Wendy Davis is being Swift-boated
Bloomberg, by Margaret Carlson

Original Article

In politics, lying is the new sex. Even the lesser sin, exaggeration, is grounds for questions about your suitability to run for office. Americans may be becoming more like the French in tolerating peccadilloes (just ask Rep. Mark Sanford of South Carolina or Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana about surviving a sex scandal), but get a detail wrong about whether you divorced at 21 or at 19, and woe unto you. That’s what happened to Wendy Davis over the weekend. You may know her as the Texas state senator in pink sneakers who delivered an 11-hour filibuster against abortion restrictions in June.

The truth gets out, just like the swift boat commanders truthfull set the record straight about how Kerry LIED.

So yes Margaret is unintentionally correct, but not for the reasons that she thinks.

So a sexual relationship outside of marriage and not with your spouse is a personal, private and confidential time and should not be considered for public discussion. AND lying to get into a political office is a personal, private and confidential time and should not be considered for public discussion. AND abortion is a personal, private and confidential time and should not be considered for public discussion. From the time the we are old enough to know right from wrong we´ve looked over our shoulder and if found out say SHHH!!!. Our parents know the look. As parents we see the look. Employers see employees. Teachers see students wearing the face. NOW we grow old and say SHHH!!! It´s a person private and confidential time and should not be considered for public discussion. WAKE UP. The father of LIES has many adopted children. Who´s side you on??? Who´s your Daddy???

Ah, how wonderful are the euphemisms that cloud the details. Swift boating was what happened when genuine Swift boat members challenged Kerry, who the press, like Margaret Carlson, loved. When their story was told, his lie was exposed. This was swift boating, or challenging a lie and as the Bible tells us, the truth always comes out as did this one. Wendy Davis is not a victim here, she had someone tell the other side of the story. We are not looking the other way for men and not for women. She is not a victim, just a liar who got caught. Save the sob story, Margaret, for all those who will be real victims of Obamacare gone haywire.

In at least one way, Carlson is correct. The Swift-Boaters presented facts about John Kerry which neither he nor his supporters wanted to hear. The DMN and now a whole bunch of media sources are presenting facts about Wendy Davis which she and her supporters had hoped would remain hidden.

The commonality between John Kerry´s presidential campaign and Wendy Davis gubernatorial campaign is that both were based on fraudulent narratives about their life stories and personal histories. Both were challenged and they were exposed as fraudulent narratives intended to deceive voters into believing they were something they were NOT.

Swiftboating is a GOOD thing since it exposes the TRUTH, no matter that Democrats do not wish to acknowledge that it does so.

See Ann Coulter´s recent article at:

Carlson is as happy to accept Wendy Davis´ lies as she has been to accept Obama´s and Biden´s. And when lies were actually fabricated about Palin, she didn´t much object, as I recall, as the media targeted Palin. So, some real lies (from alleged empowered women or Marxist politicians) are "understandable when taken in context"
while others (true or not) are unacceptable if the liar is not a progressive.

Implied Bio - this incredible woman was a full-time mom while working to afford college and Harvard Law and still found the time to study hard enough to graduate.

Actual Bio - after 2 month on her own separated from her first husband, Wendy moved home to her mom who took care of her child while she went to college on scholarship. She then married again and her second husband sold an IRA and paid both for her last 2 years in college and Harvard Law. Together they had a second child that her husband raised along with her first while she was at school. When the last bill was paid Wendy divorced her second husband, granting him custody of both her children, for whom she had insufficient time in her schedule.

Margaret thinks that "women have a tough time in Texas." Just shows how provincial she is in her little spot of the Northeast. Texas had a woman governor long before Margaret was ever born (or maybe she really is that old). In recent years, Texas has had a number of women elected to state-wide office including governor, senator, state treasurer, state comptroller, state agriculture commissioner, railroad commissioner (a powerful office in Texas), and state supreme court. Texas women don´t "have it tough." We´ve got it made. PLUS, we have Texas men. Margaret needs to shut about about things that she doesn´t know about and will never understand - and that includes both Texas men and Texas women.

BUNKERVILLE, NEVADA—The Bundy Ranch roundup has understandably stirred thin-stretched emotions as the federal government seizes cattle belonging to the Bundy family. The family settled in the late 1800’s and has ranched in the area since. The federal government allowed Nevada ranchers to graze their cattle on federal tracts of land adjacent to their private properties for generations. The federal government later created the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to administer and “protect” the vast swaths of federal land—including the land the Bundy family’s livelihood was—and still is—dependent upon. The BLM began restricting ranchers’ usage of federal lands to protect various

A huge wave of public testimony, reports and documents on what happened in Benghazi now floods Washington, and little of it focuses on the role of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton before, on, or after Sept. 11, 2012. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
