ABC’s Karl: What does the White

(Video) JON KARL: Back to the jobs numbers today, I seem to remember you at the podium not long ago, showing us charts of jobs growth over the past couple years, and the implication — taking some credit, the White House taking credit that the president’s policies contributed to jobs growth. Now we have this report, I mean, barely treading water, 74,000 are created, and probably more ominously, the workforce participation rate is down at a low for almost 40 years. CARNEY: Pretty much where it’s been since 2009, but yeah. KARL: So does the White House, do the president’s

"Barely treading water;" the jobs report is NOT treading water, it has been underwater for the last three years. I have never known so many qualified workers looking for a job, and there are none to be had. 0bama´s policies have done more to kill jobs than anything else.

"Pretty much where it´s been since 2009, but yeah."! First it isn´t true, but more troubling is that it doesn´t seem to bother Carney and the bunch very much. Why would that be? Is it part of the plan? Or are they choosing to ignore the problem? Not really comfortable with either option.

Not only underwater but diving deeper. With 92 million people out of the job market, there is so much off the radar that isn´t being reported the people are deliberately being hood-winked by this bunch of Marxists! Just look around. With Detroit in bankruptcy, other cities right on their heels, store space for lease everywhere, personal net worth going down and people lining up for jobs at Walmart, this is closer to a depression than anywhere near a thriving economy, but the Øbamboozler and his minions are happier than a pig in mud because the United States is being "fundamentally Transformed" ... right into the dumpster by design!

The jobs report is usually the gross. Gross is total new jobs. The net would be new jobs minus the jobs lost. I don´t think the net has ever had a positive quarter under Obama.

The U3 unemployment rate used to be a good measure by mostly counting people drawing unemployment. In the past the economy was good enough that people found jobs before their unemployment ran out or they got a job just after. The number of people who ran out their unemployment and still could not get a job was very small so that amount of error in the U3 number was not significant. Now that error is so large that U3 is no longer a good method to measure unemployment. Even U6 does not work with job markets as bad as this one.

But they say the GDP is growing. Well, GDP is calculated as the amount all the businesses in the country have earned but they also add in the amount of money borrowed by the government. There are good reasons(in the past) to add in that borrowed money because usually it meant that money was building something and adding value to the country. If it is paying for people to not work, in other words not add value to the country, or for useless investment projects,(most of the green stuff) then that flies in the face of the reasoning for adding in the borrowed money. What would be the trend of our GDP for the last 6 years if borrowed money was not counted? I suspect we wouldn´t have had any growth. Are we in fact in a depression which has been hidden by manipulating the GDP with borrowed money?

So Carney´s response is "We´re still working on it and I don´t want to talk any more about it."

If you were having a house built or a car repaired and six years later the job still wasn´t done wouldn´t it be long overdue to fire the people working for you?

CGI Federal has been fired after failing for 3 years to build a web site.

At what point does lack of success = failure? Because that is what this administration is, an abject failure. On the economy, on healthcare, on global issues and relations, on race, on poverty, on law, on energy, on fairness, on income inequality, on EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING is worse under this administrations policies.

They aren´t "treading water", they are "sleeping with the fishes".

Last week’s deadly shooting at Fort Hood has spurred renewed calls to allow military personnel to carry weapons on bases, but Sen. Tim Kaine argues politicians ought to stay out of the issue. “I trust the military leadership on this. I don’t live on a military base, and I don’t serve in the military,” the Virginia Democrat said on “Fox News Sunday.” “For those of us in Congress to say ‘here’s what they should do,’ I worry that it would be a little political rather than really about safety or security.” In the aftermath of last Wednesday’s shooting — which

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rep. President Obama is imposing his policies directly on federal contractors. This week, he will sign an executive order that would prohibit federal contractors from retaliating against employees who discuss their pay with each other. The prohibition on the wage "gag rules" is similar to language in a Senate bill aimed at closing a pay gap between men and women. That legislation is scheduled for a vote this week, though it is not likely to pass. In addition, Obama on Tuesday will direct the Labor Department to adopt regulations requiring federal contractors to provide compensation data based on sex and race.

WASHINGTON - At the prodding of business organizations, House Republicans quietly secured a recent change in President Barack Obama´s health law to expand coverage choices, a striking, one-of-a-kind departure from dozens of high-decibel attempts to repeal or dismember it. Democrats describe the change involving small-business coverage options as a straightforward improvement of the type they are eager to make, and Obama signed it into law. Republicans are loath to agree, given the strong sentiment among the rank and file that the only fix the law deserves is a burial. "Maybe you say it helps (Obamacare), but it really helps

The British historian Lord Acton reminds us that “power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” That quote from a letter he wrote in 1887 was as true then as it does today. In light of Benghazi, Fast and Furious, or IRS probes of conservative groups in the midst of a presidential reelection, one might conclude that I’m referring to the corruption of government officials. Perhaps. The real and absolute corruption I refer to is the power of the mainstream media to decide what it believes to be news while further exercising their power to ignore stories that don’t
