The Anti-War Left Hates "Lone Survivor."
Here´s Why They´re Wrong.

Heritage, by James Carafano

Original Article

Operation Redwings, a special operations mission in the highlands of Afghanistan, went tragically wrong. The new movie “Lone Survivor” tells the story in riveting fashion and, as a result, now perches atop the nation’s box office. That offends a lot of angry birds on the left. LA Weekly, for example, sneers that the film is all “muscles and machismo,” charging it is a senseless glorification of war. Such catcalls reveal more about the reviewer than the movie. They betray unbridled political correctness and an unshakable belief that war is an unspeakable act of evil invented by neocons. Such a world view inevitably

Who do they think fights wars? Perhaps it should be cross dressers running the hill swinging large handbags. Or chanting one of those hey hey ho ho all the enemy have to go! Make love not war! or some other light in the loafers catchy slogan, perhaps choreographed by the code pink gang. Oh those savages!

Saw it yesterday. Really a brilliant portrayal of how our Special Operators are able to stay in the battle long after their bodies say they should give it up. Muscles and machismo are what SEALS excel at. Get over it doofus! That´s why SEALS are the most effective of all the Special Operations warriors - who are ALL incredible warriors. I learned a long time ago that when shooting breaks out around me, I want U.S. Special Operators (preferably SEALS) on my side. Oohrah!

These are the same people that couldn´t walk two steps in those men´s combat boots. They worry too much about the gel in the hair, if they need to wax and do they wear silk underwear or eqyptian cotton. There is a reason they write for a living...and men like Marcus fight for their country. One would pass out at the sight of blood and the other, when their blood is spilled it makes them fight harder for a country they love.

Every once in a blue moon,Hollywood makes a movie for conservatives and the liberal elite reviewers tear it to shreds.Awards are always now being handed out to which actress or actor does the best job of promoting a liberal agenda em.

The guy who died from an overdose leaving a kid without a father was highly glorified because he played a gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain. For all we know he couldn´t live that down and eventually killed himself because of it.Considering the overall culture of Hollywood, you don´t see that may admitting they´re gay.

Washington D.C. is working on transforming our necessarily machismo and heroic military into a feelgood place for mommies in battle and feminized men. I say Washington not just Democrats because the PC social engineering tearing at the foundations of a proud American military was going on under Bush too, only in a more subtle way. Since the 60´s, the left has done all they can to denigrate and diminish the real sacrifices and achievements of our military. Fortunately, a megawatt star who wasn´t a bit scared of the MSM boldly made a movie showcasing brave Green Berets. Ha-ha. Now, "Lone Survivor" comes along 40 years later to once again poke holes in the anti-military propaganda. The movie is also a big hit which REALLY has the code pinkos up in arms.

We saw it last week and I would encourage all Ldotters to go see it for three reasons.

First and foremost, it is a wonderful yet tragic depiction of brothers in battle willing to sacrifice everything for their country and each other.

Second, it will show Hollywood just how many of us there are out here in America who love and honor our military.

Third, it really aggravates the libs and progressives that this movie is doing so well!

The first two thirds are well done. Almost everything after Marcus survives is Hollywood fantasy and must have made Luttrell sick to his stomach. Most combat veterans hate false heroics and the Director and screenwriter make Mark Wahlberg a superhero at the end. Total fiction and unnecessary. That said, the homage to the dead after the movie is over is something all Americans should see. Most people in my theater were unashamedly crying.

Hubby & I saw this film this afternoon and it is a MUST SEE which we recommend viewing in a theater. The entire audience of all ages was totally focused on the screen throughout and remained seated & silent for a moment after it was over. It was that stunning. It is about the most intense & graphic insight into the battle against the Taliban barbarisms in Afghanistan. The Navy Seals depicted are authentic American Treasures and our true Heroes. God bless them and the Liberty they serve through their sacrifices. Freedom isn´t free.

Saw it this week and was happy that a movie came out of Hollywood where men were shown to be real men and not pretty boys, and also showed us their love of family and country and their brother Seals. Was happy to see they showed at the beginning of the movie how difficult it is to become a Seal and how proud they are that they are part of such an elite group. Not your typical Hollywood product. Hopefully, some young men in the audience could see the men as role models.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee announced yesterday that it will hold a vote to decide whether former I.R.S. employee Lois Lerner is in contempt of Congress on Thursday, April 10th. Lerner has twice been called before Congress to testify about her involvement in the inappropriate targeting of conservative 501(c)(4) groups for extra scrutiny. On both occasions Lerner asserted her 5th amendment right not to testify. Rep. Issa and other Republicans on the Committee have maintained that Lerner waived her right not to testify when, during her first appearance before the Committee back in 2013, she made a speech proclaiming her

The Obama administration has made it increasingly difficult for Congress and inspectors general to uncover government misdeeds and access information in various agencies, according to recent congressional testimony and reports. On Thursday, Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz testified before a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing that Attorney General Eric Holder stonewalled his investigation of the “Operation Fast and Furious” gunwalking scandal. Mr. Horowitz also said his office has been stymied in other investigations of the Justice Department because of the Obama administration’s interpretation of access laws, which essentially requires investigators to ask department heads for permission to investigate them. “For a review

Hypersensitive students and professors all over the country are about to score another victory for political correctness if they succeed in their mission to normalize the use of “trigger warnings,” which are intended to protect people from taking part in class discussions and media that might offend them. Trigger warnings are most commonly attached to online news articles and blog posts. They warn readers that the post contains specific, offensive content. An article about sexual violence, for instance, might come with a trigger warning for rape victims. The idea is to prevent post traumatic stress. But censorship-inclined activists are now eager to

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Wednesday continued its abolition of limits on election spending, striking down a decades-old cap on the total amount any individual can contribute to federal candidates in a two-year election cycle. The ruling, issued near the start of a campaign season, will very likely increase the role money plays in American politics. The 5-to-4 decision, with the court’s more conservative members in the majority, echoed Citizens United, the 2010 decision that struck down limits on independent campaign spending by corporations and unions. It pegs President Obama´s approval rating underwater at 42/50, with Obamacare clocking in at 41/55.
