HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Mayor Annise Parker married her long-time partner, Kathy Hubbard, in a California wedding Thursday. Eyewitness News was the only Houston television station in Palm Springs for the wedding, and Mayor Parker told us shortly after she tied the knot that her wedding was "lovely." "We had a beautiful day," Parker told us. The city of Houston says Parker and Hubbard were married before a small group of people Thursday on the 23rd anniversary of their relationship. Parker´s mother and Hubbard´s sister were on hand for the exchange of vows, which were presided over by the Reverend

Comments:
As I heard someone else comment, how can she be mayor if she has no regard for the laws of her own state?

The "reverend" in the photo is wearing a clerical collar which means he´s probably Episcopalian, though the article doesn´t say. I seriously doubt that he´s Catholic. But whatever he is, he´s NOT a Christian.

Her resemblance to our former SoS is AMAZING. Her appearance, her hair, and most of all, her figure (or lack thereof) Seeing her in a pants suit is similar to ´Sister/Sister´ Does she ride? Just asking... ´Lovely´ doesn´t do it...which is the rider?; the horse? Just another pervert...but in Texas, Holy Cow! Happy Houston is a long way from home. Thank God

These three have performed a religious marriage ceremony in the face of God whose wrath not blessing is reserved for those He has given up ´to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves´. What they call lovely - God calls it vile. (Romans Chapter 1)

They have gone out of their way to publicly draw God into it. Whether or not it is done through willful ignorance or by design for an agenda, the ultimate end result is one that no Christian would wish on anyone. Very sad - not happy.

Houston is another "Rainbow City," like SanFran. Not far from downtown is the heart of Rainbow-ville. I find it ironic that the Gender Confused Community choose, as their "symbol of choice," the sign God gave mankind following His Flood Judgement on earth for illicit sexual activities with fallen Angels. Those "hybrid" offspring had to be destroyed, along with the humans who participated in the crime against humanity. and God´s rules. Not "gay" and not "marriage". Perversion of the soul using perversion of the language. No I won´t offer "congatulations".

Co-habiting for 23 years? Does that make it a common law "marriage?" Does that mean I was married to my father because I "co- habited" with him for the first 17 years of my life?

Well, obviously this is a pile of nonsense cobbled together with a tissue of lies.

Remember, surrender the language, surrender the argument.

If you insist on labeling homosexuals as "gay" then I insist on labeling heterosexuals as "normal."

It is not just Markos of Daily Kos infamy claiming the Left has won the culture war. The Week´s Matt Lewis is saying the same. Yeah, they are both kinda trolling. So ´scuse me while I take the bait. Let´s start with the biggie: same-sex marriage. Yes, polls show gay marriage is breaking out all over, but when put to a vote same-sex marriage has lost (even in California) much more often than not. Furthermore, gay marriage is not being legalized through popular opinion or demand, it is being legalized through activist judges. There is no question that attitudes have

At the Conservative Political Action Conference gathering last month, Perry showed that he can still deliver a stem-winder. And at a Fort Hood news conference after the shooting, he showed the maturity and calm that voters will look for in a presidential contender: “There aren’t any easy answers to what occurred here, and there’s no way to wish away the suffering that’s occurring. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.
