Exclusive: Mayor de Blasio donors
exploited loopholes allowing double-,
triple-giving

New York Daily News, by Greg B. Smith

Mayor de Blasio took political fundraising to new extremes during his come-from-behind campaign, a Daily News review has found. Deep-pocket donors showered him with checks far in excess of the usual campaign finance limitations, thanks to loopholes that allowed for double- and even triple-giving. De Blasio was able to raise money on three fronts in the same election cycle: first for his campaign, then for a $300,000 fine he still owed from a 2009 campaign, and finally for his inauguration and transition costs. That meant individual donors limited to giving no more than $4,950 per election cycle were able to give the maximum

I trust that their will be an immediate investigation by the U.S. Attorney´s office and the FEC. s/o I´m sick of Democrats doing whatever they want to do with no consequences whatsoever. Again I say, there is no longer any rule of law in this country.

Barry knows all about exploiting donor loopholes. He must have coached de Blasio, his buddy communist. Of course, the Hildebeast knows all the tricks too.

When de Blasio bankrupts NYC, the communist Cuomo better not look to the rest of the State to bail NYC out.

"The only reason we haven´t been able to get the truth from Lois Lerner is because of one person. And that is our chairman," Rep. Steve Horsford (D-Nev.) told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Thursday, as the panel considered a contempt of Congress resolution against the former IRS official. "So if my colleagues want to hold someone in contempt, maybe they should look to the person holding the gavel, since it´s his poor handling of this investigation that has resulted in why we can´t get the truth that the people deserve." Benjamin Jealous, the former president of the NAACP, appeared on MSNBC on Thursday and praised Attorney General Eric Holder‘s remarks before the National Action Network, in which he implied that both he and President Barack Obama suffer race-based indignities from conservatives. Jealous said the nation should count itself “blessed” to have such an honest attorney general and blamed the tea party for the racial antipathy directed at White House officials. “We should count ourselves blessed that we have an AG who will speak to us about the truth,” Jealous said of Holder’s remarks. “I know perhaps better than most just the

A lesson plan asking students to draw parallels between late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal is an “absolute disgrace,” the widow of the fallen officer told FoxNews.com. Maureen Faulkner, whose husband Daniel was gunned down in Philadelphia on Dec. 9, 1981, said the latest effort to glorify Abu-Jamal’s past using a lesson plan posted on the Oakland (Calif.) Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Thursday said there was “no issue of race” in the way House Republicans have treated President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. A day after Holder said the two leaders had faced “ugly and divisive adversity” from Congress, Boehner said, "There is no issue of race here" at a Capitol press conference. The attorney general had departed from his prepared remarks before the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network on Wednesday to accuse the House GOP of treating him and Obama differently during the last five years. John Kerry has been successful as secretary of State, Carter said, because President Obama has been deeply involved in the foreign policy issues of his second term. “In this occasion, when Secretary Clinton was Secretary of State, she took very little action to bring about peace. A House committee voted Thursday to hold Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress, as Republicans escalated their bid to "get to the bottom" of the former IRS official´s role in the political targeting scandal. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted 21-12 to hold Lerner in contempt. The vote followed hours of heated debate on the committee. The contempt measure would next head to the House floor. House Speaker John Boehner predicted earlier this week that unless Lerner agrees to cooperate, the full House will support contempt -- from there, the case would likely head to the courts. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or
