On Eve Of MLK Day, Will Adultery
Keep Epic Dr. King Movie Off

Oliver Stone has run smack into the same wall on a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr biopic that director Paul Greengrass hit when Universal kicked his MLK project Memphis to the curb two years back. Stone took to his Twitter account today to say that DreamWorks and Warner Bros rejected his script rewrite and that he was done with the movie that also had Jamie Foxx attached. It came down to the studios — which are in lockstep with the MLK estate that brought them the right to use his famous copyrighted speeches — rejecting Stone’s characterization of long-running rumors

King´s legacy protectors claim that adultery stories are fabricated - but even his former associates admit that they are very true - King´s FBI files had to be sealed up in order to get the King holiday approved - their contents were so bad that they would have prevented Congressional approval of the holiday.

What about plagiarism? King´s doctoral thesis was largely a verbatim theft of another man´s work.

Why do we have a National Holiday for a guy who supposedly fixed race relations 50 years ago, when race relations have been crumbling since the day the guy died?

Considering the state of race relations, King didn´t get anything done. Actually just made it worse.

Just ´cause Reagan signed into law a National Holiday for someguy who was multiple tiers (many) than George Washington doesn´t change the fact. The guy was just a speech-ifier, just like obama, african decent. We are supposed to genuflect? Says who?

Rumors of adultery -- How does a fact become a rumor when the man was shot leaving the apartment of one partner?
Probably when the man´s wife hurt and angry
transferred all her father´s efforts to her husband to create the MLK myth and save the civil rights movement.
The deceased Rev. Abernathy was the real leader shoved under the bus to enhance a fraud.

Dear #8, you are so correct. His plagiarism is very indicative of his personality. A plagiarist is a thief and a liar. He steals another man´s thoughts, words, and work and claims them as his own. Perhaps the most brazen thing about King´s plagiarism is that it was verbatim. He didn´t even bother to rework another man´s words; he copied them word-for-word. This shows King´s personality.

No, I will not honor or revere him tomorrow. I will weep for my once-great country who honors such a man.

Not only was MLK an adulterous lech, but he was a known affiliate of Red Communists who advised him, and gave him money. Release his "raw" FBI file and lets us see for ourselves.

He would call a protest march, refuse to obtain a legal Permit for Assemblty, which then required local cops and even State Police to mobilize because of the violence associated with his "marches." Before the march began, the "good" Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Junior would order young children and women to the front of the crowd, while his punk teenage mob, remained in the back to hurl bottles and stones, tire irons, etc. at the police line to incite them. The Police would spray mace, baton the coconuts, and do whatever they needed with an illegal, unruly mob attacking them. Meanwhile, the "good" Doctor had previously asked TV cameras to record everything on the front line, while his teen boy-mobs were busting windows, stealing TVs, stting fires, etc. Yep, MLK was one heck of a peaceful guy. s/o

MLK also infamously plagerized his ThD disertation. Liberal apologists are all over this one.

For years in the South have been stories that his birth name was Marvin L. King, Jr., but when he went to Seminary, reading up on Martin Luther, "the great reformer", he was so moved that he changed his name to Martin Luther King, thereby adopting "the great reformer moniker" and dumping the "Junior," which he despised because of the strained relationship with his father. His Dad, a minister himself, thought it such a good idea that he also changed his name to Martin Luther King, Senior, thereby forcing the "Junior" back upon him. I have a copy of the U.S. Census Report from the 1940s which shows his name as Marvin L. King.

I saw his Dad in the Will Rogers Airport in OKC in the late 70´s with full police protection. There were several children in the terminal that evening and he was interested in meeting them, but interestingly, he only reached out to the black ones and completely ignored the white ones. That told me all I needed to know about the man.

Liberal black Democrats so many times resort to outright fraud that it´s amazing. Look at the fraud in the WH today. We don´t know who he really is, or where he´s really from, or what he really has done in his past.

For those old enough to remember Mr. I Have A Speech, it was all over the news not long before he died that he was caught in a motel with a woman other than his wife. His wife must have laughed all the way to the bank.

Strange how after his death, no black person has been hired based upon their character, but for the color of their skin, including Zippy.

Madden died at a hospice center near his home in the Jacksonville area, his niece Mary Frances Miller said. Towering and rumpled, Madden was best known for his role as Reuben Kinkaid, who managed the Partridge family band and regularly clashed with its impish pre-teen bassist, played by Danny Bonaduce. While the series starred Shirley Jones, with her real-life stepson David Cassidy as the resident heart-throb, it was Madden and the freckle-faced Bonaduce who

A series of newly obtained emails shows that Gov. Chris Christie’s office was closely involved with the lane closings at the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey in September, and that officials closed the lanes in what appeared to be retribution against the mayor whose town was gridlocked as a result. Mr. Christie, a Republican, has insisted that his staff and his campaign had nothing to do with the lane closings, and said that they were done as part of a traffic study. But the emails, obtained by The New York Times, show that Bridget Anne Kelly, a deputy chief of staff

The decision in 1967 to feature a harpsichord behind Linda Ronstadt on "Different Drum" wasn´t a stretch. Throughout the decade, the high-strung keyboard was enjoying a renaissance, appearing on dozens of pop hits and soundtracks—including the Beatles´ "Fixing a Hole," the Beach Boys´ "God Only Knows," "The Addams Family" TV theme and "The Odd Couple" film score. Reasons for using the fussy instrument by rock, pop and R&B producers varied. Some sought a novelty touch while others wanted to be in step with London´s colorful Edwardian fashion trend and the psychedelic scene that came with it. But the harpsichord´s ´60s

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how the sweeping acceptance of gay marriage in recent years is owed in large part to Christianity. Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,
