Mrs. Clinton, the truth about
Benghazi does make a difference

Fox News, by Michael Ingmire

President Obama nominated Hillary Clinton to be Secretary of State and she was confirmed by the Senate in January 2009. A tenure lasting less than five years would affect the lives of four American families forever. While traveling the globe during her time in office as Secretary of State, Clinton was vocal in her support for the empowerment of women in countries throughout the world. But were there any major foreign policy initiatives led by Secretary Clinton during her time in office? Unfortunately, no. Was Secretary Clinton hoping to create a substantial legacy with the establishment of a diplomatic outpost

Assemblyman Tim Donnelly has many things he’d like the state of California to know about him as they consider making him governor: He has big balls, for one. But also that he wants to make the Golden State sexy again so Hollywood comes back, and—AND!—there should be a gun in every Californian’s safe, then something about McDonalds in North Dakota having a signing bonus, plus he has big balls, which is why he’s married to the “sexiest woman in California,” who is not María Conchita, a Cuban-born actress who provides commentary in Spanish while holding her dog Tequila, and is actually

Texans for Cornyn has a new ad out this week that just brutalizes the Obama administration’s dishonest mouthpieces. Senator Cornyn has one of the most conservative ratings in congress, and he is taking these Democratic charlatans apart in the public square. We have to hold Washington accountable, and we must never stop demanding the truth from this “most transparent” administration. This is how it’s done. Great ad.

Let’s put it this way: It’s not the kind of rhetoric you’d expect to hear from an insurgent primary candidate running to Mitch McConnell’s right. “We have way too much partisanship in Washington,” Matt Bevin told a Republican audience in Hardin County, Ky., on Monday. (Snip)He went on: “This idea of us being bomb throwers, being zealots who, ‘It’s my way or the highway’ — that’s craziness. Government is about negotiation, government is about compromise.”

The case of Jahi McMath, the 13-year-old Oakland girl who was declared brain dead Dec. 12 following complications from tonsil and sinus surgery, hasn´t ended yet. Insisting Jahi was still alive and should remain on the ventilator that was keeping her heart beating, the girl´s family fought Children´s Hospital Oakland and was finally allowed by a judge to take her body into their custody. On Jan. 5, the body was moved to an undisclosed facility where, according to the family´s attorney, Christopher Dolan, "her health is improving." Jahi´s saga gives rise to several conflicting strains of accusation. The family and

After taking a drubbing in last year´s state elections, Virginia Republicans are debating whether their party has come to be defined by its extremists. But in a congressional district in Northern Virginia, one of the state´s main instigators of culture warfare, state Sen. Richard H. "Dick" Black, is running in the Republican primary to replace longtime GOP moderate Rep. Frank Wolf, who is retiring. And he´s guaranteed to ignite wedge-issue passion. Exhibit A: As a state legislator, Black opposed making spousal rape a crime, citing the impossibility of convicting a husband accused of raping his wife "when they´re living together,

This is the 50th year of the establishment of the War on Poverty. I was there at its birth and throughout its fateful history. But you would never know from the liberal press that it failed. Recently, the New York Times gave a mixed review to our progress in eliminating poverty. Their analysis: It has been kept in check through transfer payments and in-kind government supports. Let’s be clear from the outset -- the War on Poverty never envisioned lifting people out of poverty by giving them the income and supports to survive. It was based on giving them the

On one side are Robertson´s predictable supporters, who include white evangelicals, southern Republican politicians and Fox News.(Snip)But while Robertson´s comments have roiled members of MSNBC´s black media elite such as Al

New Jersey voters are giving Gov. Chris Christie the benefit of the doubt as he fights for his political life over a traffic-jam scandal, according to new polling that says more residents see him as a leader than as a bully who takes swipes at political foes. Mr. Christie’s favorability rating still tops 50 percent, and even Democratic voters don’t think the Republican governor was involved in closing off toll lanes to the George Washington Bridge last September, according to a new survey released Wednesday by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. Nine out of 10 New Jersey voters say they’ve

NEW YORK -- Middle-aged men risk a faster mental decline as they age if they´ve been drinking heavily for years, new research suggests. The study of about 5,000 British civil servants found that over a decade, the added decline was the equivalent of about two extra years of aging for a combined measure of mental abilities like reasoning, and about six years for memory. The heavy drinkers´ abilities were compared to those of men who drank moderately or abstained. It´s no surprise that heavy alcohol consumption can affect the brain, but the study focuses on an age range that has received much

What a bizarre spectacle. Assuming he did not lie during his marathon news conference last week, the feeding frenzy surrounding New Jersey governor Chris Christie will be remembered as one of those incredibly odd moments of elite journalistic hysteria that are difficult to explain to people who weren’t there or didn’t get it. I’m not referring to the scandal itself; that’s easy enough to understand. What Christie’s team did was outrageous and deserves as much foofaraw and brouhaha as the New Jersey media can muster. What’s harder to grok is the hysteria at the national level. For starters, there have been countless greater

Movie producer Harvey Weinstein announced for the first time on Howard Stern’s radio show that he is making a full feature drama to try to destroy the National Rifle Association. Mr. Stern asked Mr. Weinstein on Wednesday whether he owned a gun. The Hollywood heavyweight replied that he did not and never would. “I don’t think we need guns in this country. And I hate it,” the producer said. “I think the NRA is a disaster area.” Mr. Weinstein then revealed his secret project about the gun rights group. “I shouldn’t say this, but I’ll tell it to you, Howard,”

Shocking images depicting U.S. soldiers burning the bodies of what appear to be Iraqi insurgents, have emerged today. The explosive photographs, reportedly taken in Fallujah in 2004, have already sparked a Marine Corps investigation, but many of the 41 gag-inducing shots are just too grisly to publish. Two pictures show a Marine pouring what looks like gasoline on the remains of enemy soldiers and another two images appear to show the remains go up in flames. Two more capture the horrifically charred bodies. The sick snaps were exclusively obtained by TMZ, who turned them over to the Pentagon last week, triggering the

Washington´s political reporters, in lightning knee-jerk speed, have embraced President Obama´s Robin Hood war on “income inequality,” the latest example of the president´s success in using the bully pulpit to steer attention to his new populist campaign.
