a shoo-in.

Elizabeth Warren is a US Senator. Charlie Rangle will be re-elected, again. Hillary is the front runner. Thugs and imbeciles like Reid and Schumer run the Congress.

Scandals, lies and evil hearts are not disqualifiers for elected office in our once-great and now declining country.

#14, I see newspapers, wire services, network and cable sites each day. Wendy Davis is being covered. It took a few days for the story to catch up, but she´s all over the place and only Margaret Carlson and NPR are making much effort to apply soap and water. I don´t know if she has a political future nationally, but the slim chance she ever had to win the governship of Texas is now a minus 10 or so. The Dems were counting on her running a credible race and then positioning her for something bigger and better later. That won´t happen now.

More serious to me, is that as an practicing attorney she is an officer of the court and bound to abide by the rules thereof. She perjred herself in a trial! She hasn´t had formal charges filed yet, but from that one act alone, she´s not fit to be the Governor of Texas, or any State.

Her campaign crew is already promising dirty tricks and outright voter fraud. They know they´re in an uphill battle. Meanwhile, AG Abbott hasn´t been too worried, it seems.

Proponents of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) insist that the law will extend health insurance to millions, expand access to health care, and improve Americans’ overall health. But, as the New York Times recently reported, at least 20 percent of the new enrollees have not paid their premiums. They therefore do not really have insurance. But even for those enrollees paying premiums, having health insurance is not the same thing as getting good health care, or any health care. In fact, it doesn’t matter how many Americans obtain insurance under the ACA. Most will have difficulty finding a physician. Many Americans

Exactly forty years ago Patricia Hearst stunned the nation when she turned up as a bank robber, a mere two months after she was kidnapped by the violent cult that called itself “The Symbionese Liberation Army.” Her astonishing transformation was documented by bank cameras on April 15, 1974. There she was — granddaughter of William Randolph “Citizen Kane” Hearst — wielding a sawed-off assault rifle and terrorizing people in a bank. A few years ago, the corruption convictions of several prominent plaintiffs´ lawyers put a spotlight on dishonesty in American civil courts. Now the sleaze has burst back into the news with cases involving Chevron and Dole Food Co., this time with an international twist. Last month, a federal court in Manhattan found that a U.S. plaintiffs´ lawyer had masterminded a multibillion dollar fraud and extortion scheme against Chevron in Ecuador.
