Hasn´t McCain Worn
Out His Welcome?

Power Line, by John Hinderaker

Original Article

Posted By:MissMolly, 1/14/2014 1:20:21 PM

There was a time when I liked and admired John McCain. True, I still had hair on my head, and the calendar year began with a “1” rather than a “2.”(Snip)Still, to borrow Dick Cheney’s phrase about the Clintonistas in 2000, it’s time for him to go. There’s a reason he’s the media’s favorite Republican to put on the Sunday talk shows: he can be relied upon to go rogue. Yesterday he criticized Robert Gates for the heavy blows Gates lands on Obama in his new book, saying that Gates “should have delayed the release of his memoir” rather than publishing

Comments:
McCain´s no different today than from the first time I saw him on television, still saying whatever pleased the media.

Amen! I cannot unnderstand why my fellow citizens keep re-electing him. He has been terriible in representing the interests of the state. True, he was a war hero, but he rode that horse to death long ago. He has insulted his fellow VN Veterns by constantly calling kerry my good friend.
Yes, time for him to go drive a beer truck for his wife.

No one want to speak ill of John McCain, but he destroyed 2 jets and got himself shot down in a third.

If his Naval Flight Fitness Reports are still available and not wiped clean, you will find he was a God awful pilot. His own worse enemy.

He was a burden to taxpayer then and continues to be a burden in the Senate today.

…and now he´s reached a new law as he reverts to childhood pairing with his awful and dumb as a stump daughter Meghan on her latest cable mess. By chane, I saw an interview the 30 year old boob-babe-daughter did with him in valley girl speak and the look on daddy´s face says he thinks she´s brilliant, beautiful, wonderful, witty, et al. Hard to believe and worse to watch a once admired man cutting his own throat in living color. It makes me sad. If any of his family, including his wife, cared at all, they´d get the "hook" and physically pull him off the national stage.

Washington -- Louisiana Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu is in the middle of a storm. She is beset by well-funded forces on the right who sense the Gulf Coast Democrat´s vulnerability in trying to defend a Senate seat in a red state. On the left, she is trying to avoid being pulled down by the undertow of a president whose decline in approval ratings and controversial health care reform law might not play well with her state´s conservative sensibilities. She´s been buffeted by rough re-election fights before, and in previous successful bids for the state legislature, state treasurer´s office and eventually

Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either.
