Texas Justice: Conservative Fighter Demolishes
Democrats´ Lies, Scandals, and Cover-ups

Independent Journal Review, by Caleb Howe

Original Article

Texans for Cornyn has a new ad out this week that just brutalizes the Obama administration’s dishonest mouthpieces. Senator Cornyn has one of the most conservative ratings in congress, and he is taking these Democratic charlatans apart in the public square. We have to hold Washington accountable, and we must never stop demanding the truth from this “most transparent” administration. This is how it’s done. Great ad.

Comments:
The ad is playing all over Texas. It´s a good one, much better than Cornyn´s previous ads.

This type of ad should be aired by all of the Republicans and Conservatives. Hit them with the facts. I think there are a lot more people paying attention now, than there have been in the past. Many don´t even know what "Fast and Furious" is about.

The comments from people after the article stating they´re from Texas don´t seem too happy with Cornyn. Says he campaigns to the right and votes to the left and is now in fear of losing his Royal job. They mention a candidate named Dwayne Stovall.

I have a question for the good Senator Cornyn and other like-minded Establishment Republicans: Will you work to repeal and replace Obamacare OR do you prefer to just tweak and change it a little?

Anyone else wish to anwer?

#3, Dwayne Stovall is a good candidate. He´s way short of funding, though, and the primary is in six weeks.

#4 I talked to his staff when he and McConnell were stabbing Cruz in the back. Staffers said ´he´s got a plan´. Just couldn´t tell me what is was, but Cruz´ approach was not the right one.

Still waiting on ´the plan´.
I am not going to vote for him - when it comes down to it he likes the status quo.

In my area of Texas, I haven´t spoken with anyone who is angry with Cornyn and few even realize he has primary challengers. John Cornyn was a good Texas Supreme Court justice and he´s been a good senator. But good people can and do disagree. That´s what makes things interesting.

I saw this ad posted on another site. My response to Cornyn was, where have you been the past six years, what have you done since these are such big problems? Nothing. It´s what all the establishment candidates do, they state the problem then do nothing about it. Continue to elect him and see if he does anything to solve the complaints in the ad.

The awesome Texas group responsible for Cruz´s election, did vet a Cornyn challenger who had enough depth, network, & war chest. I am not sure but believe it was Louis Gohmert but in the end , he declined the run. Contrary to Karl Rives opinion, this tea party group spends their funds & energy wisely. They will be active elsewhere this election year.

Cornyn voted for cloture on Obamacare. When I called office, the staff explained he had to vote for cloture so he would get a chance to vote against bill. I explained that a whole bunch of us aren´t idiots and he´s certainly not getting my vote in the primaries.

Worse that not standing with Cruz, he actively promoted Lt Gov Dewhurst from the good ol´ boy network of politicians in the Texas Senate race.

Now, as always at election time, Cornyn will have a photo op wearing boots and mouthing conservative lines. His conservative front is false and I´m willing to be his boots are more likely to be Acme than Lucchese.

John Cornyn is a RINO through and through. He TALKS tough, but look at his voting record and how he threw fellow Senator Ted Cruz under the bus..

He inherited Kay Bailey Hutchison´s high heels and prances around with the other ´old bulls´... he is a Texan, but he is a smooth politician more aligned with the big spenders who feel that big government works as long as the ´repubicans´ control the spending of the money.

Big government is NOT the answer, giving citizenship to illegal aliens without going through the process of legally becoming citizens and unchecks spending out the wazzoo are issues Cornyn has refused to deal with.

He is another big-money patrician Dewhurst.

Cornyn started off his senate career as a dedicated conservative, and walked the walk. He´s been around Washington too long, and is too concerned about keeping his creds with the Washington party scene. I wish Gohmert would have agreed to run against Cornyn, but he´s doing a fine job in the House. I can´t get past Cornyn not standing with Cruz, but with McCain.

I DROPPED in on my sister last week. As usual, I was amazed. I work a single job; she works three or four. There’s her paid one at an executive search firm, finding and screening candidates for corner offices in the retail industry. Then there are the others. With the start of a new baseball season comes a disheartening stat that makes you worry not just for the national pastime, but for the nation itself: In less than a year, four little league presidents have been charged with looting their organization´s treasury. The thefts left three of the leagues in such sorry financial shape that it seemed the kids might not be able to play this spring. But nobler

From 1964 to 1968, close to 34,000 Americans died in South Vietnam. We will never know how many Vietnamese women, men, and children perished during those years, but the total, according to most estimates, was at least one million. Among the dead were tens of thousands of civilians—blown apart by explosives dropped from planes, burned to death by napalm, or gunned down by U.S. troops whose commanders told them that, in a village considered loyal to the Vietcong, they should “kill anything that we see and anything that moved.” Their commander-in-chief was Lyndon Baines Johnson.
