Sarah Palin´s father harassed by
IRS six times since 2008

The problems with a politicized IRS may be far more serious than we have yet suspected. Sarah Palin´s brother Chuck Heath, Jr. posted the following on his Facebook account January 11th: My father, who worked multiple jobs and faithfully and honestly paid his taxes for fifty years, had never heard a word from the IRS. In 2008, his daughter was tapped to run for vice president of the United States. Since that time, he has been, in his words "horribly harassed" six times by the agency. They´ve tried to dig up something on him but he´s always operated above board. Government and

And where is the Republican Establishment on the entire IRS issue? They let Obama hand pick a supporter to "investigate". Anyone else getting the feeling that at the very least they are condoning the IRS attacking Tea Party supports by doing nothing, or maybe, just maybe, they had a hand in it themselves?

Rather odd isn´t it?

Got Tea?
Then get ready for an audit!

Most of us are ready to believe the IRS is capable of anything these days and certainly it´s not irrational to attribute a political vendetta to Mr. Heath´s situation. But does anyone have any further information than Chuck Heath´s tweet? I´ve seen the story all over the place, but every mention is built on his tweeted accusation and nothing more. Is it an ongoing audit? Six inquiries? It would be easier to evaluate the seriousness if we had a few facts. I know I am not alone in getting occasional questions from IRS. They rarely are a serious problem. Is this more than questions?

I hope Mr. Heath has a good legal team protecting him.

I volunteer at a shooting complex. Several times a month, our training center is booked for the day - 3 classrooms and 4 ranges - by.... the IRS.

I´m told the IRS has always had enforcement agents (´revenooers´´). Of course.

But now they have 17,000 more agents to train.

For our health care program.

I am beginning to believe that Obama and his cabal want us to hate the government so badly that we will do something very stupid. Can´t help but think the community organizer is stirring the pot so it will overflow. What better way to prove a point to the mind numbed robots that inhabit this country that the TEA Party minded folks really are a physical threat to their safety. Of course, then he will "have" (wink, wink) to intervene and put down the extremist element among us for the good of the country. Give me another plausible explanation and I will put my tin foil hat away. Promise.

Way past time to build a citizen sourced platform of IRS crimes against the people. Class action time.
So many individuals have so much ruinous damage harassment, confiscation to show and document.
The IRS must have many carefully hidden Snowdens.
But they remain in hiding because they all fear for their lives, and the safety of their families lives.
Each and every member of Congress is directly responsible for this attack on Sarah Palin´s working dad.
Multimillionaire Issa is the lone figurehead out of over 500 elected people who have the power to question any and all patterns of destroying America´s working society.
Only Darrel Issa speaks for this massive government wrongdoing. Why?
Is it possible the evil of the IRS is so great that NOBODY DARES TO QUESTION THEIR RAMPANT POWER? Not even the privileged class of Congress??
Time to rally around the flag, time to reveal the complex, rigid, completely documented IRS rule book, and there is no greater pool of intelligence to draw from than all those business, political and professional millions who have witnessed endless government driven crimes against working people, small and big businesses.

We have Drudge, Breitbart, Snowden, Levin, Steyn, Bachman, Palin, tons of CPAs, Robert Gates, the few non Congressional cowards willing to break out, a virtual army of wronged individuals that need to be heard.
Now is the time to tell the truth, at the risk of violence from the IRS. we have a lying, weakened, law breaking
Imposter of a president, his desperate communist influenced cabal! a blind to justice Congress and press media. Now is the truth breakthrough time of all times!

Better yet, someone could create a reality show on the topic; though it´s most likely already been done.

It won´t do any good to investigate the IRS or any other dept. now. We have just seen how they will whitewash any wrongdoing. Until we control both houses of Congress and the executive branch, it is going to be government the Chicago way. After the 2016 election we will find out if the newly elected Republican president and Congress have the cojones to thoroughly investigate and prosecute ALL who were involved in illegal activities.
If not, then expect it to happen again under the next Democrat Parti president.

I´ve posted over and over and over that I happened to hear this in February 2009 when I got in my car and the radio was on this station:

We´ve seen every day since I heard that call that they are indeed setting up their "patronage" form of government (Banana Republic): Solyndra et al, car dealerships, IRS, FBI, Fast & Furious, selective law inforcement, etc., etc., etc.

It´s only going to get worse unless Americans stand up.

Where will this end for those of us who are nesr the end of our savings? Free assistance programs exist for minorities but whites are ineligible. This is an article in the American Thinker by Thomas Lifson. The words are by Chuck Heath, Jr., son of the harassed. Sounds legitimate to me.

The Palins have no political connections whatsoever, no power really beyond their family´s, especially Sarah´s, incredible integrity and courage to make our political system honest, efficient, accountable, and beneficial to all Americans.

Of course the establishment made up of both politcal parties wants the Palins, Cruzs, etc. completely destroyed. It has, and will continue to use, every mighty tool at their disposal.

That´s why we have never heard ONE peep out of our elected Republican leaders to defend Sarah Palin. They have nothing to gain personally (except doing the right thing), but everything to lose--at least we have gained an insight into the sorry character of the Republicans running our party.

#6 ~ I used to kinda carpool with a boss in one of the Enforcement Division branches.

Yeah, they have guns. Sometimes people get POd about seizures so they do it ~ I think it used to be done by the US Marshalls but it got too hot for generalists and they developed these special teams to do it.

Long story short, one of his guys lived in my neighborhood. They fired him.

He´d chained up a building and there was a woman inside with a baby. He wouldn´t let her out ~ typical problem BTW, many times employees of a seized company hang around to the last minute getting their on stuff ~ or something they like. IRS gets them out.

Well, this lady had a baby and my neighbor wouldn´t let her out.

IRS Collection folks have standards ~ they do not kidnap babies.

They do a lot of other stuff, but they don´t do that.

Gotta´ respect people who can stick to a single standard through thick and thin.

BTW, the 17,000 extras will not be seizing property.

FTA: “Instead, what emerged during the probe was evidence of a mismanaged bureaucracy enforcing rules about tax-exemption applications it didn´t understand…”

In order to cover up their criminal activities the Obama cabal is willing to publicly state that Giant Government is mismanaged and is enforcing rules they do not understand. If the bureaucracy doesn’t understand the “rules” how can citizens be expected to comply? Disband and eliminate the IRS.

Conservative candidates should memorize this quote and use it to highlight the common sense reasons for limited government. We know the GOP Old Guard will never engage in this battle.

The war on standards

Paul has been writing about the war on standards in various aspects of our society, generally as a means of advancing the interests of minorities (or purporting to advance them, anyway). Now it appears that the decline of standards–indeed, the abolition of any standards at all–has come to the world of college debate. The Atlantic reports: These days, an increasingly diverse group of participants has transformed debate competitions, mounting challenges to traditional form and content by incorporating personal experience, performance, and radical politics. (You always hear and read of a “fiasco,” a “defeat” a “disaster” at the Bay of Pigs, 53 years ago this week. But you rarely hear about the cause. Here it is.) "They fought like tigers," writes the CIA officer who helped train the Cubans who splashed ashore at the Bay of Pigs 53 years ago this week. "But their fight was doomed before the first man hit the beach." That CIA man, Grayston Lynch, knew something about fighting – and about long odds. The government has no business owning (or administering) all of this land. I am willing to concede federal courthouses and even the national parks to the feds, (even though some of the parks were created as a result of brutal land grabs. Shenandoah National Park which I look out at as I write this is an example.) but why is practically all of the far West run by the Federal Government? Here’s another thing I’ll concede. The feds get a few hundred God forsaken square miles in the northern Nevada desert to do nuclear testing and to dump nuclear fuel. Beyond that? People should own this land.

He said the country should reflect on what Christianity brings to Britain. “All over the UK, every day, there are countless acts of kindness carried out by those who believe in and follow Christ,” Cameron said. “The heart of Christianity is to ‘love thy neighbour’ and millions do really live that out.” He mentioned prison ministries, soup kitchens and homeless shelters run by churches.

As we head into a sacred weekend for many Americans, The Foundry would like to share these inspiring words with you. Have a wonderful celebration. Excerpts from President Ronald Reagan’s Radio Address to the Nation on the Observance of Easter and Passover, April 2, 1983 My fellow Americans: This week as American families draw together in worship, we join with millions upon millions of others around the world also celebrating the traditions of their faiths. During these days, at least, regardless of nationality, religion, or race, we are united by faith in God, and the barriers between us seem less

The debate over campaign contributions is never-ending for a simple reason: Both sides of the argument have merit. On the one hand, of course money is speech. For most citizens, contributing to politicians or causes is the most effective way to augment and amplify speech with which they agree. The most disdainful dismissers of this argument are editorialists and incumbent politicians who — surprise! — already enjoy access to vast audiences and don’t particularly like their monopoly being invaded by the unwashed masses or the self-made plutocrat. On the other hand, of course money is corrupting.

After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. She read the cruel posts and Internet snark about her appearance, and it was just too much. “It got to me like it gets kids and teenagers,” she told the Associated Press. The “Vertigo” actress, considered one of the great beauties in her day, posted a note on her Facebook wall Thursday, acknowledging that she’d gotten fat injections in her face and addressing her halted

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. And no, it’s not just the fact that having a grandchild could be personally fulfilling to Hillary and Bill (mazel tov, by the way), or that a cute baby would be a sweet cherry on top of Hillary’s already
