Andrew Cuomo´s Soviet America
American Spectator, by Jeffrey Lord

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 1/23/2014 5:31:23 AM

You could call him the governor of a sovereign state. A sovereign state of Soviet America. Andrew Cuomo is not the governor of New York. Andrew Cuomo is the governor of a state of Soviet America. An America that is the land of a government-created Privileged Class. A land where political correctness rules — and people like, say, Sean Hannity or the Robertsons of Duck Dynasty or South Carolina U.S. Senator Tim Scott are not wanted. It is the American version of the late Soviet Union. In fact, this is exactly what Barack Obama has been about when he talked

I could not stand his father. I cannot stand Andrew. Why do New Yorkers vote for these men?

We don´t. It´s the 11,000,000 communists in NYC demanding more freebies who do. They outnumber the rest of us.

Sorry to segue a bit, but for those who think it would be a good idea to get rid of the Electoral College, please take a close look at New York State. The VAST majority of the state opposes Cuomo and what he stands for, but the concentration of people in one city and the surrounding boroughs determine what happens to everyone.

Do you want the people of New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and other large urban cesspools determining the course of the nation as a whole, with no one outside those cities having a voice?

Years ago, his father tried to be a talk radio host to be the voice of the left that Rush is to the right. He didn´t last long. No one wanted to listen to his Socialist agenda. But he taught his son well and now NY has to put up with two Communists in power. If yesterday was an example of Communist rule, NY is in for a downhill ride until they wake up.

Anybody who wants the skinny on Andrew, acknowledged to not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, should look at what he did as head of HUD re: the real estate bubble.......he almost singlehandedly managed mortgages for people totally unqualified, and helped the whole market fall in to the sea. (He also is pro-late term abortion, virtually up to the day of delivery.) And he was behind the infamous "Vote for Como, Not The Homo" campaign when his father ran for governor. What a wonderful, ethical creature.

What was most remarkable, to me, about Cuomo´s rant was the hectoring, sing-song, childish and petulant tone at the end, where he says "If that´s who they are they have no place in the state of New York." It sounds so immature that I can barely believe that a governor of one of the 50 states uttered it. As with all the arrogant and untalented who need to be in charge (in his case, to please Daddy) he is guessing at what it is to be a leader and as with all liberals it boils down, in their uninspired and simple minds, to giving material things to those who submit and diminishing those who don´t. He is an ugly man physically, mentally and spiritually. May Sandra Lee bake him one of her trademark Kwanzaa cakes.

#2 - A better idea than the Electoral College is proportional based upon Congressional Districts. All of NY Electoral Votes went to Obama in spite of 22% of Congressional Districts in NY went Republican.

Six months after a Connecticut woman was killed in a hail of police gunfire on Capitol Hill, the federal investigation remains under wraps, even as new information has surfaced showing she was shot multiple times from behind, including once in the head. Three of the five shots that hit Miriam Carey, 34, entered through her back, and another struck her upper left arm, according to the official report of her autopsy, obtained by a lawyer for her family. An accompanying toxicology report shows that Carey, a dental assistant, had no drugs or alcohol in her system when she was killed.

But her life began in the middle 1920s, and at the age of 89 she found adapting to the modern world not only impossible but undesirable — she recoiled in horror from prepackaged dinners on sale at the grocery store, from fast food, from declining manners, from a culture dominated by television and the Internet, from vulgar consumerism,

The reverend denies to The Daily Beast that he ever knowingly snitched on the Mafia to the FBI, but The Smoking Gun website, which made the charges, is sticking to its story. “If I brought down the Mob,” the Rev. Richard Griffin, the new general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, wants to give unions a veto over a unionized employer´s decision to relocate. If Griffin has his way, and he most assuredly will, some unionized businesses will be pinned in place at the discretion of their unions. The change Griffin is contemplating is unnecessary and inconsistent with both the law and the dynamics of our free-enterprise system. It will upset the balance mandated by the Supreme Court and should send a chill up the spine of unionized companies contemplating relocating an operation. It´s a question that has been at the heart of the health care debate for the past five years, and one that has been the source of plenty of confusion and misinformation: How much does Obamacare actually cost? Over at the newly launched vox.com, Sarah Kliff has a piece attempting to offer an easy explanation of President Obama´s health care law. Kliff is always worth reading on health care policy, but when describing the cost of Obamacare, she writes, “Expanding health coverage to millions of Americans is expensive; it will cost more than $1 trillion over the next decade.” In reality,

“In the end, history is not kind to those who would deny Americans their basic economic security. Nobody remembers well those who stand in the way of America’s progress or our people. And that’s what the Affordable Care Act represents.” President Obama, who made that statement last week, has never uttered truer words. Obama’s signature legislation is plainly standing in the way of Americans’ economic security and progress, a fact for which he and his congressional allies won’t be remembered kindly. The federal government’s own Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), housed in the executive branch, tells the tale. In June 2009,

While doing a review of Rupert Darwall’s book “The Age of Global Warming”, Charles Moore does an excellent job of succinctly identifying the alarmist movement’s core origins and core identity: The origins of warmism lie in a cocktail of ideas which includes anti-industrial nature worship, post-colonial guilt, a post-Enlightenment belief in scientists as a new priesthood of the truth, a hatred of population growth, a revulsion against the widespread increase in wealth and a belief in world government. It involves a fondness for predicting that energy supplies won’t last much longer (as early as 1909, the US National Conservation Commission

Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing
