Anthony Bosch describes Alex
Rodriguez´s PED use on ´60 Minutes´

Los Angeles Times, by Dan Loumena

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 1/13/2014 12:26:54 PM

Anthony Bosch, the key witness in Major League Baseball´s case against Alex Rodriguez, described in detail during a "60 minutes" interview how he provided an array of performance-enhancing drugs to the New York Yankees third baseman and helped the suspended player use them. Bosch, founder of the now-defunct Florida anti-aging clinic Biogenesis of America, told CBS´ Scott Pelley in an interview that aired Sunday that Rodriguez paid particular attention to the types of drugs and dosages needed to bolster his performance. Testosterone and human growth hormone were among the banned substances he provided, Bosch said. Bosch said that Rodriguez spent approximately $12,000

Comments:
Bosche admitted to adminstering the drugs because Rodriguez was apparently afraid of needles.

I don´t believe this guy. He said ARod was afraid of needles, yet on Fox this morning he said that he drew blood from ARod in a bathroom stall in. Miami nightclub. If he was so afraid I believe that he wouldn´t have done it in a venue like a bathroom stall.

Re #1, Bosch said he sometimes injected A-Rod because he was afraid of needles. He was referring to using needles himself. A fair number of people would be squeamish about giving themselves an injection of any kind.

He´s been tested for drugs many times over the years (I believe more than sixty times) and has never failed a test.

I believe Bosch is a liar! He has numerous bad raps for dealing drugs! He spent time in the federal pen for dealing MJ and has dozens of state convictions including raps for grand theft and burglary. In 1995 he was sentenced to 20 years as a felon in possession of a firearm. The stiff sentence was because of numerous previous charges and convictions of a felony.

He´s a bad apple. So who you gonna believe?

PS: I love baseball!

With this publicity... akin to free advertising...
the price of an Alex Rodriguez bobble-head doll should skyrocket.

People can use the A-Rod bobble-head souvenir as a PEDz Dispenser.

There´s a rumor that many MLB training rooms have several large A-Rod PEDz
Dispenser bobble-heads around for the convenience of players
and just for the ironic (and iconic?) novelty of it.

Lance Armstrong was tested many times too. Finally admitted guilt.

Mike Tyson was tested many times and passed. Admitted to using prosthetic penis to conceal cocaine use.

A-Rascal isn´t denying use, merely complaining about the system that caught him.

If they´re serious about the PED rules, kick ARod out of the game forever. None of this half step stuff. No compromises. Otherwise forget it.

My own thinking is, people always seek an edge. They know the dangers and should be left alone. You ruin yourself with excessive PEDs, and the examples of such guys´ lives are the best deterrent to excessive PED use.

At the same time, some PED use does enhance performance and makes for more exciting baseball. The McGwire-Sosa home run race makes the point.

Hence there IS a happy medium, but the only way to find it is by individuals testing on their own bods. I say leave them alone. They hurt or endanger only themselves.

Either that or, as stated at the outset, run the "cheaters" out of the game for good.

WASHINGTON — President Obama spoke in unusually personal terms at the White House on Thursday about how he got high as a teenager and was at times indifferent to school as he deplored what he called America’s numbness to the plight of young black men. Drawing on the power of his own racial identity in a way he seldom does as president, Mr. Obama sought to connect his personal narrative about growing up without a father to that of a generation of black youth in the United States who he said faced higher odds of failure than their peers.
