Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., blasted Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., on the Senate floor for restricting amendments to the omnibus spending bill and bitterly denounced the legislative process. "So we have one person out of 100 [who] decides what amendments will be acceptable and what aren´t," Coburn said, referring to Reid. "Jefferson has got to be spinning in his grave, because he wrote the original rules of the Senate." Coburn reminded his Senate colleagues that the amendment process was an essential part of the bill process as it encouraged negotiation to generate consensus. "When we have a czar running the Senate

That´s one of the nicer things he could call him. You have to laugh at Lisa Murkowski complaining when she is always so anxious to work with the evil Democrats.

Reid could care less how Republicans rant and rave. Fix their wagon. Refuse to go along with a thing ! Stand with the American people against lawlessness. No excuses - do it. Get behind Senators Cruz and Lee as they know how to lead. Don´t depend on the worm Mitch McConnell!

People are wanting someone to do something - we are led to believe there is a small well armed army of Oath Keepers, former militiamen out there who will go out to bat at a moment´s notice - I hope that is true. We also threaten not to pay our taxes - so how many are prepared not to and stand up for what they believe is right and needed? So many of our public officials should rightly be in jail or indicted for treasonous crimes and yet nothing continues to happen. Why are we afraid to right these wrongs by sitting down in glum acceptance?

He is keeping true to his promise that he would not become a career politician, but I wish he would stay. He walks the walk & talks the talk.

A contestant named Julian from Indiana University must be feeling pretty stupid right about now. Was Cher turning back time this week, or was the veteran singer trying to emulate a certain shock performer? The 67 year-old Oscar winner took the stage in Boston Thursday and proceeded to tear through a number of colorful costume changes. One ensemble found the star sporting the kind of outfit Miley Cyrus has been (barely) wearing for the past few months on her Bangerz tour. The ever-youthful singer endured six costume changes during the aptly-named Dressed To Kill tour, including a diamond-encrusted fringed dress with nipple pasties. The Washington Post has an outrageous story about how the Treasury Department is going after thousands of Americans to collect on debts — which may not have ever been real debts — it says deceased family members owed the government. A few weeks ago, with no notice, the U.S. government intercepted Mary Grice’s tax refunds from both the IRS and the state of Maryland. Grice had no idea that Uncle Sam had seized her money until some days later, when she got a letter saying that her refund had gone to satisfy an old debt to the government — a very old debt. When Grice was 4, back in 1960, her father died,

Beckel accused CAIR of lacking “guts” in not standing up for Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s rights after Brandeis University shamefully rescinded an honorary degree that it had planned to give her. Brandeis made that decision under pressure from Muslim students, and ultimately CAIR itself, after those groups accused Ali of being anti-Muslim. Ali is anti-Muslim, but with good reason. President Obama labeled complaints about voter fraud “bogus” and accused Republicans of cynically trying to prevent Americans from accessing the polls in a fiery speech Friday at a civil rights forum hosted by Al Sharpton. Obama argued that attempts in some states to impose new voter identification restrictions were actually efforts by Republicans to make “it harder, not easier to vote.” And the president said that while voter fraud should be prevented, it rarely occurred. “So let´s be clear, the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud,” Obama said.
