Bridget Anne Kelly, the aide Governor Christie fired for her role in manufacturing a Fort Lee traffic jam apparently as political retribution, was receiving messages about what to tell reporters before she accompanied him to the Seaside Heights boardwalk fire, newly released documents show. On the fourth day of the traffic jam, the governor - accompanied by Kelly - rushed to the scene of the inferno raging in Ocean County. The pair arrived at the boardwalk on Sept. 12 at about 6:25 p.m. The fire was first reported at about 2:05 p.m. Ocean County photographer, Phil Stinton, snapped photos of Christie

Nothing? Here´s Chris Christie, playing at crisis management after a fire, with sleeves rolled up, missing only the famous blue Sandy fleece and the big bro hug for Barry. Right next to him, his top aide is doing crisis management of her own, trying to gloss over political retribution stunt she knew about at least a month before it happened. And Christie was in the dark, so he says, meaning he´s either dishonest or a very poor manager.

Knowing a little about the port authority from friends who constantly had to deal with these thugs, I find it hard to believe they would have done anything like this without their palms being greased.

There sure is a lot of whining about the closed lanes. It was months ago. Christie apologized and fired some people. Compare this to the retribution Obama has wrought on countless groups, from applications for 501(c)(4) status, to the legal attacks on JP Morgan Chase, to his NSA, to eavesdropping on journalists, to IRS exams on individuals that criticized him, and on and on and on. Get over the lane closures. Take care of the individuals who lost their insurance because of Obamacare, and forget about traffic jams last year. What difference now does it make.

The whining and crying of the moonbat left gets old. All they are doing is making Christie stronger than ever. Thanks, Democrats. Go ahead and run the old woman who got Americans killed at Benghazi. Maybe she will make Susan Rice and Huma Abedin her co-vice presidential running matrons.

Gad, Christie is not running for office against Obama but against a bunch of Republicans.

Although they look pale in comparison, I´d say Un Il is running a good race here, although tossing his uncle and 5 aides to 120 hungry dogs may be a bit excessive, Christie would be well advised to put out a request for bid for 240 hungry pitbulls.

So far none of the staff people have broken down and ´confessed´ their boss´ involvement, he really can´t keep these people around.

Newark — In one of the largest Superfund cleanups ever proposed, federal officials yesterday called for a bank-to-bank dredging of the Passaic River that would remove more than 4 million cubic yards of toxic sediment from the river bottom — enough to fill up MetLife Stadium twice. The $1.7 billion cleanup, under study for 25 years, would target the lower eight miles of the highly polluted waterway, from Belleville to Newark, which remains heavily contaminated with high concentrations of dioxin, PCBs and other contaminants left behind by more than a century of industrial activity. Officials said those responsible for polluting the

Pennsville Twp. — Though a township man found innocent of gun charges in an incident with police is having a hard time in returning to a normal life, people on both sides of the case hope that the incident last year serves as a lesson for lawful gun owners. In February 2013, Samuel McGraw, 24, of Clark Street, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose after he allegedly pointed a shotgun at police from his porch. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators.
