If You Ever Had Any Doubt the
Media is Biased on Climate, This
Should End Your Doubt

NewsBusters, by Amy Ridenour

Original Article

Posted By:mikkins2, 1/12/2014 2:51:34 PM

The indefatigable David Rose of Britain´s Daily Mail, working with British climate blogger Tony Newberry, has today exposed bias in news reporting of climate change of a scale heretofore unknown, even for that never-accurately-covered subject. He reveals that, in a move orchestrated by the BBC itself and a left-wing lobby group, the British government under the Labor Party paid for BBC personnel to be taught the left-wing, pro-alarmist spin on climate issues for the specific purpose of using the "news" as propaganda. The seminar project was run by a BBC "journalist." A single seminar, paid for by British taxpayers, cost 67,000 pounds

It´s worth repeating, the media is the enemy of free people. Calling them corrupt is like calling the Grand Canyon a pothole.

It´s also worth noting that they hate us.

My wife gave me a propaganda piece from Time on GloBul Warming and infectious diseases. I could only get through a couple of paragraphs before gagging. Full of untruths, outright lies and AGW talking points. Then again, it was Time, I give the National Enquirer more creds.

A Washington Post story purporting to expose the Koch brothers as behind-the-scenes beneficiaries of the Keystone Pipeline has been exposed as an utterly false propaganda operation, hilariously wrong and politically malicious. Even worse, one of the writers behind the story is married to a political operative in the left wing Koch-demonization machine. The Washington Post was recently purchased by Jeff Bezos of Amazon, who ought to take a hard look at the reporters and editors who collaborated with the left wing smear machine, and while he is at it, should send a note of thanks to John Hinderaker, the blogger

The National Republican Senatorial Committee is mad as hell, and it’s not going to take it anymore. This is the third election cycle in a row where incumbent Republicans and the NRSC’s hand-picked candidates have faced stiff primary challenges funded by Tea Party groups. No less than Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell is being primaried, and he’s made it clear what he plans to do to groups going after the national GOP. “I think we are going to crush them everywhere,” McConnell told the New York Times on March 8. “I don’t think they are going to have a single

A top Republican campaigning for immigration reform is warning that America needs at least 1 million more immigrants every year just for basic farming and construction jobs, not ban like some in the party are advocating. Carlos Gutierrez, Commerce secretary under former President George W. Bush, said that without more immigrants, businesses won´t be able to grow because there aren´t enough workers available. And helping them could boost the Republican Party, added the former Kellogg Co. executive. Speaking at a Republican confab, he said that comprehensive immigration reform passed in the Senate and rejected by

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), who has been a staunch supporter of American workers and against amnesty, argued that Republicans can frame Democrats as the party that favors elites at the expense of working Americans only if they make a clean break from amnesty legislation that lowers Americans´ wages and threatens their jobs. In an op-ed at National Review, Sessions wrote that after Mitt Romney "lost lower and middle-income voters by an astonishing margin," the GOP´s "brilliant consultant class" decided they would promote an amnesty agenda that would hurt these voters even more. "And what did the GOP’s brilliant consultant class conclude from

In his analysis of Florida Republican David Jolly´s special election win over Democrat Alex Sink on Tuesday, Republican establishment strategist Karl Rove failed to fully acknowledge the importance of both mobilizing the Republican base for this fall´s midterm elections and opposing amnesty. In an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal on Thursday, Rove wrote that Jolly´s win showed that "ObamaCare is a potent issue that hurts Democrats badly but isn´t sufficient by itself." He mentioned that there could be similar conditions that led 2010´s epic sweep, but he did not mention that the Tea Party fueled that wave. Without explicitly

Actions speak louder than words, and Congress’ actions over 113th session demonstrate a bipartisan unwillingness to get runaway federal spending under control. An early indication was Congress’s actions on the Hurricane Sandy bill, a bloated, $50 billion pork-barrel spending bill that was ostensibly intended to help northeastern states recover from the storm. Due to its dubious emergency designation, spending in the bill didn’t count against the spending caps put in place by the 2010 Budget Control Act. Consequently, opportunistic Members of Congress from both political parties seized the chance to attach tens of billions

Hours after an on-air meltdown over immigration, Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) asked pro-amnesty business group ImmigrationWorksUSA to bail her out of criticism, prompting the group to send an email plea for phone calls and other support. “We need your help,” ImmigrationWorksUSA wrote to its email subscribers. “Rep. Renee Ellmers has been an outspoken advocate for immigration reform, and now she is being attacked by the right for her courageous stance. Please join us in speaking out in her defense. Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham called out the congresswoman this morning, and Breitbart TV piled on.”

Ellmers, under fire on amnesty from calm but insistent questioning from Ingraham, called her host “small minded,” “ignorant,” and claimed to be the author of a ubiquitious immigration talking point, adopting the third person to say “Renee Ellmers thinks for herself.”

It is easy to become depressed about the present state of the nation, but there is some very good news as well.{SNIP}“Respect is given to people who do what they say, who live according to what they believe, who are persons of integrity. A position or title doesn’t necessarily garner respect, but integrity does” says Dr. Baker and that is bad news for those identified as “leaders” or “experts” who do not display integrity. The normally sharp-shooting Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell may have misfired on Thursday when he took to the stage at the Conservatives Political Action Conference brandishing a gun. The gun was actually an award from the National Rifle Association for Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., who is retiring because of medical problems. But the image of McConnell walking out, waving the gun over his head, went viral. Here’s how Huffington Post editorial director Howard Fineman, a former Courier-Journal staffer, described it: “McConnell entered stage right, waving a frontier musket over his head. If you ever wanted to know why pro-amnesty Republicans failed to get immigration reform passed, Thursday´s immigration panel at CPAC was a great place to start. Not that the panel itself was against immigration reform. It was definitely for it. Including moderator-lobbyist Mercy Viana, the panel consisted of four pro-amnesty speakers (Viana, Helen Krieble of the Krieble Foundation, Alfonso Aguilar of Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, and the Rev. Luis Cortes), while featuring only one anti-amnesty voice (The Heritage Foundation´s Derrick Morgan). The pro-amnesty slant of the speakers, however, was not a surprise. WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney said Sunday that President Barack Obama is naive when it comes to Russia, has shown "faulty judgment" about Moscow´s intentions and could have done more to try to deter its annexation of Crimea. The 2012 Republican presidential nominee said Obama didn´t have the foresight to anticipate Russia´s moves and should have been working earlier with allies to make clear the penalties that Russia would face if it moved into Ukraine. Romney did acknowledge that such steps may not have been enough though to hold back Russia President Vladimir Putin. "Had we communicated those things, there´s always

She’d show up when it suited her, waiting in the dark before dawn till I came downstairs and turned on my desk lamp. Then she’d make her presence known by rising up on her hind legs and gently

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how the sweeping acceptance of gay marriage in recent years is owed in large part to Christianity. Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,

First lady Michelle Obama told students that freedom of speech should be a universal right during her extravagant, no-press-allowed tour of China — a hypocritical move that will surely draw the ire of critics, according to an expert. “That is troublesome. That goes beyond hypocritical, and I think the American media and the international media has every right to call her and the Obama administration on that — that they permitted that to happen,” said Tom Whalen, a political history professor at Boston University. “It makes you shake your head, albeit sadly.” The first lady stopped at Peking University in Beijing yesterday

But a new study of 212 black college students made available to Secrets found little open-mindedness: Blacks don´t like it when other blacks associate with whites, to the point of refusing help to an African-American experiencing “a run of bad luck” -- just because they have white friends.
