Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates has strongly criticized President Obama´s passion for the nation´s military - contrasting his attitude strongly with that of his predecessor President George W. Bush. In his forthcoming memoir ´Duty´, Gates claims that he never once saw Obama become emotional during a Medal Of Honor ceremony - claiming that his coldness was in stark contrast with Bush, who would regularly ´well up´. Declaring himself to be ´disturbed´ by this ´absence of passion´, Gates goes onto say that the only time he saw his commander-in-chief become animated during his time in the administration was during Obama´s push to repeal

That is certainly not at all surprising. I always had to turn the channel when I saw 0bama appear at any memorial service because from his body language alone you could tell he didn´t give a flip about the occasion, had no emotion whatsoever and it looked like he was merely acting and going through the motions. 0bama is a stone cold tyrant who cares about nothing but himself and his absolute power. He behaves like dictators we have only seen in third world countries and we are stuck with him. It sickens and infuriates me that so many ignore who and what he really is for their own political and/or personal gain.

I have a hard time understanding how anyone could not be emotionally moved if they even had a small understanding of what these guys went through, the terror they conquered to perform such brave acts, the loss of friends that they suffered, what the parents and loved-ones suffered when their son did not come home. One would have to be dosed on Xanax, Valium, or some other drug. Of course, there are rumors that this is the case. The choom gang member is just too laid back.

P.S. Did Gates mention the purple ties that Obama would wear to the ceremonies? This fits with his observation that the gays-in-the-military issue is the only thing that Obama was passionate about.

He´s been bored his whole life...he´s just too talented to do what ordinary people do - according to Valerie Jarrett. So the war against terrorism just wasn´t that interesting to him apparently. Now...gays in the military, that was something that got him excited, according to Gates. Hmmmm

There is someone (I can´t find who exactly this is) who has had the task of initiating new presidents into the White House and according to him zero was the ONLY one who wasn´t overwhelmed and in awe of just being there. This worried him. For good reason as it turns out.

Maybe King of the World might tweak his interest.

Rush Limbaugh said it a very long time ago. Obama is cold.

#8, there was a show (perhaps on National Geographic network?) about Air Force One. It showed the new President Obama arriving on AF1 and meeting the pilot for the first time. Obama could not have been more ordinary or unimpressed; at one point, he told the pilot that he looked like a pilot from central casting. Absurd and not befitting the office of president.

False Leads Plague Search for Plane

Three days of fruitless air and sea search for a vanished Malaysia Airlines flight left investigators with no concrete evidence of what happened to the plane or the people aboard. The search area was widened as frustrations mounted across the waters between Malaysia and Vietnam, where the search was concentrated, and in hotels where the families of the missing passengers congregated in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing. "We are bewildered" with the disappearance, said Hishamuddin Hussein, Malaysia´s acting transport minister Air-safety experts were equally stunned by the absence of floating wreckage. WASHINGTON: Investigators in Malaysia are voicing skepticism that the airliner that disappeared early Saturday with 239 people on board was the target of an attack, U.S. and European government sources close to the probe said. The fate of the Malaysian airliner that vanished about an hour into a flight to Beijing remained a mystery, as a massive air and sea search, now in its third day, failed to turn up any trace of the Boeing 777 plane. Neither Malaysia´s Special Branch, the agency leading the investigation locally, nor spy agencies in the United States and Europe have ruled out the possibility

A host of scenarios could have resulted in the loss of an airliner without any distress call being made, including, however unlikely, the complete structural failure of the aircraft’s fuselage. There is also a remote possibility that the aircraft was struck by a stray missile as part of a military exercise gone wrong. After all, the US was responsible for downing an Iran Air flight in the Persian Gulf in 1988. However, no one should imagine that, in our security-conscious era, terrorism is an unlikely explanation. Many people believe that the post-9/11 use of locked and reinforced cockpit doors prevents any hijacker from

On March 9, a very influential geostrategic and ideological adviser of the Putin regime, Aleksandr Dugin, published his game plan for domination of Europe. The plan, which Dugin calls “the Russian Spring,” is presented as one of three scenarios for resolution of the current Ukrainian crisis. The other two, in which the Kremlin blinks in the face of Western pressure, result in thermonuclear war or complete global chaos. Following is Dugin’s plan for the Russian Spring. Political brands are important. If a candidate or political party has a damaged political brand, it’s harder for them to sell themselves to voters. But sometimes a poll’s top lines can be deceiving, so you need to look a little below the surface to understand what is going on. Everyone knows that the Republican Party’s brand stinks, and while the Democratic brand is still mediocre, it’s measurably better than the GOP’s. A Feb. 19-23 CBS News/New York Times poll found that only 33 percent of respondents had a favorable view of the Republican Party, while a stunning 61 percent had an unfavorable

The House Oversight Committee is unlikely to consider potential contempt charges against former IRS official Lois Lerner this week, a GOP aide said Monday. Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) had said that he could move on holding Lerner in contempt this week, after the former head of an IRS tax-exempt division invoked her Fifth Amendment rights for a second time on Wednesday. But Issa likely won’t meet that timeline, after a dust-up between the California Republican and the top Democrat on the Oversight panel, Rep. At a White House tribute to the "Women of Soul" last Thursday, Obama dropped the initial "E´´ when trying to spell out "respect" as the queen of soul does in her famous song. It took zero-point-zero seconds for that quote to become precisely the sort of rallying point that Republican incumbents would probably rather their opponents not have. The Tea Party-versus-establishment war has rarely been articulated as plainly as in McConnell´s comments. Although it appears that McConnell was probably speaking within the fairly narrow frame of candidates challenging incumbent Republican senators.
