Finally! White House to replace
lead HealthCare.gov contractor

Washington Times, by Tom Howell, Jr.

Original Article

The Obama administration plans to replace the lead contractor on HealthCare.gov, the glitchy federal website that hindered the fall rollout of the new health care law, with another company. Officials plans to drop CGI Federal, after the company took a share of blame for its role in preparing a website that serves 36 states and needed extensive repairs after its Oct. 1 launch, the Washington Post first reported. A major consulting company, Accenture, will take its place. CGI’s contract runs out at the end of February, and Accenture had built the relatively well-functioning health exchange that California is using to enroll people

On the surface this move seems reasonable, but rest assured some other crony will get the job and the one that was fired, since it was a big-arse buddy of Michelle´s, will get recompense from our tax dollars -- somehow. The Obama´s are good at spending our money on their friends and on themselves.

Now, tell me -- what will a properly-operating website do except to make enrolling easier for a plan that truly stinks to high heaven?

This entire O´Care bill needs dismantling, not electronic band-aids.

Now all the millionaires in the congress are readying their wallets for Accenture payments! BTW, didn´t we used to hate Arthur Andersen (Accenture´s CP firm) for their support of Enron? Didn´t the Fed´s destroy that firm and then find out they were wrong? How many AA partners are starving because of the Fed´s thereby destroying their pensions?
What a boondoggle.

Another nobid contract?

Where will the money be diverted from? Military benefits? Surely not Congressional or White House perks.

During the 3 1/2 years of World War II that started with the Japanese bombing
Pearl Harbor in December 1941 and ended with the Surrender of Germany and
Japan in 1945, the U.S. produced 151 aircraft carriers, 8 battleships, 48
cruisers, 349 destroyers, 420 destroyer escorts, 203 submarines, 34 million
tons of merchant ships, 100,000 fighter aircraft, 98,000 bombers, 24,000
transport aircraft, 58,000 training aircraft, 93,000 tanks, 257,000 artillery
pieces, 105,000 mortars, 3,000,000 machine guns, and 2,500,000 military
trucks.

We put 16.1 million men in uniform in the various armed services, invaded
Africa, invaded Sicily and Italy, won the battle for the Atlantic, planned and
executed D-Day, marched across the Pacific and Europe, developed the atomic
bomb and ultimately conquered Japan and Germany.

It´s worth noting, that during the almost exact same amount of time, the Obama
administration couldn´t build a functioning web site.

Something to Think About...

Even from the incomplete picture we have, Obamacare is likely the most disastrous implementation failure in the history of information technology. For another contractor to walk in, understand the requirements of an impossibly complex law, pick through the mess CGI has made, and set all to rights, would be arguably miraculous. Things could just as easily get worse as get better.

Oh yes the relative well functioning CA´s Cover Mexiforniaco exchange is a piece of art work that´s for sure. I just heard a TV news story that the CA Democrats are proposing covering CA´s 3,500,000 illegal aliens with Obamacare. Even though they are not allowed to be covered under current law. Also the story said that the Republicans are against this, of course. So the quick fix for this disastrous inequality is to pass urgently needed immigration reform to avert the healthcare crisis facing these poor people and their families, and get them covered right away. Finally a solution! But once again those hater Republicans are standing in the way. Republicans are hated more by the illegals in this country than the Nazi´s were hated by the Jews in WWII Germany.

“On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics.
