Hilarity Ensues When Americans

Recently, former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates wrote in his memoir that Vice President Joe Biden isn´t really an expert on anything, especially on foreign policy. Gates noted that Biden has been wrong on every foreign policy decision for the past four decades. So, what do Americans really think about Joe Biden? MRCTV´s Dan Joseph decided to investigate and let´s just say that the Vice President shouldn´t expect any positive comments about his political acumen anytime soon.

Joe "Neil Kinnock" Biden isn´t an expert on domestic policy, either, to say the least. Wearing his ever present coprophagous grin and his big floppy clown shoes, he stomps through the minefield of political idiocies, setting off every one. An utter buffoon, Biden can turn any solemn occasion into a hootenanny.

If I were ever to be elected President of the United States, I would choose someone more like Bob Denver´s character of Gilligan to be my vice. Like the choice of idiot/court jester Biden, it´s a perfect shield against impeachment.

The only reason Joe Biden is vice president is because the first 600 people Obama asked said no.

Last weekend mysterious posters of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared in various locations around Beverly Hills. The posters featured an image of Cruz’s head — complete with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth — photoshopped onto a heavily inked torso. The headline on the posters read, “Beverly Hilton: Ted Cruz’s So-Cal ‘Blacklisted and Loving It’ Tour.” Cruz was in California last weekend to speak at the Claremont Institute’s Churchill dinner. The story went viral, appearing in media outlets as diverse as Drudge, Breitbart, Time, and Huffington Post. Most of them applauded Cruz’s sense of humor when he tweeted: “Saw

Oliver Stone has run smack into the same wall on a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr biopic that director Paul Greengrass hit when Universal kicked his MLK project Memphis to the curb two years back. Stone took to his Twitter account today to say that DreamWorks and Warner Bros rejected his script rewrite and that he was done with the movie that also had Jamie Foxx attached. It came down to the studios — which are in lockstep with the MLK estate that brought them the right to use his famous copyrighted speeches — rejecting Stone’s characterization of long-running rumors

Onoda died Thursday at a Tokyo hospital after a brief stay there. Chief government spokesman Yoshihide Suga on Friday expressed his condolences, praising Onoda for his strong will to live and indomitable spirit. NEW YORK (AP) — Comic actor Dave Madden, who played the child-hating agent on the hit 1970s sitcom "The Partridge Family," died in Florida on Thursday at age 82. Madden died at a hospice center near his home in the Jacksonville area, his niece Mary Frances Miller said. Towering and rumpled, Madden was best known for his role as Reuben Kinkaid, who managed the Partridge family band and regularly clashed with its impish pre-teen bassist, played by Danny Bonaduce. While the series starred Shirley Jones, with her real-life stepson David Cassidy as the resident heart-throb, it was Madden and the freckle-faced Bonaduce who

A series of newly obtained emails shows that Gov. Chris Christie’s office was closely involved with the lane closings at the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey in September, and that officials closed the lanes in what appeared to be retribution against the mayor whose town was gridlocked as a result. Mr. Christie, a Republican, has insisted that his staff and his campaign had nothing to do with the lane closings, and said that they were done as part of a traffic study. But the emails, obtained by The New York Times, show that Bridget Anne Kelly, a deputy chief of staff

The decision in 1967 to feature a harpsichord behind Linda Ronstadt on "Different Drum" wasn´t a stretch. Throughout the decade, the high-strung keyboard was enjoying a renaissance, appearing on dozens of pop hits and soundtracks—including the Beatles´ "Fixing a Hole," the Beach Boys´ "God Only Knows," "The Addams Family" TV theme and "The Odd Couple" film score. Reasons for using the fussy instrument by rock, pop and R&B producers varied. Some sought a novelty touch while others wanted to be in step with London´s colorful Edwardian fashion trend and the psychedelic scene that came with it. But the harpsichord´s ´60s

The show is part of a phenomenon known as Slow TV which has increasingly captivated Norway. The overall gist of the concept, to which LMNO Productions recently acquired U.S. rights, is a hybrid of unhurried documentary coupled with hours and hours of continuous coverage provided by fixed cameras trained on a subject or an event. Prior to tonight, those have included a 7.5-hour train journey, a 134-hour coastal cruise, a stack of firewood

Many Americans have been watching with great consternation the ongoing struggle between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Marshals against Cliven Bundy and his family. There are no signs of either side relinquishing their position. Many onlookers have been informed that this dispute is over protecting the desert tortoise. But it is nothing of the sort. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. Who throws a shoe? Honestly! That would be 36-year-old Alison Ernst of Phoenix, Arizona, who was charged Thursday night with disorderly conduct by the Las Vegas Police Department after allegedly throwing a shoe at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to NBC News, who spoke with a Secret Service official, the U.S. Attorney’s office has declined federal prosecution. Ernst was wearing shoes on Thursday night when she attended a speech Clinton was giving in Las Vegas, but apparently brought an extra one specifically to throw at the former secretary of state. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

President Obama labeled complaints about voter fraud “bogus” and accused Republicans of cynically trying to prevent Americans from accessing the polls in a fiery speech Friday at a civil rights forum hosted by Al Sharpton. Obama argued that attempts in some states to impose new voter identification restrictions were actually efforts by Republicans to make “it harder, not easier to vote.” And the president said that while voter fraud should be prevented, it rarely occurred. “So let´s be clear, the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud,” Obama said.
